Very positive experience

Exceptional and Reassuring Service
We recently purchased our motorhome from Spinney Motorhomes after doing a lot of research, and choosing our Adria Compact DL Supreme at the Camping & Caravanning Motorhome Show.
As first-time motorhome buyers, it was a big decision and, after placing our deposit, I naturally had a number of questions and needed some reassurance. What started as a slightly slow process quickly turned into a fantastic experience once I was introduced to the Northamptonshire branch and General Manager, Mark Petty.
Mark truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly reassuring, knowledgeable, and approachable throughout. Both he and his team were patient, never pushy, and took the time to guide us through everything properly, which made a huge difference as newcomers.
The handover experience was particularly impressive. I travelled from Kent by train to Northampton, and Mark kindly picked me up personally, took me to their shop for extras (where I even received a 10% discount), and then handed me over to his colleague Colin. The handover itself was thorough, clear, and well-paced — we left feeling confident and excited rather than overwhelmed.
Overall, the service from the Northamptonshire team was excellent from start to finish. A big thank you to Mark and the team — I would highly recommend them to anyone considering buying a motorhome, especially if you’re new to it like we are.

We have never owned a motorhome before so we were recommended to goto Spinney Cheshire.
Mark French our sales advisor offered us a no pressure sales experience with impartial advice making our decision easier to make.
On collection we had a thorough handover from Neil who was so helpful and knowledgeable.
Overall a fantastic experience from all the staff who worked there.
Having been to other dealerships I have no hesitation in recommending Spinney.

We were dealt with by a very friendly salesman called John Smith, he explained all aspects of our part exchange, our deposit and the hand over to me and my wife was dealt with by Neil, which was very thorough and Neil ensured that we where fully informed before letting us loose on the road. There were a few hiccups which we were ensured would be fixed once the parts came in the following week. So we were not at all worried about the purchase and the promise that the service department gave. A thoroughly great experience.

Service department support
We have received excellent support from Sally at the Cheshire branch service department. Although the reason for our contact was due to issues and repairs needed on our motorhome, Sally has been helpful, patient and flexible. Sally replies promptly to queries and calls and follows up on outstanding issues.

Good level of stock available to view and compare, staff were excellent, dealt with Ray who took all our enquiry questions and eventually the sale, very knowledgeable and informative. Whole experience was great from first enquiry right through to handover, which again was dealt with expertly. Would highly recommend.

Can't fault anything
Just bought a new caravan from Spinneys. Nice experience all round, from salesman to the guys in the showroom who did the handover. We have bought new vans before. Never from this company and we found them friendly and very professional. There was a minor fault which they became aware of at handover. That was all sorted before we left. Can't fault anything.

This could have so easily been 5 stars as we have been dealing with spinney for some time now. The hand over went really well as per and our first run out on a proper site went well. However I went in the van this morning and realised that the solar panel wasn’t charging the leisure battery. Went through the manual ruled out most things. Phoned the dealership and was told some one would phone me back ( still no call but the young lady who answered didn’t ask for my name.
Looked on YouTube for any pointers and there it was. The PDI team hadn’t fitted the fuse.
Basic error guys.
Apart from that pleased with the van 👍

Purchased a brand new caravan march…
Purchased a brand new caravan march 2025.£55000 . Due to sudden passing of my wife..and at the time of first service.asked the possibility of buying back.as was no further use to me .offered £20000 less.have now sold to independent caravan dealer for a lot more. Have requested a service book for new owners. Have been told should of been supplied with caravan. No show. Shocking service...
