Good purchase. Slight shipping issue, but customer service was fantastic to help me

I ordered a Rip Curl F-Light Satchel Bag from them. It arrived promptly but had scratches and discolouration all along the front of the bag. I contacted customer services and mentioned I really liked the bag otherwise and asked for a replacement. After a bit of a runaround I receive the replacement, excited as ever, open it to find the same issue once more. I contact customer service once more and they tell me all their stock is like this and offer me a refund. As of writing, no refund and the product is still being sold on the site. So either they lied to me or they’re knowingly selling defective products to customers. Either one makes them a bad place to shop from IMO.

Excellent site with super fast postage. I have browsed & bought from Surfstitch a number of times over the years and have always found them reliable. I live remote and the postage was so fast! Will continue purchasing from SurfStitch.

I placed an order from Ireland & item came as expected. The only downside is that ordering from Ireland meant that I paid almost €40 tax...almost more then the item had cost me originally :( It stats this somewhere on the site bit of course I did not see this when ordering. When I washed the item the print peeled off & I contacted company. They have offered me a refund & have also offered to refund the tax I paid so I am pleased about this. Hoping to see refund in my PayPal account today. Good customer service :)

I ordered a bikini for 27 euros, then 8 euros shipping costs, okay, but then I had to pay 43 euros import costs. I paid more for the import costs than for the bikini itself. so don't order if you live outside australia. YOU PAY MUCH MORE FOR IMPORTCOSTS.

These guys are awesome, and super fast at getting your goods to you. Can not fault in any way, the goods, pricing delivery and overall customer experience, an absolute pleasure to deal with and very easy to navigate around site. Completely reliable and trustworthy.

I purchased the faulty garement on the 23rd November 2014. On the 23rd March 2017 I had to return 2 faulty garments back to Surfstitch one a Rip Curl Mimosa Dress purchased on the 24th April 2014 and one the Billabong Alyriah Skirt - Indigo; neither item had been worn, still with the tags attached but had clear faults. I subsequently received an email confirming the Rip Curl Mimosa Dress purchased on the 23rd November 2014 had been refunded to me in full. I then received an email confirming they could not refund the Billabong Alyriah Skirt - Indigo as it was returned out of their return policy even though the Billabong Alyriah Skirt was purchased after the Rip Curl Mimosa Dress which I had received a refund for. I have asked the company to offer an explanation but they will not give me a definitive response apart from below:

I am unable to process a refund on this item that you sent as the Rip Curl dress was not meant to be processed on our end, and lucky for you that it was :)

There is no consistency in their returns policy. I have asked to pass this matter to a superior but the person I have been dealing with refuses to pass my details on. I have now raised a complaint with the Consumer Council in their state.

Zweite Wahl Ware wurde innerhalb Deutschlands geliefert. Musste nach Frankreich zurückgeschickt werden. 60€ nie zurückbekommen! Ansprechpartner gibt es nicht! Absolute Frechheit!

Wrong colour and wrong sized t-shirt sent out to me. Surfstitch office insisted on the incorrect t-shirt being sent back by expensive registered post (£8) before I could receive another. However, they were unable to tell me if they had my correct order in stock. I eventually received a refund for the t-shirt after many emails, but after promising the refund postage to me, they did not give me the postage refund. I had to send many more emails, and contact their Head Office in Australia before they finally gave me the postage refund via PayPal whereupon I received less than I should have done due to the exchange rate.
I eventually bought the t-shirt from a reputable store with no problem, which I wished I had done firstly.

I used to buy stuff all the time but I recently found that the euro store in France is no longer open and you get directed to the Australian one which is of no use whats soever due to high shipping costs and taxes.Such a shame as there sister surdome is no way as good with brands and discounts.... shame on surfstich. so please don't advertize it as being in EUROPE.

Probably surfstich ( same domain of surfdome) WAS a good website for Europe before they close the branch in France. Now if you buy there something, you pay more on hidden expenses then the product.
I bought sale shoes there ( 2 pair and 1 flipflop) great value! I checked the price of the shipping(11 €), so I paid in total 50 €...after the payment they wrote to me a email and they said that i need to pay more taxes, now, I need to pay 27 €+ VAT to DHL for the documents + more
Taxes ( 23%) for more taxes + 50 € already paid... and all of this is not specificated on the website. Thankyou surfstich and surfdome

I have been satisfied with all orders , however in recent days have not been able to enter the inha account in order to use the discounts received , and would solve this situation

3 emails over 1 week, no response. Faulty board shorts, 4 pairs, all the same issue, and not 1 word. Your customer service is appalling and I am not going anywhere till I get my issues answered. I would seriously consider using anyone but this crowd, if things go wrong don't expect any response.

Hice un pedido , no es la primera vez hago pedidos a travez de esta página , antes no había tenido problemas , y hoy me llega el último pedido y m doy con la sorpresa de que DHL me dice q hay cobro de aduana por importe de 29,37 € . !!! El pedido q hice es de 62 € . Acabo de enviarles un email , espero me aclaren lo ocurrido. Porque tengo q pagar este porte de aduana ???
