Once ordered (even accidentally), can’t cancel.
I ordered an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner on Sharper Image. There was an upsell for cleaning tablets after the sale was completed - I clicked on the tablets picture to see more info and the sale for them was immediately processed but didn’t send me any sale info or to a sale processed screen. Three minutes later I get a new email citing the total for the tablets and the cleaner. Once I got the email I immediately did a chat to have the tablets cancelled and was informed that orders are placed immediately but they’d send an urgent email to processing to attempt to stop the upsell item. I was informed the processing team would send me an email confirming or denying the upsell cancel, and if denied I could return the item, and would be refunded the price minus shipping fees (shipping fees were exorbitant as well).
I get an email two hours later. All the email shows is an added set of tablets which is confusing. I see no additional sales transaction for another set of tablets, so it’s a tremendously unclear way of informing me the upsell status stands, I believe.
Essentially, I will never buy anything from Shaper Image again. They used to be a great business but this was purposely confusing and needlessly misleading regarding the cancellation attempt and the ridiculous cancellation (?) email.

Unreliable delivery
I ordered two items that were indicated to be in stock. Upon ordering, these items were stuck in 'preparing for shipping' for nearly a week. I requested Sharper Image provide an update on shipping which I never received.

It was fast and easy to order. I received a catalog at home. I knew exactly what part numbers I wanted to order. I went online and ordered everything! I put a big dent in my Christmas shopping and by the time I got home from work, I got a notification that my order is on its way. How easy was that???
I haven’t received my order yet, so I can’t speak to how it arrived, and if what I received was what I ordered, but based on past ordering experience, I’m not anticipating any problems!
