I live on the west coast and have ordered from Intershell one other time without any issues. However, my last order was placed about a week before labor day for delivery on the the Friday before the long weekend. Little Neck Clams were main course for a holiday cookout. My order has been stuck in the "Preparing your order" status ever since. I sent emails and have left a couple voicemails over the last week with zero reply from Intershell. I have since cancelled the order. Customer service appears to be non-existent with Intershell Seafoods. Too bad because I did enjoy the first purchase I made.

For a year, I’ve been looking for a source for whole belly clams. Finally found Intershell in Gloucester. They emailed me when the large whole belly clams were back in stock.I ordered 6 pounds and they were delivered as promised. We had some on Friday 08/28/2026, and they were fabulous. Dipped in heavy cream and battered in corn FLOWER then fried in lard at 365 degrees for 2 minutes. Patti made tartar sauce, had hers with onion rings. I had steak fries and coleslaw. At the moment there is an issue with billing, that I am hopeful will be resolved shortly. Their responsiveness is impressive. Wish I could attach pictures to this post.

Unfortunately the cod fish had several bones in it, after the forth bone it ruined my meal and I tossed it in the trash can

Intershell is awesome. The fish and the clams for frying are amazing. The taste of the clams brings back memories when I lived in Massachusetts now living in Florida just to have the opportunity to taste New England seafood once again is well appreciated. Everything is very fresh and the service is unbelievable in less than 24 hours I received my order of 8 pounds of frying clams and 4 pounds of grey soul. I can’t thank to shell for such awesome service this is my second time ordering from them. I will be ordering again and the prices are very fair again living in Florida for the last 15 years and missing that New England seafood taste thank you to Intershell ………… Five Stars ……..all day long.Just mention Rose who helped was awesome.👏

My frozen shucked whole belly clams tasted so fresh! Being a Massachusetts native,I was craving some fried clams and mine came out excellent! Great job Intershell!

I’ve been buying seafood from Intershell for many years even before they moved to the new location.
Everything and I mean everything has been great. Fresh tuna, salmon, eel, tobiko/ikura for sushi or cooked, oysters, fresh and frozen soft shell clams to fry to perfection.
Lobster and crab meat for pies.

We've been buying from Intershell for a few years mostly for personal but sometimes for client entertaining purposes. We've bought a variety of their products in both large and small quantities and have always found everything to be of outstanding quality. Shipping is as requested and packaged very well for the trip. My family will be ordering from them again.

Fantastic fish and seafood, utterly reliable delivery and quality, just terrific. My clients and vendors lose their minds with happiness when one of Intershell's packages arrives from me as a thank you. My freezer is always full with their shrimp, fillets, swordfish tips and steaks and of course their famous clam pie. Zero complaints, only compliments. Best in the business. Plus, they treat the workers really well.

I have gotten, Fish, Lobsters, clams and periwinkles from Intershell Seafood and everything has been flawless. You can't beat the delivery and freshness of the seafood from this company!!!!

I got the 22 chix lobsters and the frozen fried clams. I haven't had the clams yet but I will soon. The lobsters arrived in perfect condition, they got delivered on a Friday I put them in the fridge and cooked them on Saturday..they were fantastic! Tender and sweet just like I remember. The little taste of Massachusetts was so enjoyable, the whole family loved them. Top quality and they were packaged perfectly. You can bet I'll be ordering more seafood. Top notch customer service and the best quality, highly recommended. Great job thank you so much.

I've only ordered frying clams and they have been fantastic! I tried the fresh frying clams, which arrived the next day in perfect condition, and tasted great. Now I switched to the frozen frying clams, (shipping costs are a lot less) which arrive still frozen, and defrost easily in the frig. I have been very pleased with all that I have ordered and will be ordering again as soon as I finish the last container of clams. They are so good!!
