Great Indian Rail Journey
Our tour of India met all our expectations. It is an experience rather than holiday and really enhances all the senses. The pick-up and flights worked without delay and we were met at Delhi airport by our excellent tour manager Kunal.
The logistics of India make a tour like this challenging, but actually it all ran smoothly which is quite something when you consider we travelled by plane, coach, rickshaw, train, taxi, jeep, yak (!j), canter and tuk tuk.
The sites speak for themselves but really loved the trip to Amritsar where we seemed the only western tourists which made us a bit of a tourist attraction and the privilege of working in the kitchen. Shimla was magical particularly toy train and the optional trip to the Himalayas and afternoon tea. Lucky also to see a tiger.
The food (apart from the Agra hotel) was exceptional, spicy and tasty. We also loved the cafe in Amritsar.
Only slight negative was that the hotels are all out of town, which curtailed any chance of independent wandering.
Kunal was a great tour manager who kept everything moving with a lovely sense of humour.

The great Indian rail journey was a tour that didn't disappoint. The tour guide (Kam) was exceptional, nothing was too much for him. Always there when needed and recruited local guides for that extra insight. His organisation skills were faultless. He made a good tour great.

We have just returned from the truly wonderful great Indian railway tour. It was truly an amazing experience that gave us memories to carry in our hearts for a lifetime.
Door to door pick up amazing. Hotels all wonderful with fabulous rooms and food . Tours incredible - we were treated like ViPs throughout. However, we can’t finish this review without a special shout out to our amazing guide Kam . What a fantastic ambassador for Titan . Vietnam/ Cambodia
I’ve just returned from a trip from Vietnam and Cambodia . It’s my first time on a solo trip and I must say being picked up from my home made things so much easier, than trying to sort your own travel out.I was surprised not to be met with a Titan Rep but lucky enough I knew someone on the trip as I was unsure what to do.We all were up early , then we had a almost an 11hr flight, so felt completely shattered. We were met by a Titan rep named Hoi and I must say he was the most amazing , funny and full of so much knowledge . He had us in stitches at times and was really patient with everyone. On landing in Hanoi airport we dropped our cases off and then straight out to visit several temples and we all were so shattered after a long flight ,we all felt it was too much.We felt at times we could of done with some down time but with all the traffic and 6 flights especially when it can’t be helped with a 6 hr flight delay. I’ve seen some amazing sites which will always be remembered, but I feel the itinerary needs to be changed slightly, to give people time to relax a bit more before the next adventure. Hoi went above and beyond to help us all even in the other airports. He deserved a medal the way he delt with everything. Most of the lunches were brilliant but unfortunately some were not good. I have to say Cambodia was amazing and the hotel was the best, felt we could of slightly less time in Vietnam Mrs R Drew

Great New Zealand Discovery with Singapore
This trip exceeded our expectations beyond belief - New Zealand is amazing!! We were so lucky to have such a great group of travelling companions and even luckier to have Greg as our guide and Andrew as our driver. Fabulous South India tour.
Fabulous tour, made all the more enjoyable by our wonderful guide Pradeep, whose extensive knowledge of India’s history, architecture and various cultures made all our visits, and even the coach journeys, very interesting.
Pradeep, the amazing coach driver Richard and helpful assistant Yuva were all very hard-working; they had to be, as 35 as a group size is too many, some logistical problems were always bound to occur, such as the pinch-points at lunchtimes and temple tours, but Pradeep handled these extremely well and maintained his good humour despite some trying moments. He was always available, checking that things were okay for us, and went out of way to meet our requests and needs.
We found most of the hotels to be good with only small housekeeping issues, which were always resolved. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour.

Grand Tour of Southern India
All in all a very interesting and really enjoyable tour.
Pradeep, our tour manager was amazing. Considering he was saddled with a large group of 35 we could not have been looked after better.
He was very informative on the temples and all the other places we visited and come meal times Pradeep was always there to help and explain the food. Never saw him stressed.
The driver, Richard, was a marvel, putting the coach into places a coach shouldn't fit. He got a round of applause a few times for that! Yuva ,his helper was also excellent.
I think the main gripe of most of us was that there were too many on this trip. For example, being shown round the food market the group was basically strung out in a queue situation, so those further back had no idea what was being pointed out at the front. similarly in the Spice Garden.
Exiting the coach was slow with only one door and at lunch and comfort stops we were sometimes queued out into the street waiting. Not the fault of the cafe owners. This is India and and they seldom have big restaurants that coachloads can pile into.
Mostly the hotels were fine- some superb.I would single out the Svatma,Thanjavur. A dirty bedroom floor, a badly cracked cup in the room, laminate floor coming apart in several places and just dusty and dirty.
At dinner they ran out of food ( and local beer) - almost like they were not expecting a tour group.
Enjoyed the Shalimer Spice Garden Hotel. Had a lovely little cabin on the hill with forest all around and a patio outside. It had a great restaurant manager but terrible wifi!
The Kerala boat trip was relaxing - just not enough seats for everyone to sit outside and enjoy the view.
India is an experience, with many wonderful sights.
I especially enjoyed the Kathakali dance performance,the Kalaripayattu martial arts demonstration and the "going to bed ceremony" at the Sri. Meenakshi Temple.
We have been to India before on two superb holidays with Titan. This is the first one that did not have a UK manager along with a local guide.
If it is Titan's new policy to have such large groups, it is not for me.

Great driver, great guide, great experience
Just concluded the Titan Great New Zealand Discovery with Singapore. It was an outstanding trip and made extra special by our guide Greg Coglan and our driver Andrew Brown. I have to give an extra special shout out to Greg though. I’ve been on many group tours and Greg is head and shoulders above the other guides. He was incredibly well organised, he gave us local treats on a regular basis, he encouraged questions every day, and was a true professional in every sense of the word. I’d give him 5 stars ++++ and then some. Overall I cannot recommend this trip enough, and modern Singapore is a great contrast to the green rugged mountains and laid back towns and cities of New Zealand. The itinerary of the trip is well thought out and put together. This tour should be on everyone’s bucket list. Exceptional.
