Poor UX and customer support
I followed the step-by-step guide provided by the school to confirm my student status. I submitted all the required documents, and yet it said "the documents are insufficient" blocking me from submitting the documents for another 24 hours. Half of the cohort faces the same issue, while the other half got accepted with the same set of documents! SheerID is slow with responses. You need to wait for days - I'm still waiting. The classes have already started but we can't use the software! The user experience is not smooth and the customer support process is unhelpful in resolving issues quickly. If you can avoid this service, or brace yourself to spend hours trying to upload your documents.
Dealing with humans is always better
The experience with the AI component was absolute torture. As soon as I was out through to a human in customer care the issue was resolved immediately. Excellent real person customer service.

However when i heard from someone that complain your problem to SheerID they will solve your problem
After complaining my problem SheerID team take action and review again my case, and this time my verification was successful on student club
Now I'm pretty sure this will help me to manage my item's as an student

Sheer ID "support" Doesn't Care About You
The Sheer ID support team is quite useless. I had trouble verifying my student status through Sheer ID and received only vague errors about how "X didn't work", etc. I contacted the Sheer ID support team and received a generic message that I've seen on online forums word for word used for other people that said:
“We were unable to process your verification request. While we can’t offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please ensure all information submitted is accurate and meets the eligibility criteria for future attempts. Your ticket has now been permanently closed.”
There was no attempt to communicate the problem or help me solve it in any way or ask for more information or even ask me to try again. It was the most useless support experience I have ever had.

This is an ID Verification company that CAN'T VERIFY ID's.
I applied for a Home Depot Military Discount, since they can't do that at the stores even though A LOCAL RESTAURANT can.
Now, I'm not dogging on any of the HUMAN staff, I'm digging on the fact that their AUTOMATED SYSTEM cannot verify if people are who they say they are. I tried do this twice, and twice, the AUTOMATED SYSTEM of the ID VERIFICATION COMPANY could NOT ID me, rejected my discount application, and sent me a no explanation email as to why I was denied.
Interestingly, they are SO INUNDATED with failed verification requests, they have a 2-3 day wait to communicate with a live agent.
I have some suggestions:
1) FIX. YOUR. AUTOMATED. SERVICE.
2) Hire hackers. They don't seem to have this issue.
3) Just stick to HUMAN AGENTS who will get the verification done the first time without issue.
This rant is aimed ENTIRELY on the cheap ass company, and it's broken ID verification automated program, not on ANY employee or human agent.

Although I didn't really understand why my documentation was originally rejected, SheerID immediately verified it and relayed that information to the requesting company. The verification process was seamless after that.

Extremely frustrating experience with SheerID.
I was declined verification due to “lululemon guidelines,” yet lululemon directs you to SheerID. The result is an endless loop where no one takes ownership or applies any critical thinking to resolve the issue.
SheerID hides behind being a “third-party verification service” and refuses to consider context, provide clarification, or offer any pathway forward beyond a scripted response. Lululemon, in turn, relies on SheerID and won’t intervene.
The process feels entirely automated, inflexible, and devoid of real customer support. Josh Z from SheerID Verification Support simply repeated policy language rather than attempting to assist with an actual solution.
If a program is marketed as inclusive, the verification process should involve real humans empowered to think beyond a rigid checklist. As it stands, this is bureaucracy at its worst.
Company is run by one person who is automating everything
So let me start from the beginning, the company is extremely shady; they don't have a number you can call, their customer support is trash, and is more than likely being run by 1-5 people who are probably using a bunch of automation. Personally I was "helped" by someone named "Bhaswati M." and what it looks like they're extremely unhelpful(I've seen a few responses with this person's name). You can send real, verified documents, whether that be transcripts, IDs, Unedited screenshots, etc., and this company will send you a message stating, "The document is insufficient for establishing eligibility for this offer.".
I think it's pretty obvious that real people are not working at this place "24/7/365" because if they did x(Give me a logical reason.) I don't know if it's because this is an Indian owned company or what, but this is honestly pretty pathetic.
If I could give a rating of 0 stars, I WOULD.
