Best scran everrrr sisss, clock ittttt

Heavy scran meal was valid enjoyed it

My son loves slim chickens and he has always been a fussy eater that doesn’t eat much. Great food.

Kyle was so friendly and gave me my food so quickly it was lovely to see.

Sona was great.

Very attentive and even took the high chair to the table for me!

I had a discount voucher and she applied it easily with no stress or questions.

Food was nice, would come again x

Absolutely delicious food. Chicken is always fresh. We're very naughty and eat here far too often 🤦‍♀️ The staff at the Colchester store are so friendly and helpful. The stamp scheme is better than any other fast food place out there. It's worth downloading the app to get the deals!

John Reed & Rachael are the most rudest restaurant manager I have ever come across.

I dine all over the UK and overseas for business and pleasure and John has to be the unwelcoming person with so much arrogance and ego that I would never return.

He doesn’t want to deal with customer feedback because as he stressed it’s too much to deal with.

Why do Slim Chickens Bluewater employ unprofessional personnel who lack customer service skills and tells his customers to go elsewhere.

good food good staff good food selections cooked well good service

Great service by Ash, in the Staines store. Chicken was slightly overcooked and quite oily… however great hospitality but food could’ve been better at that price.

Good experience, the food came on time and very quick.

Great staff, attention to detail.

5 stars!!!!
1 star-Food came fast
2 star-Tasted sooo good just like canes
3 stars-Homemade milkshake was the best milkshake I’ve ever had
4 stars-Great vibe in the restaurant
5 stars-Could eat it outside the dancing fountains at Lestiure square!

It’s a 1 because the quality at that price should be high. Chicken in the burger was overcooked and bland. Not sure how bland it was because it was drowning in not great BBQ sauce and there was no crunch to the coating. Disappointing soggy toast and drinks dispensers only had diet drinks

Grace was a helpful, lovely server. Loved the food. Will be back soon.

Ella Perth serving on the till brilliant customer service skills well mannered and very professional 10/10 customer service

I used to be a huge fan of Slims Chickens when it first opened and would normally order at least twice a month. Unfortunately, over the past few months the quality and service have declined so much that I feel I need to share my experience.

Most of my orders have been through Deliveroo, although I have also visited the restaurant in person. When eating in, things generally seem much better, but delivery orders have repeatedly gone wrong.

The problems started around November when I was sent normal wings instead of hot wings, along with chips that were cold and undercooked.

The first major issue was in December 2025. I ordered two meals with hot wings but didn’t receive any wings at all. On top of that the chips were cold and soggy and completely inedible. Deliveroo gave a small credit, which didn’t really cover the problem, so I left a negative review. Slims Chickens replied publicly to the review saying they were sorry and that a voucher had been attached so I could try them again. However, no voucher was ever sent. I tried contacting both Deliveroo and Slims to find out where it was, but never received any response.

After a short break I decided to give them another chance, but another order in February also went wrong. I ordered three meals but only two arrived, and most of the chips were stone cold again. The food quality and portion sizes also seemed noticeably worse. The hot wings were much smaller than they used to be and looked like normal wings that had seasoning thrown on at the last minute. The large chips I paid for looked more like a regular portion. Previously the boxes used to be packed so full the lid barely closed, now they feel half empty.

Last night’s order was the final straw. Once again the chips were cold and the “large” portion was clearly a regular. The wings again looked like normal wings with some spice added at the last minute rather than properly coated like they used to be. The taste also seemed off. At the time I thought it was just poor preparation, but the next day I ended up with stomach issues, which makes me question whether the food was fresh or properly cooked.

While writing this I checked my Deliveroo account and was shocked to see how much I’ve spent there over the past few months — around £700 through the app and roughly another £200 in store. I genuinely used to enjoy Slims Chickens, which is why this has been so disappointing.

Sadly, after repeated issues with cold food, missing items, smaller portions and declining quality, I won’t be ordering again. It’s frustrating to see what used to be a really good place go downhill like this.

Amazing service and friendly staff brilliant food just the best I recommend slim chicken

I love coming here, the staff with no exceptions greet you, offer help, keep restaurant and toilets clean .
The food is hot, fresh and so so tasty, the variety of sauces is amazing, not try all of them yet!!!!
