Food stains, scribbled crayon, binding coming undone

Needed a textbook right away, so I purchased a used textbook from textbooks.com. Price was fair and I received the book the next day which was awesome. However, the condition of the book is appalling and almost unusable. I am shocked that they took this book back and resold it. I know it was only $50, but it is extremely damaged on the outside (outside cover is worn down and coming off/falling apart), crayon drawn all over and SCRIBBLED the inside, has food and dirt stains. Disgusting. Not okay.

I will never use this website again

I will never use this website again, and I recommend that no one else uses it either. I have homework due tonight for this and it said my book would be ready in an hour. It has now been well over an hour since I have purchased this and I cannot access this. I have emailed their support team and still have not received an email, this is the worst experience I have ever had.

Spanish used book

I purchased a used book in Spanish from Textbooks.com the due delivery date was for April 1st. It did arrived on March 29th, and couldn't be more please as per the condition of the book as it looks brand new, and without any marks written on the pages. Very please with my purchase.

All I can say is WOW!!!

All I can say is WOW!!!! I was desperate for a book for my daughter for her education classes. I called yesterday and ordered it right then. It came TODAY!!!!!! That is amazing. The customer service was perfect, UNBELIEVABLE fast shipment. And to top it all off.....THE BOOK WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION!!!! Thank you, Thank you!!!!

EBOOK NOT RECIEVED

Ordered an ebook and still haven't received it after 24 hours. It kept saying Authorization In Progress. But they have the audacity to tell me authorization in progress after they charged me.

Scam

I bought an ebook from them, I was supposed to get the access code to a ebook in a package after 3 days of delivery. I received the code, tried to access the ebook and was told this is the access code to the exercises to the textbook-No, it didn`t mention anything about it being the "exercises in the textbook", but that was what i got instead of an actual ebook.
Then I called their customer service and their representative wouldn`t do anything about this scamming and misleading situation. I had to call my credit card company to report this as a scam.
10/10 wouldn`t recommend

A lot missing pages

I bought a used textbook, delivery was ok because I payed for ups one. But the textbook is absurd. There’s a lot missing pages in every single chapters which I will need the most. How they sell this kind of textbook for 60dollars, which is not cheap at all. And I sent an e-mail didn’t get answer yet but totally disappointed. I highly recommend not to use this website for used textbook at all. This is not for sale quality even if it’s free I wouldn’t need this; so many missing pages.

Wouldn't take back their own book less than 1 week later

I purchased a used book from this site for $160 and before I even read the book I decided not to take the class that it was for so I went through the buyback process with the same site only A WEEK after purchasing the book and they told me it was ineligible for return because of excessive writing/highlighting even though I never used the book.

I ordered a textbook for my nephew that…

I ordered a textbook for my nephew that was needed in 3 weeks. My account was charged the day I ordered it for $175. There has been no email or contact. There is no way to call them and you have to email them to get a response. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from them. I am worried that I will not receive this book.

Poor Shipping and Unclear Checkout

I went to order my mandatory school textbook and it was very hard to order it because I kept clicking the "checkout" button and it just reloaded the screen I was on. I then went to order next day shipping and I will be receiving my textbook in more than 2 days. When we ordering the book the first time (yes it took us multiple tries), it sent a notification to my phone and requested permission to order the book. When we did not respond after 5 MINUTES it CANCELLED the order and when we went to reorder it NEVER went through even though I got an emailing saying it did. I was stunned that this was so disorganized and I am now missing an extremely important textbook. I would not recommend this sight if you are looking for an important mandatory book.

Not for gifts

I ordered a new book and it came with this giant sticker on the back which is impossible to remove without little bits tearing off and the whole thing leaving residue. I wanted to give this as a gift but now it looks awful.

I am only placing a star because that is the only way I can make a comment. I ordered my book and emailed the company still have not received my book. This is the first time I have used them. I have used other book companies where I purchased an ebook and got it instantly. I even called the company and I only got an answering machine. Really?! I want my money back. What is the point of purchasing an ebook rental and not having access to it, note there is even a time limit on how long I can use the book.

Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. I sold 3 textbooks back to this site, 2 were literally brand new. One of the books I sold back to them was an anatomy atlas because I realized I didn’t need it for my class but already took the plastic off so I couldn’t get a refund from the bookstore. Textbooks.com received the book and said it wasn’t accepted because it was damaged. I called to find out why this was because I literally bought the book 2 weeks ago before this. They said the code on the inside of the cover was scratched off. I know for a fact it wasn’t because I never even opened the book to use and bought it brand new. I wish I would’ve taken a picture so I had proof. I paid $8.95 to have the book shipped back to me so that I could maybe sell to another student. Sure enough the code is scratched off now and it will probably be useless. I will NEVER use this site again and don’t recommend it to anyone.

Take Your Money Elsewhere

I am livid. I need a book for tomorrow and ordered it yesterday morning. It is an E-Book, and even though it says it's still authorizing, money is showing pending on my bank account. I wouldn't use Textbooks.com ever again, and do not trust them.
