I like browsing small boutique high street shops from the comfort of my sofa. I came across Trouva a few years ago whilst Christmas shopping and since then the site is a main staple for me. I will always find what I’m looking for.

Bought a merino wool scarf for £60 - was delivered what I can only describe as a decorative scarf - so thin it was not fit for purpose. More worryingly the weave was not finished at the edges - it was just frayed already and ready to unravel. I paid delivery and had to pay for a return, putting me out £10 for absolutely nothing. I have since bought a cashmere/wool thick knitted blend for half the price IN LONDON. An absolute rip off.

Item never even arrived with the courier. The courier launched a missing item investigation. I contacted Trouva to process a refund (specifically stated this as it's a Christmas gift I now need to urgently replace). Have now been told it's too late for a refund as a replacement (that I don't want) has been processed. Delivery is 5-10 days. Absolutely FURIOUS

My son asked me to order a calendar that cost £32.99 plus about £5 p&p.
What arrived was basically just a piece of paper for each month of the year plus a to do list for each month. It can't have cost more than a couple of quid to print off. Very disappointed as it was supposed to be a Xmas gift but I thought it would be an insult to give it. The return postage was also expensive though would have cost twice as much if I'd done what they instructed - signed for, recorded delivery and proof of postage. Seems very dodgy

They gave me excellent customer service after I didn't realize their return fee was higher than other websites. This is because they represent small boutiques in Europe. They were very caring and immediately responded to my request.

I desperately wanted a very specific Christmas wreath that was out of stock everywhere. I chanced upon (the last) one on Trouva from a small independent shop, &Quirkey in Berkhamstead. Purchased Sunday night and was with me Tuesday. First class from Trouva and &Quirky.

This isn’t the first time that I’ve used Trouva and they are as good as ever. I found just what I wanted and the delivery service was excellent. The only thing I’d say is that the handbag I ordered should have been covered in some tissue or some kind of cover because it’s a Christmas present.

I love the idea of being able to help small independent stores. It’s so hard for them these days and the quality & personal attention you receive from the manager is second to none.. I have enjoyed my experience so much I have returned again I highly recommend this way of shopping..

Very simple to find the product and size that i was looking for. The price i paid was substantially cheaper than the Brand's own site. No hidden delivery costs or fees. I was also fully kept in the loop with dispatch & delivery times. Very pleased and will 100% use again.

Using Trouva I found the item that I wanted at the cheapest price and supported an independent boutique at the same time. Delivery was super speedy. One very happy shopper!
