Pleasantly surprised!
I had to change my rail ticket from Leeds to Kings Cross for an earlier time. I expected a long wait for acknowledgment and refund, which seems quite the norm these days, however was acknowledged within 24 hrs and a refund within the next 3 days. Very pleasantly surprised.Thank you.

Due to unforeseen medical emergency…
Due to unforeseen medical emergency tickets needed to be cancelled. The procedure to do so was clearly advised and easy to administer. The email confirming the refund was quick, friendly and had the personal touch which, due to the nature of why we had to cancel, was a nice to receive. Super service.

We couldn’t go on our trip to Liverpool…
We couldn’t go on our trip to Liverpool as there was a train strike on the day we were heading home. So I put in a refund email and after a few emails asking for information all of our tickets were refunded. Excellent communication, knowledgeable people, fabulous.

Really great customer service. Applied for a refund for an abandoned journey following train cancellation and assumed it would take forever. Received a reply straight away and my refund was processed within a couple of hours. Thank you!

Refund request due to rail strike action
We had purchased rail tickets in advance but unfortunately one of our travel days is now a strike day.
The Customer Support team were so helpful in giving advice about our options and quick to respond to my emails.
We decided to request a refund. We were given simple and clear instructions via a personal email and the refund was confirmed within 24hours. We had not used this company before but we would definitely recommend them and have no hesitation in using them again.

Regarding your strike refund, we would like to clarify that manual verification is necessary and the "Manage My Booking" feature cannot be used for this purpose. We have responded to your email today, the first working day after you contacted us on Saturday.
We would also like to inform you that our records indicate that the tickets in question were scanned and used. We kindly request further clarification and evidence regarding your claim. We remain committed to resolving this matter and appreciate your cooperation.

My ticket number is J3L7388X. I also purchased another ticket from you for my 1st journey from Birmingham to York 7LHXGFTC. I am a regular customer and i am totally disgusted with the service i received were you made me stranded and destitute, unsafe and vulnerable!!! I could of been raped and murdered!!! YOU DO NOT CARE!!!!!! ALL they care about is GREED and ripping off the customer!!!!! I was forced to pay a Thornaby taxi firm to take me all the way to Hartlepool from Thornaby which cost me an additional £20.00 and bus fare from Hartlepool to my location. and obviously i was not able to use the train i purchased from Thornaby to Hartlepool as the York to Thornaby train was 15 minutes late which made me miss my connection on the Thornaby to Hartlepool train, i have proof of taxi fares and the bus tickets when you require them, i will await your reply on this matter!!! I have now reported you to resolver also. YOU ARE A DISGRACE AND HAVE NO SHAME WHATSOEVER!!!!! I want my refunds for taxi and train and the bus i had to pay out because of your Incompetence and Greed!!!!!!! You have extremely unhappy Customer Reviews on here alone!!! THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES!!!!! I have all of the proof and sent you all of the proof but you are trying to fob me off and declining me!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!

Update: We appreciate the ongoing correspondence and amendments to your review, Catherine. We would like to emphasise once again that we cannot accept liability for disruptions and it is necessary for you to contact the train company directly to pursue any claims. It is important to differentiate between a refund and a compensation.
We have already refunded your ticket as it was not used for travel. For any additional claims and out-of-pocket expenses, we kindly request that you approach the relevant Train Operating Company (TOC) responsible for the cancellation. We have no control over the running of trains, and this issue is in no way related to greed, so we kindly ask you to refrain from fabricating stories. We have provided all the necessary information on multiple occasions. To ensure your claim is considered, it is crucial that you submit it to the TOC within 28 days. Unfortunately, using vulgar language in emails does not aid in handling compensation matters, as we do not have the authority to handle such claims.

Excellent service
I always book train tickets with Raileasy as they do such great prices. On this occasion I needed to amend my booked return time and the process was so easy. I rebooked the journey and a refund on my original tickets was processed very quickly afterwards. Great prices and great service!

Satisfied Raileasy travelers strikes meant that we'd miss…
The coming strikes meant that we'd miss out on half of our weeks holiday..and when I approached Raileasy I didn't expect a prompt reply as they'd be so many queries like ours..but our problem was dealt with speedily over the next few days and e are now travelling a day earlier with the same tickets. Your employee kept us informed and my emails were answered promptly
