I gave them all the documents I had to give to prove student ID, and even when I went to email to get a manual verification, they still said their systems were unable to verify it, confirming they don't look at it, they just put it in a system. The starting AI is already frustrating enough.

Do not use these scammers, They will take your money and send you fake tracking information. I ordered 3 pairs of shorts 6 weeks ago and when I tracked my order it said they had been delivered. We have not received them and now they do not answer my email or send refund. Total scammers be warned.

They verified me but the student discount won’t apply. Of course their customer support team is useless and only tells me to reach out to YouTube. You already know YouTube says that their discount system is completely managed by sheerID so I have to go through them. So now I’m stuck paying like 16$ a month.

Have been very displeased with sheerid. Trying to get student Spotify premium but the requirements for documents are ridiculous so everything gets rejected. No documents I have include my name, school name, school url, current date and time, etc. I have reached out to customer support and provided official financial statement and school id and they keep rejecting me. This has taken hours and has been very frustrating and I still have not been approved and so will continue to lose more money to Spotify until they (hopefully) get this fixed. They need to make a system that just looks at school enrollment. How hard can that be?

They used to be one of the best. Ever since they moved to AI reviews and handling AI responses over email, they have been awful. I contacted about getting more information regarding verification for a first responders discount they responded with a generic response of "due to the nature of our platform we are unable to disclose any further information". Tried escalating the issue was met with the exact same generic response by a so called Sr. ranking employee.

What is the point of "customer support" if they are unable to do anything?

If there had been a rating option below zero, I'd be rating this service like -10. I have never had such an awful experience with any verification apps. I am a verified student with 3 organisations as of now. I have wasted one hour of my life trying to verify my student memberships, etc., in various ways. I tried to use everything from my UNI Days ID, payment confirmations, all contracts, and screenshots, in different formats. Nothing worked. Can't remember if I have ever been so disappointed with a service in my life..

BEWARE: A company this big not having live help is unheard of. You have to leave a message and hope they get back to you. What a freaking joke.

Sending the requested documents fails, and bot email is generated asking for those same documents again. This is a very effective way to scare away potential customers

This is a complete scam and I wish companies would stop using it. They will verify you and then the discount will not be applied and they will tell you it’s the brand’s fault and the brand will tell you it’s sheer ID’s fault.

Terible company, bad complaint handling, kept sending me back and forward to apple who of couse sent me back to sheer. issues never resolved and e mails not answered.

Awful customer service. Customer service agent is giving AI like answers and not explaining the issue. Also giving a saucy response to my emails. Not impressed.

Sheer id garbage! they verified me using the same documentation I'm using now and they keep turning me down. Not to mention other things I tried verifying through them that got turned down for documentation reasons. The documentation has everything that they are asking for a listed. GARBAGE!!!! How does a inconsistent company like this even exist?

Fox Nation has an offer for veterans to get a free year of Fox nation. I am a veteran but they've hired SheerID to do their verifications and SheerID discriminates against women who get married and have a name change because of it. Despite uploading my valid DD214, marriage certificate and current driver's license showing the name change I'm not allowed to take advantage of this offer...because I'm a woman. I've contacted both SheerID support and Fox Nation support to no avail. This is advertising fraud on the part of Fox Nation since they have clearly hired a company that discriminates against women who have served their country. And I've been told by Fox Nation that I will just not be able to take advantage of this limited-time offer...because I am a woman who got married after my military service during the Vietnam era. Fox refuses to override SheerID's poor management and disgusting malfeasance and obvious discrimination of women and they have told me I'm just out of luck. This is just unconscionable to discriminate against women who have served our nation in this day and age, and on Memorial Day no less!

Trash company when verifying student ID. Hassle, after hassle, with little to no support or supporting reasoning. Would not recommend.

Not able to complete the process after submitting my documents one time and not completing the process thus they state i have tried too many times. Contacted them and non responsive.

WHAT A JOKE

Sheer ID is the most difficult and onerous process for verification that typically requests additional information, even when the same information has already been provided. This is especially true for verification for military discount with Nike. I don't even buy from Nike.com anymore, because Sheer most often will ask for documents that have been submitted countless time previously, and it takes sometimes days to get the promo code from Sheer. Not worth my time; every other verification process I've used is much better and user friendly. Its only "sheer" frustration when you want to take advantage of a discount offered when Sheer ID processes your verification. It's also an insult to veterans and shameful to those who served.
