Never answer the phone!
I ordered a vanity unit including fitted sink online, arranging for it to be delivered to the North Shields branch, for me to collect.
Very quickly received an email stating that my order "SHOULD" be at the showroom on Friday?
I was therefore expecting another email on the Friday stating that my order was ready to collect ( don't know if Tecaz do this or not? )
No such email, arrived, so was not certain whether my order was ready for collection or not, so decided to phone.
That's where the problem lies:- No one at the North Shields showroom ever answered the phone!
Left messages at the collection department and the main bathroom showroom, but never got a call back from either.
After many calls I simply gave up!!
Its very unprofessional and a total disgrace to treat customers with such disregard!
Had to call the showroom again on Monday 10th to further chase up my order-- This time someone actually answered the phone! ( a miracle ) The girl on the desk looked into my order progress, before telling me it was already in the showroom and ready for me to collect.
However, I had not received any text or email stating this and if I had not called to inquire, I would never have known my order was ready to collect.
I had yet another problem when I called to collect my order.
I went to the collections window and when I gave over my order number, it was apparent that no one recognised the online order number which caused some confusion. They were only able to track down my order details by taking my name and post code.
I was then given two items, one was a very large and heavy box which I took to be my Vanity unit and integral sink. The other item was the tap and waste that I had also ordered.
Unfortunately, I had assumed that the ceramic sink would be included in the large box, which was an error on my part as when I opened it later it only contained the vanity unit. The sink was not there.
I called back next day and picked up the sink, which they had forgotten to give mew the first time I called to pick up my order. If the collections staff had taken the time to fully read the customer order, they would have seen it contained a ceramic sink ( not just a vanity unit ) and perhaps passed me the sink at that time, instead of me having to call back a second time.
All in all, this purchase experience has been very poor from start to finish and I certainly won't be rushing back to Tecaz in the future

Where to start? We were worried about the reputation that Tecaz has but in all honesty this has not been reflected in our experience. Elaine, our designer/style guru provided invaluable help, guidance and assurance during our bathroom makeover. Communication has been great and straightforward and the service provided by Elaine was excellent over the months it took us to work through our design thoughts. All products were competitively priced and were all delivered on the date and time agreed in perfect condition. The delivery men were excellent and made sure everything was as it should be.
The fitting was undertaken to a very high standard by Lee and Peter. They were polite, professional and courteous at all times. They were both friendly and cheerful which is really important when they were in our home for 7 days. They arrived on time each day and worked without lunch breaks with occasional cups of coffee to keep them going. Our house was treated with respect and the finished bathroom exceeded our expectations and looks amazing. We would have no hesitation recommending Elaine, Lee and Peter to friends and relatives.

Can highly recommend Tecaz at North Shields from the moment we met Elaine to the day Lee and Peter finished the install of our bathroom I can't fault them.
The service and help from Elaine in the showroom when we first decided to change our bathroom, she was so helpful showing us what worked regarding choosing what would work really helped us decide on what we wanted. She was polite and friendly we never even went to another shop we just decided that she knew what we wanted and we loved the fact she could show us exactly how it would look.
Elaine contacted us at every step of the job regarding delivery install dates and everything went so smoothly. We had two great lads who fitted the bathroom Lee & Peter and I cant fault their workmanship and attention to detail. They were excellent.
Anyone looking for a new bathroom pop in ask for Elaine and you won't be disappointed.
10 out of 10 for customer service and just being so helpful.

From the the very start everything was handled professionally. Michael's design and concept has worked a treat, also his help in choosing all the fittings was invaluable. The two fitters Phil and Norman did a sterling job, and the finish is second to non.

Excellent service from the North Shields branch, Elaine was friendly, helpful and really lovely to deal with from the off. Phil and Henry from Fine Fit Bathrooms did such an amazing job on fitting our bathroom and were a pleasure to deal with the whole time - it looks amazing.

Thank you for supplying our new bath it is exactly what we wanted. Thank you also for recommending Steve to fit the bath and additional items.
They did a fantastic job and even took the remains of the old away.

Ordered a new bathroom today with Elaine from the north shields branch. She went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for and to get it at the best price she could. Would definitely recommend

Lisa was really welcoming and gave us her professional advice regarding our purchase. Lisa was very patient and helpful, very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend her if you ever visit the Stockton branch.

Got our bathroom toilet and sink from the Sunderland branch with staff being very helpful.At the Stockton branch today to get the rest of the fixtures. Lisa very very helpful , she couldn’t do enough for us, especially when the black radiators we wanted were not something they had in store , she she spent a very long time looking threw different brochures to try and find us the cheapest price . Would definitely shop here again and go straight to Lisa for all her help in the future :)

Terrible customer service.

Ordered wrong shower tray and different sink to what I was shown. Not interested in admitting any fault or resolving.

As can been seen from the companies reply, the above rings true, it seems miss selling is common practice at Tecaz!

Do not buy from here!

Excellent service from Tecaz … design advice from Elaine was amazing so helpful and enthusiastic and the fitters Phil and Henry were brilliant… attention to detail and reliable second to none… resulting in an incredible en suite … will definitely recommend and use again

Have used Jessica Knox twice over the years to supply our kitchens and have always been impressed. Nothing is too much trouble, she takes her time and makes you feel at ease. So when my mam was looking for a kitchen had no hesitation in recommending Jess. Spent 3 hours with her today, same fantastic service as ever.

Obviously as a tradesman I look all over for the best deal and every time Elaine at teecaz beats the prices not only that she is excellent at organising what I need so when it come to doing my jobs they all run smoothly. 100% recommend giving Elaine a visit when looking for a purchase.

Please be aware of 5 day policy
Bought a cast resin shower tray checked OK within 5 days looked OK went to fit and was warped unable to level impossible to fit glass screen as that bad a manufacturer fault they will not refund told to buy another as had it 9 days I have the defect tray and pictures available if required

Outstanding customer service from going in, having a chat with Elaine, picking out what we wanted to the lads that came to rip out, fit and clean up. Absolutely over the moon with the work carried out. 100% recommend.

Brilliant service from start to finish, from the help and advice from Elaine in the showroom to the finished bathroom done by the fitters who work alongside her.

The guy was great, gave us some great help with bath panels, explained all I needed to know, price matched a competitor, and we will return for the radiator, great service, thanks.

Myself and my partner recently purchased a bathroom and kitchen from tecaz north shielkds. They both look amazing and we are both over the moon. Thanks to all the staff that helped build our dream.

After a little time shopping around we were recommened to Tecaz as they do both bathrooms and kitchens. Needless to say I am not dissapointed with the level of service at all. I was quoted a 6 week lead time as the kitchen was made to measure and not pre built. During this time I was updated frequentlyly by the store manager and the in house designer Mohammed. We had one little hickup along the way but that was resolved with great haste.
Going forward I will be looking to also uprade my en-suite and would personally recommend anyone looking at a bathroom or kitchen to keep Tecaz in mind. Great job and thank you again.
