Sketchup Go is full of bugs, they make no effort to fix them, and they didnt notify me they were taking another payment. Much like e-Bay .. going down the pan. How does one contact them for a refund?

I would highly recommend going with anyone other than SketchUp. The app crashed and I’ve lost all of my projects. Years of projects and SketchUp responded by saying I should have had them published to trimble. They were saved on my hard drive. The account will also not connect to my pc now so waiting on a call back for that. I’ve used SketchUp for years and loved it. The tools are no longer functioning properly and the prices just go up. Hope helps anyone considering.

pour payer (parfois fait payer 2 fois le meme compte , la google SketchUp marche bien ) Mais pour utiliser la licence payer ....quelles galère . mon abonnement est valable encore 6 mois ....impossible de my connecter . mes plan sont "bloquer" , je suis prit en otage /volé .

Un outil facile à prendre en main, avec progression rapide. Mais inadapté à l'impression 3D. D'un côté les difficultés à concevoir des pièces de petites dimensions. Et de l'autre les micro défauts dont sont farcies les pièces et qui les rendent inimprimables. C'est l'outil qu'il ne faut surtout pas utiliser.

It was wonderful at one time....now your just a corporate mule with little to add. What a shame.

Pro too expensive now so I thought I'd try the web based version. Found it slow, inaccurate, almost unusable.

It is the worst tool today to create 3D. They have kind of free option which they deliberately make not work so they push you to purchase it. Finally when you do pay for it, is useless. Slow, depends on connection (not yours but their server) and you can't really draw anything quickly. Even Vectorworks works better. It is a disaster.

The cheapest paid version is the same as the free version (both web based and very very limited). I used Pro before but it is now just too expensive.

I started with SU 8 - it was fantastic, what a revolution in 3D CAD work (ACAD was horrible). It attracted a fantastically wide network of enthusiastic supporters who helped enormously with their free time and contributions to to add ons etc and Ruby development.
It sadly went through several owners (even Google looked so promising with maps and contour modelling). Since its been with Trimble its become a subscription model and it has aggressively deprecated all previous version <2017 (despite all that free development work by enthusiasts. Just a money grabbing scam AFAIK - so saddened by this, must be a million former users felt the same. Shame on Trimble over 90% 1star fb. It cant survive like that

The product is ok, the customer service is woefully poor. Makes me wonder if the company will be around for too much longer.

J'ai acheté une version Pro en 2019, puis quelques années après, SketchUp supprime des fonctionnalités comme la localisation ou le Warehouse...
Parfaite hypocrisie, soit disant pour maintenir la qualité.
Il faudrait remettre à nouveau la main au portefeuille pour utiliser des services déjà payés, c'est méprisant pour les clients.
Vouloir tirer une rente d'un produit sans être capable de se faire rémunérer pour des innovations discrédite la bonne image que SketchUp avait pu donner.

I would like to give a 0 rating. I contacted their UK representative regarding a subscription issue and was persuaded to buy an additional license with the promise of a refund for the initial purchase. However, after reviewing my bank statement, I noticed that I still needed to receive the promised refund. Despite being within the 14-day policy period when the additional license was sold, they have yet to issue the refund. This experience has been appalling. I strongly advise against using their services.

WATCH THE AUTO RENEWAL ////

I have been using SketchUp since 2002 so this is going to be a hard switch, but after this experience I just can’t use their product anymore. It all started because I needed to update my payment information. I tried and I kept getting notifications saying the update failed. I’m busy so I go about my business and within a day I get a threatening email saying my subscription will be cancelled soon if I don’t update my payment method. I submitted a service ticket because it still wasn’t working. I got a reply on the Friday from the service ticket but it only asked if I was still having the problem rather than providing any helpful information or resolution. I was out of town on Friday and wanted to work on resolving the issue on Monday. Saturday I got another threatening email saying my account was going to be canceled tomorrow, so I responded to the service ticket email and let them know that the issue is still there and that I am receiving threatening emails that my account will be cancelled. Arriving home Sunday I received an email notification that my service ticket was being closed! I am furious at that point! I responded with a screenshot showing the system failing to update my information and asking why they are closing the ticket when the issue isn’t resolved and I replied to the email yesterday? They clearly don’t want to maintain customers.

Please upgrade to Blender. Sketchup is no use, seriously. I had been trying to work on sketchup after my degree for freelance projects, but its been a mess. I found a great library of 3d assets, and now i am using it in blender for my freelance work that i do on upwork and fiver.

Take your money even without having the correct card details. I've had a new card issued since last year but yet they are still able to money after enough declined payments!! Not happy complete fraudsters!!!

Je tiens à exprimer ma déception et ma frustration concernant les pratiques de facturation de SketchUp. Il me semble que tout est conçu pour rendre la résiliation extrêmement difficile. Cela me donne l'impression que l'entreprise n'agit pas de manière honnête. Face à cette expérience, je conseille vivement à tous ceux qui envisagent cette application d'envisager d'autres alternatives disponibles sur le marché, qui respectent mieux les droits et la facilité de gestion pour les utilisateurs.

Took money from my account when I cancelled with them two years ago, sent proof they took the money and refused to give it back. Scammers, and fraudsters

Sketchup FREE au prix de Sketchup PRO, depuis 3 années consécutives. Je pratique tous les jours de façon basic pour mon travail de décorateur.
C’est en voulant utiliser mon IPAD que je me suis rendu à l’évidence que mon accès à Sketchup PRO n’existait pas.
Le status de mes produits sur mon compte personnel : « Sketchup FREE »
J’ai contacter le support de trimble, qui me transfert à une équipe technique qui ajoute PRO sur la liste de mes produits, et à présent j’ai 2 produits : FREE & PRO.

Comme j’estime que j’ai été abusé en payant une version PRO, tout en bénéficiant que de la version GRATUITE depuis 3 ans, je demande un geste commercial, tel qu’un remboursement au prorata entre ces 2 version, ou une extension d’1 an…, voir autre chose à leur initiative ( on peut rêver).

Sketchup me répond que c’est de ma faute, et que la version PRO était toujours devant mon nez et c’est moi qui ne l’aie pas activée…, ce qui est FAUX !

La vérité est que TRIMBLE et SKETCHUP peuvent vous faire payer pour un service, mais peut ne pas vous connecter à ce service.

Ces companies ont un personnel qui est payé pour affirmer à sa clientèle d’architectes, designers, paysagistes…, qu’ils ne savent pas naviguer sur leur ordinateur et que c’est de leur faute si un tel souci se produit.

After using Revit I found Sketch Up shockingly under advanced and ETREMELY TIME CONSUMING. Things that are quick and easy in Revit are difficult and take ages on sketch up. Have been using it for a few months now, and still think what I thought from the beginning: why is Sketch Up still being used when there are far quicker and more advanced programs like Revit??
