JUNK MAIL OBSESSED

JUNK MAIL - I am absolutely sick to death of this company. I made the mistake just over a year ago of asking for ONE brochure. I finally got there spam emails under control by blocking them, oh, but the junk mail is just crazy. I've never booked with them and not living at the original address anymore, they send something almost every day. Despite me returning everything they send, they are still bombarding the new owners of my original address and have been for over a year. It must be costing an absolute fortune as I don't believe for one minute I'm the only person they write to this often. I collected my post today and already three just this week (and that's a slow week).
I've no idea what they are like to travel with, but I would dissuade anyone to request a brochure. I didn't sign up for any other marketing by the way!

I thought this would be great, but it's really not...

I thought this would be a great, convenient service and signed up for a year at a cost of £75. I've not even done a month and I'm regretting it. The delivery drivers make a fair amount of noise when they deliver which does wake me up, and I'm guessing my neighbours too (although no complaints from them yet). Items are out of stock most of the time. My Wednesday delivery stopped last week, no idea why and I've just been on an AI chat - the only way to 'speak' to anyone - and basically told it's not their problem. The app is SO glitchy. Bakery items are expensive but nice when actually in stock, but whatever the weather are just in paper bags which surprise surprise get wet in the British weather, bearing in mind my delivery is around midnight so they're out there a few hours. I've also ordered bacon, nice, but a really short use by date. I have currently got 8 empties waiting for pick up and they've been out over a week. From previous reviews (which I wish I'd read before signing up) I'm concerned these either might not get collected or are being dumped.
This service could be amazing, but it's really not.

Book with someone else

Honestly, just don't waste your money. Book elsewhere if you want a company that actually cares whether you have a good holiday or not.
I've been trying to get a resolution from a holiday in September 2025 and today I am just going to give up.
Absolutely not interested in their customers.

Ask for specific staff for a positive experience

Terrible start with a salesman who was unprofessional and asking for fees he said were compulsory which was a lie. Turned up to collect the car (80 mile journey) and agreed work hadn't been completed.

I was about to walk away from the deal when Jak Murphy came out to see me, I was sat in my car about to drive home. Totally different experience and through his professional and honest attitude I made the decision to continue with the car once the agreed work was done, which it was a week later. Jak was in regular communication, along with Keanu.
My honest opinion is that your experience with this dealership will be completely based on who you deal with, which shouldn't be the case but it's a reality of the time that not everyone cares about their customers anymore.
If you get the opportunity, ask for Keanu and Jak.

Because I can't leave zero stars

I recently bought a bed from this company, despite the reviews for products being slow to arrive. BIG mistake. I took a day off work for the planned delivery date. I then received a text from the delivery company saying that the delivery would be delayed for a date I couldn't be available. The text had no reply facility and no number to contact. I tried to email Dusk, The email for customer service bounces back. There is no phone number that I can find for Dusk at all.
It took a few days but managed to find a WhatsApp number for the delivery company. Even in opening hours, this number is replied to by a chat bot and there is no facility to amend a delivery date. I tried emailing Dusk again but the email bounced back yet again.
I subsequently tried a further email to Dusk but again bounced back.
I now have a bed arriving on a day I'm not here and the charge will be £30 each time I miss it. I am unbelievably disappointed with this company. I wish I had never placed the order.

The plan is better than other vlcds I…

The plan is better than other vlcds I have tried.
However, delivery can be slow, and you are only allowed to return packs you don't like from your first order. Who puts in a large order the first time? They then only refund a small percentage of what you have paid for the packs.
If you are committed to losing weight, give this a go, just don't return anything!

Competition prize winner - great prize

We got this as my cat won a competition with Miller Homes. The upload process was easy and lots of designs to choose from. Received our preview, which you can't really change which is the only downside, not that we wanted to. It's arrived and is really cute. We went for the frame less option.

Renew whether you want to or not

When you decide not to renew and tell them you have found cover elsewhere they still hound you for renewal money.
No opportunity to speak to someone about this issue. Appalling company. DO NOT USE!

Rude staff - don't bother! 0 rating if possible

I called to upgrade to Sky Cinema and it took 3 people to speak to the right person. The third person was very rude preferring to try to upsell broadband instead of the reason I called.
Then got cut off - surprise surprise but I did think this would have been actioned.
Sat down Christmas Day to watch a film but not upgraded. Called to find out why but no one in sales free.
Eventually got a call back yesterday, another rude staff member who didn't give me the decency of an apology. When I asked she said didn't know what previous staff had said. I pointed out surely too many apologies was better than nothing she didn't reply.

Absolutely NOT like the photo

Absolutely NOT like the photo. Expected this to be a classy Christmas edition to my home, but no, tacky and poorly made.
Will now need to do a 22 mile round trip journey to return due to returns not being free.
This will definitely put me off ordering again.

Terrible uncaring company

I chose Optical Express without doing my homework based on someone telling me that they had a good experience. I honestly wish I had looked in to this company more.
Please, please don't use this company. I'm not going to bore you with my list of things that are not right with my eyesight or their total lack of aftercare if it does go wrong, just know I'm begging you to learn from my mistake and don't use this company.
If I could have a do over, I wouldn't use them if they did it for free!
