Redweek has been great to work through…

Redweek has been great to work through as a Renter of Vacation Resorts across the country. I can count on them to provide all the security and protection we need at a fair price. I highly recommend.

Paid me with a worthless paper check which the banks won’t accept because it had no routing number on it. Redweek leaves you in the red

Poor room with no view and noise

I have rented from RedWeek many times including previous stays at the Marriott Grande Ocean in HHI and had a good experience. The last stay was not a good experience. The room was on the 2nd floor with a poor view. The room was directly across from the elevator and the garbage receptable. Every time the elevator operated, we could hear the noise in the bedroom. Every time someone dumped their garbage, we heard that noise. My Marriott profile states I want a room on a high floor away from the elevator. That was not honored. Will think twice before using RedWeek again! Not what is expected from RedWeek.

While RedWeek is able to verify key details such as unit size, view category, and resort amenities, the exact unit placement (including floor level or proximity to elevators and service areas) is assigned by the resort at check-in.

Guests are always welcome to include preferences, such as higher floors or quieter locations, and we do encourage owners to note these requests when possible. However, as with most resorts, these requests cannot be guaranteed and are fulfilled based on availability at the time of arrival.

We’re sorry this particular room placement detracted from your experience. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll continue working to ensure expectations around room assignments are as clear as possible for future bookings.

I have been with Redweek for many years…

I have been with Redweek for many years and they provide easy access in making a selection or purchase. They can be trusted to make sure that your travel experience is 100 percent guaranteed from beginning to end. I gave them a 4 star rating because of an incident I experienced with a Marriott property. A lot of things have changed which is not a fault of Redweek . Customer service could use some improvement. Overall, I will always use Redweek when I travel!

Better than nothing

Redweek has become the dominant timeshare owner rental management website. From the perspective that there is more availability on this site and MOST transactions function smoothly, they are good. Also, their website is fairly easy to use, you just have to pay for a membership.

But most everything else is bad.

1) We used to only have to paybfor a membership, then we could rent out what we own, or rent from am owner. Now a renter has to ALSO pay an additional 9-10% commission for each rental AND eachbowner must pay $99 to $200 to list PLUS an additional fee when a rental is realized. Seriously?

2) For all these fees, Redweek claim they provide full service and verify the owner reservations, but four times now after paying to rent and also after sending them a preliminary message before agreeing to pay, they have cancelled the reservations because they weren't available, or admitted that the verified reservation was in fact incorrect. And when they do this, the only option is a full refund. That is no way to conduct business when you are the one making money and make mistakes. As a result, I do my best to rent elsewhere first when possible.

3) They used to contact owners when I offered to pay less. Now they send an email saying I will receive an additional email where I cannclick a link to then again submit my offer. Really? Two emails? And guess what? The email with the link never arrives. NEVER. I have to log into my account and view the Inbox there in order to see the message with the link. What an inconvenience.

4) All they will do is get the guest name added to the reservations. They won't help get any guest requests added even if this is allowed by the timeshare company, especially in the case of Marriott timeshares where Marriott sends an email 3 to 4 weeks in advance to the owners but not to the guests. Also in the case of Marriott, owners can now include the guest Bonvoy number in the reservation. This is especially helpful for guests. But RW has repeatedly failed to enable this and I have to separately call Marriott later.

Redweek was great to serve as a…

Redweek was great to serve as a go-between. I was able to place a "bid" on a property. I didn't realize this was possible. It worked out great.
