Le site ne mentionne pas explicitement les frais de douane 🛃 et j’ai eu la mauvaise surprise d’avoir à régler 58€ pour une montre à 200€ et le fait sciemment en mettant en évidence la mention « free shopping » ! Et en petit sur la facture post achat la mention des frais de douane.
Dommage de ne pas faire preuve de transparence sur le site, cela vous éviterait des mauvaises appréciations inutilement et de vous concentrer sur la constitution d’une communauté de clients orientée produit et non frais de douane.
La réponse à ma réclamation par mail a certes fait l’objet d’une réponse mais générique et sans vraiment considérer ce sujet récurrent.

beim Surfen im Internet bin ich auf Ihre Spinnaker-Uhren aufmerksam geworden. Da meine Zahlungsdaten bereits auf meinem Smartphone gespeichert waren, wurde die Bestellung versehentlich sofort abgeschlossen, ohne dass eine zusätzliche Bestätigung meiner Bank erforderlich war.

Kurz danach habe ich festgestellt, dass dieselbe Uhr zum gleichen Preis auch bei Amazon erhältlich ist und dort bereits innerhalb von zwei Tagen geliefert werden konnte. Deshalb habe ich noch am selben Tag per E-Mail die Stornierung meiner Bestellung beantragt.

Leider habe ich auf meine Stornierungsanfrage keinerlei Antwort erhalten. Obwohl ich mich sofort nach der Bestellung gemeldet habe, hat sich niemand darum gekümmert.

Zusätzlich wurde die Uhr erst nach etwa zwei Wochen versendet. Darüber hinaus erhielt ich noch ein Schreiben vom Zoll und musste zusätzlich 73 € Zollgebühren bezahlen.

Ich bin von diesem Ablauf sehr enttäuscht und bitte Sie um eine Stellungnahme sowie um eine faire Lösung.

The watch came promptly, was nicely packaged and very attractive. The only small negative was the color of the dial - it wasn't quite as 'yellow' as it appeared online. But overall it is a great watch.

Very poor quality, it scratched in my first wear. I got fleuss GMT automatic, midnight wave colour, it was hilarious with sapphire glass when I saw it first but later, Despite having sapphire glass, it scratched easily. Also their customer service is terrible to contact and direct you. I’ve waited 10 days to get response first of all and then I was told to send the watch to honkong and if it’s my fault I’ll have to pay for the repair and if I don’t want it repaired I’ll have to pay the inspection fee and delivery. This is absolutely unacceptable and poor. It shouldn’t have been like this after I pay 400US dollar. Never trust again or buy anything from this watch brand

JULY 2026 UPDATE. Following discussion with the company, they did ship a replacement watch quickly and it arrived within a week, so initial negative feedback I gave, I've updated with an honest review of them after some email exchanges agreed to act faster - which they did.

The watch itself is lovely, it seems well built so time will tell as to it's reliability, but out the box it's lovely..so much so, I'm going to order another model of theirs, as I feel they do produce lovely niche collectable timepieces at very reasonable prices considering how much watches of these designs can cost from the big names.

I'm not reviewing the watch I'm reviewing the customer service and looking at the high number of negative reviews I'm wondering if I've made a mistake by relying on influencer reviews!

The issue is they sent me the wrong watch. Not the one I ordered, not even a different dial version but an entirely different model.

Whilst they are allowing a free return and exchange, the shipping label is economy and they say they need to inspect the watch before sending the replacement. What this means is likely weeks and weeks of waiting without a watch and will miss the exact occasion I purchased it for in the first place.

The error is there's and not mine. I feel once they have proof of my return, they should ship the correct model that I ordered. I don't think that's unreasonable in the circumstances.

Always a pleasure doing business with Spinnaker. Easy to order and shipping is fast and well packed. Toughest part is picking which watch from thier vast selection. All have been well built and finished pieces that are very attractive and current.

I have ordered two watches on line, To date I have not received them or received any communication about when I should expect them. I wish that shipping and communication was better

Poor quality as many others mentioned before. Return is very expensive because they want you to send the watch to Hong Kong. Sound like nonsense because the watch I received was shipped from US address. Absolutely not recommended.

I love the quality and look of the Spinnaker watches!!

Confermando le recensioni negative, una azienda che non ha rivenditori fisici in Europa e che vende esclusivamente online, togliendo al cliente la possibilità di visionare dal vivo l'orologio prima dell'acquisto, non può certo definirsi una azienda seria, competitiva, attenta al cliente. Ancora di più se si considera che per acquistare bisogna mettere in conto i dazi di entrata e tasse di sdoganamento (che ovviamente non vengono conteggiati al momento dell'acquisto). Se proprio vogliono continuare a vendere solo online (che è comunque una scelta quantomeno risibile), avessero almeno la decenza di istituire un hub di vendita all'interno dell'Unione Europa. Peccato, perché gli orologi sono anche simpatici. Ma a queste condizioni l'acquirente è completamente disincentivato all'acquisto.... e infatti alla fine sia io che altri abbiamo rinunciato all'acquisto proprio per evitare brutte sorprese. Non ne vale proprio la pena.

The Hull Riviera Automatic is a lovely-looking watch, but unfortunately the quality has been deeply disappointing.
The crystal cracked far more easily than I would have expected. When I looked into having it replaced, Spinnaker's recommended repair partner quoted me almost as much as I originally paid for the watch.
More recently, two numerals detached from the dial and had to be repaired. Now the trim around the date window has also come away.
A watch should be able to withstand normal everyday wear, and unfortunately this one has fallen well short of those expectations. While the design is excellent, the repeated quality issues raise serious concerns about durability and build quality. Based on my experience, I wouldn't touch another Spinnaker watch.

Well made limited edition watches at a reasonable price. I recently have bought several of the Popeye limited versions. Pretty cool and especially for the price.

I was unaware of all this negative feed back at the time I ordered my Spinnaker Fluess. Never the less, my watch arrived in good time and I'm over the moon with it. It has a heavy good quality case, a beautifully made dial, and the bezel? Well I just love it. The leather strap is so comfortable. So, all I can say is, so far so good. I wasnt retro charged any duty’s or taxes by FEDEX. I live in the UK.

Order SP-93338 Hass Automatic- 4ocean $500 Limited Edition. Poor quality. Case and band are cheaply made. Band flops as if it has been worn for years. Case material is thin with sharp edges. Not what you would expect from a "Limited Edition" nor is it a good representation of 4ocean. This is my first Spinnaker watch purchase, but based the quality of this purchase, I would not make that mistake a 2nd time. My recommendations and reviews will be 1-Star. Wish I could have rated it better.

I've had a Spinnaker Fleuss Special Limited Edition Mother of Pearl the bezel is without doubt the most fragile one I have ever come across in decades of watch collection, the bezel cracked when dropped, as it was a 30th anniversary gift, after sourcing a repair outlet, I paid a huge amount weeks later it fell off the sofa and cracked again, avoid boutique watches like Spinnaker, often reviews are freebies given to Youtubers, I'll stick with my bomb proof Seiko not a poor imitation.

I bought a watch from Spinnaker, a hull valiant help for heroes special edition. I loved this watch and wore it most of the time.
After 2.5 years i went to adjust the date/time and unscrewed the crown and the crown, pin and everything came out of the watch.
I contacted Spinnaker and sent this off as requested (tracked and insured). After 10 days I received a quote for the repair at a cost of £93.
I am no expert but the end of the pin looks damaged and looks to be a manufacturing defect.
I contacted spinnaker, by email as you can't phone them to discuss anything, and they stated that the warranty period is 2 years and as the watch is outside of the 2 year warranty I have to pay.
I have tried to argue this with them but this has been rejected 3 times and I am left asking for my watch to be returned or pay £93.
As much as I liked this watch, having to pay a third of the price of the watch cost to repair it plus the £15 to send it off it really isn't worth it.
If it was a user caused issue I would pay for the repair but as it appears to be a build problem I refuse.
What have I learnt from this? It looks nice, it feels nice and is the right price, however the follow up customer service is terrible. Surely an automatic watch sold luke these should last longer than 2.5 years.
Would i buy again from them? Not a chance. I would rather purchase from a company who value their customers and try to help them.
From my perspective it is a looks good but the quality inside (hidden) is not there.
I would avoid buying from them.
