Very unprofessional experience. A viewing was agreed upon and confirmed on the same day, but no one showed up. Multiple phone calls went unanswered, and emails were ignored. No explanation was ever provided.

Extremely poor service from Robinson Jackson Dartford. I waited to view a property for weeks, calls were unanswered ,and information kept changing. On the day of the confirmed viewing, I was told at the last minute that property was no longer available. Totally unprofessional and waste f time
Worst rental service ever!
Worst ever service I have received from any organisation. Pure incompetence, to say the least. Rented a property with them and at move in, property was at best filthy. This was after they lied during the viewing that the property would be painted and cleaned. Heating in the home not working. Made them aware that I have 3 children with me at the time, they didn’t even care. Don’t use them if you don’t want heartache. Regrets all the way. Never been so stressed in my life.
Very poor customer service from Tippi Prew at Robinson Jackson
Despite us already having a mortgage in principle, she repeatedly pressured us to use their in-house mortgage services. She stated that without a mortgage in principle we would not be allowed to view the property, even though we had already provided an email from our independent mortgage adviser confirming how much we could borrow. Her approach was unprofessional and made the experience very uncomfortable.
Excellent estate agents
We recently bought a house through the Belvedere branch of Robinson Jackson. The sales team were very accommodating, showing and reshowing the house to us and their sales negotiators, especially Charlie Greenway, were excellent at promptly answering all our questions (even the possibility daft ones). It was a smoth transaction and tgey even negotiated to move up the move-in date by a few weekd. Overall, I would highly recommend Robinson Jackson as estate agents.

Went to purchase a house first time told I was a preferred buyer then suddenly seller went with someone else the estate agents involved were not transparent to the point of lying on occasions I do not recommend this company they have a bad reputation amongst other agents

I especially appreciate Terri from the progressions team with how she kept me informed every step of the way. Her quick responses to all my questions, and her unwavering professionalism, and calm and steady guidance made a world of difference.

I had a very bad experience with this agency, I applied for a property, they sent me a rental form, i fill all and transfer holding deposit . 4 days passed and they told me absolutely nothing, then I called and they said Sorry but we stopped your renting process. The WORSE I lost money they Don't want to return holding deposit 480£ If I didn't call they weren't going to let me know, precious time for me, because during this time other agencies called me to view other houses, and I refused, thinking that we would be accepted. I don't understand why these lies and give useless promise why don't they tell me the reality, that you were refused and the reason why? ...as I said, very bad experience with this unprofessional and cerles Orpington agency, not serious. DON'T RECOMMEND they can let you down easily !!!

Absolutely Outstanding – A Dream First-Time Buyer Experience!
As a first-time buyer, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Robinson Michael & Jackson Walderslade. From day one, Harry Thomas and Dallas Haley went above and beyond anything I expected. We never had to go house hunting — Harry proactively reached out with details and photos of a beautiful property. That level of personal care and initiative is incredibly rare.
He arranged a private viewing almost immediately and made the entire process feel smooth, stress-free, and genuinely exciting. Both Harry and Dallas were available at every stage, always happy to answer questions and offer guidance — whether it was arranging viewings, chasing updates, or giving us honest advice when we needed it most.

Frustrating offer confirmation form
The viewings have all gone well and everyone seems happy, but when it comes to making an offer, there's a form that takes quite a bit of time to complete. It seems like only Robinson and Jackson require this—other agents usually just handle offers through a simple email exchange.
I even spoke to someone at the agency to see if there was an alternative way to submit the offer, but they confirmed that using the form is their standard procedure. Honestly, I find it a bit frustrating—especially considering that most agents these days already have all the key information from buyers. Filling out the form felt unnecessarily time-consuming.
I might even pray that the next property I’m interested in isn’t listed with them!

We’ve had a horrendous experience with Robinson Jackson and would recommend avoiding at all costs. As first time landlords, we have had a serious issue with our tenant (including theft, crime & missed rental payments) and Robinson Jackson have done nothing to protect us as landlords. Our property was left destroyed, we are very out of pocket (even with insurance) and months down the line, Robinson Jackson continuously fail us. You never get a response, and when you do it’s often wrong or missing vital information. Would literally go with any other estate agent over them.

After giving them specific instruction not to contact a certain family member they went against my wishes and did so causing unnecessary issues and costing me money. One agent left my property door unlocked for weeks after a viewing.
They failed to sell the property and I’m relieved to be rid of them.

I had a very bad experience with this agency, I applied for a property, they sent me a rental form, they told me I would receive an answer in 2-4 business days, 4 days passed and they told me absolutely nothing, then I called and they said that the owner had gone private (a lie), if I didn't call they weren't going to let me know, precious time for me, because during this time other agencies called me to view other houses, and I refused, thinking that we would be accepted, and after a few days when I go to the site, I still see the property there, and even more, other new pictures, so it's clear that it was a lie on their part, that the owner had gone private, I don't understand why these lies, why don't they tell me the reality, that you were refused and the reason why? ...as I said, very bad experience with them, not serious.
ROBINSON JACKSON Contributing to the poor living conditions in the UK
I'm a tenant being affected by an ongoing issue with drainage that has come through the ceiling and affected my laptop and 2 couches. It's been going on since August 2024 and property management hasn't been in touch to address repairs or replace damaged items. Been dealing with a manager Steve Thompson who's the person who left the 5 star review BTW so their rating is manipulated. He confirmed that his staff made no notes of the issue on the 20th February when the leak appeared on 11th August 24. These people will take money from landlords but provide minimal support and management services, and when there's an issue they waste time and effort causing more stress with idiotic sarcastic comments rather than resolve the issue, and have the nerve to get defensive when you mention incompetence is being displayed rather than doing the professional thing and assist with resolving the issue. This company needs to be liquidated or disbanded, if it chooses to stay active then they need to learn English, and understand their responsibilities and liabilities. Also, if they inform you that you need to claim on your contents insurance, their landlord is liable in my instance and their landlords insurance should be able to replace my items as they and the landlord are liable. What a joke, they can't even pass on basic information for God's sake, even a potato has more use than those I've dealt with, at least a potato has the potential to power a light bulb, these lot probably aren't even fit for fertiliser or manure.

Robinson Michael and Jackson handled the management of my flat in Northfleet for over 2 years. The problems started when I was trying to sell the flat. The tenant was given notice to vacate in October 2024 and didn’t do so until the middle of November unfortunately the prospective buyer fell through. Also they changed me to being the water account holder before the previous tenant left the property in the middle of November. Also they were slow in chasing up rental payments for the flat on the due date they were due to be paid.

I had a difficult experience with the Belvedere branch.
I found a buyer with them, and my house was taken off the market at the end of March 2024 while the mortgage application was being done. I was told on 30 April that the application was unsuccessful. However I was informed by the buyers directly that the result of the application was known on 17 April, and that RJ were informed immediately. They sent me the relevant emails.
I asked RJ three times (George Bontof, Charlie Greenaway and Amanda Wade) prior to 30 April if they had heard about the application and Bontof and Greenaway lied to me by telling me that they had not, and Amanda ignored my question. I phoned the branch towards the end of the month and someone else answered. I asked about the application and the person who answered was away for a long time and sounded very embarrassed when he came back and said that they hadn't heard yet. Bontof is the manager and apparently he told his staff to lie to me.
I was told that the buyers did not get the mortgage because the husband had been in the UK for less than 2 years. I questioned that as clearly they would not have received an agreement in principle if they did not meet the lender's criteria, and the lender would not have done a survey. I phoned the lender to check this. RJ did not answer my question and instead told me something else that was untrue, i.e. that the reason was because of a problem with the husband's visa.
Prior to the buyers making the application I asked RJ in writing to make sure that the lender was one who would lend on ex-Council houses in low ownership blocks, as I already had a previous sale fall through because a buyer could not get a mortgage. At the valuation, Bontof had said that they had a 'panel' of specialist lenders who would lend on this type of house.
I also asked Bontof on the phone about this. He said that they couldn't approach a specialist lender until they had a definite sale figure but would make sure that they found a suitable lender after that. I said that they were supposed to check in advance whether a buyer was able to get a mortgage but he became upset by me challenging him and began to speak in a high pitched, squeaky voice so I just had to leave it.
They did not ensure a suitable lender and instead allowed the buyers to apply to their original lender, which the surveyor told me had a known policy of not giving mortgages for houses like mine. Indeed the buyers told me that the application was refused because of the house being ex-Council in a low ownership block, contrary to what I was told about the reason being a problem with the husband's visa.
My house was off the market for the whole of April, when there was never any chance of the buyer's mortgage application being successful. I told Bontof what the surveyor had said about the lender's policy and he just said 'It'll be OK' and put the phone down.
They negotiated with the buyers about the sale price without even consulting me, and then Bontof spoke to me in a manner which I found upsetting as it verged on being aggressive.
He basically told me that I had to accept what they offered because if I had been going to get other offers I would have had them by now. That was not true, as of course new people can start to look for a property all the time.
They ignored a lot of emails that I sent.
No memo of sale was produced.
A board was only put up a long time after the house went on the market.
They overvalued the house and I had to ask for the price to be lowered after only 2 weeks.
The way that Bontof pretended to be nice when he valued the property then, once I had signed up for 16 weeks, behaved in a very different manner, was a truly horrible thing to experience.
When I made a complaint (after I found out about the lies) they behaved like a child having a tantrum and took my house off the market immediately. Two recent viewers had said that they were going to offer and I was in the process of arranging a viewing for the next weekend. So they were willing to risk losing a fee of 1,000s of pounds just to cause me inconvenience.
After first discovering about the lies etc, I tried to obtain some help from one of the partners, James Corven, in accordance with their complaints procedure. Instead of helping he forwarded my message to Bontof, who I was complaining about.
Later, I made a formal complaint to him. He responded in a very rude way and just ignored all the points and said that he agreed with Bontof's response, which didn't make sense as all Bontof did was take my house off the market.
He sent me some extraordinary emails.
Then another partner called Jack called me and said 'What is it you want from us?' He didn't seem to understand that if a person makes a complaint they want to get a response.
Finally, they recommended a really terrible solicitor, which I used when I finally sold a year later.
