I am extremely irritated by a Purina rep who suggested my cat was unwell because she didn't want to eat one of the four food varieties from their Gourmet cat food box that retails at over £16.00 in your local supermarket. Who writes this complete tosh?
"I am of course very pleased to hear that your little one is very well, (BTW she said she might be potentially ill?!) "...and otherwise enjoying her food. If Turkey is perhaps no longer one of her preferred flavours, we do have a variety of Fish-based options from within the Gourmet Perle range, which may be more suited to her with avoidance of any wastage if she enjoys these options."(IS THIS IRONY? IS THE DIRECTOR/CEO NOT AWARE OF A COST OF LIVING ISSUE FOR OUR COMMUNITIES?). This rep has suggested other options form this company even when I said I am now looking elsewhere. How is that Director/CEO still in-situ with this nonsense being sent to customers?

In the last few months it’s been a waste of cat food after waste of cat food. My cats don’t want to eat Felix anymore, they don’t even seem to like the smell of it. I must honestly say that I sometimes feel like getting sick of the smell too. It’s really disgusting at the moment, pity because my cats always liked Felix and they have a vast range of Jelly flavours. Whatever Purina has done they should rethink what they’re providing to our pets!!!! Shocking that they think it’s okay.

This company has no morals no customer service and they do not care one iota for the customers wouldn’t recommend this company to a dead person never mind alive one so full of crap be going to trading standards on Monday been two weeks and still waiting on a refund after being told several times it was being done so full of bull it’s unreal not a good company to deal with

First there were only a few choices as many were out of stock.
Second I paid for next day delivery but didn't receive box till around 4pm the day after I expected it.
I have only used Purina direct about 6 times and on two occasions now I've had problems with late deliveries. Lastly, this latest batch appears to be a different recipe and neither cat will touch the chicken with green beans in jelly or chicken in gravy.
I'll buy elsewhere from now on Purina!

Always tried to give my kitty the best and used to feed him Purina dry food BUT over the last 6 weeks after buying a fresh bag he has been constantly throwing up after a feed, I'm talking like twice a day so obviously worried as I thought there might be something seriously wrong. I decided to put him back on Applaws as he never had a problem before and from his first feed his vomiting has stopped completely. Don't know what Purina has done but will NEVER buy their products again and I have warned my local pet shop to be aware of the problem. After reading other similar comments this stuff needs to be taken off the shelves.

First you stop producing " Gourmet gold melting heart with chicken" (85 grams) Gravy in the middle and replace it with "Gourmet gold revelations with chicken" Gravy on top.
I can understand changing products but what I fail to understand is that these products are practically the same. The meat and animal derivatives has increased by 1% ( gravy on top - gravy in the middle) and not only has the price gone up but the can has reduced in size from 85g to 57g that is what I call taking the proverbial. I will find alternative food for my cat and will never buy ANY product owned or produced by Purina.

This is the only cat food (MEAT SELECTION 😽) will eat they enjoy it as they don't leave one scrap in their bowls Buster is a very fussy eater so was over the moon when I found something he would eat and enjoy well done Felix

I cannot believe what I'm reading here. I bought a bag of Purina One Turkey and Rice and it started to stink after a couple of days. So I went online to see what I can do about it and low an behold... nothing. Seems like I'm not the only one affected with this brands quality of food. I think I know now why two of my cats are dead and third one throwing up every time he gets a bite. I still have the food and will find out if I can send it to a lab for testing. And make some noise! I honestly am fed up at this stage. Looking for food replacement will be a nightmare! DO NOT BUY PURINA PRODUCTS!!!!

I usually buy Purina gourmet for our cats which was usually sold for at £1.85 at Tesco and B and M. However, last week I was shocked to see that you had increased the price by a whopping 40p to £2.25. As a senior citizen I will no longer be able to afford to buy your product. Why the big increase in pet food?

Brought a new range out again but this time only 75g per pouch. What a rip off . You need up to 4 pouches per day . Far too expensive. Please stop money pinching.

Purina putting tomatoes parsnip and spinach plus other harmful things to cats in Cat food and in high contents, they cannot confirm if the tomatoes are ripe and cannot guarantee if any unripe, stalk or leaves of tomato got into cat food, this us HIGHLY TOXIC, cannot guarantee the parsnips is from the none poisionus plant variety, also do not state do not give spinach to animals that have had history if bladder stones crystals etc as high oxalate in spinach can cause this. All please write urgently to E.M.A, ( European medicine association who pass food ,supplements medication as safe they were shocked to find out semintra/ telmisartan has 2 lots of lethal acid in it thats killing our animals but passed that as safe!! ) to get this crap thats harming our animals banned. Would not be surprised if they put chocolate in too as seem to like poisioning our animals with everything toxic, we all need to Demand that pet food and products are properly checked and regulated for safety. Who do we demand to im trying to find out as e.m.a clueless, but still purina needs reporting.

Something seriously needs to be done about how many cats are being sick from Purina foods! We fed our cats Purina Bifensis sensitive for about 3 years. In the beginning it was fine, but for around the last year our cats started vomiting after eating their dry food (the aforementioned range) we couldn't work out why they were being sick and never even thought it was the food as it had been okay. My mum had come to stay and seen that they had thrown up after a meal and said when she fed her cats the same food, they were vomiting too so she stopped it immediately and they were fine after that. We immediately changed to a new brand, low and behold the vomiting stopped! That was 3 weeks ago. My partner decided to try them with the Purina again as we had a small amount left over, all three cats vomitted within minutes of eating it!! Never, ever again will this food go near them. Please don't feed your cats Purina!!

Bought discounted at Tesco's, down to £4 on a big pallet, suddenly two very poorly cats visiting the litter tray every 20 minutes.

Good as it looks and doubly delicious,pouches just full of Jelly,hardly any meat.

Purchased this as a treat , what a let down.
So the ad shows the preparation, for a start the foil wrapped came off in several pieces, not the one pull off as advertised.
Second I was pat pat pat trying to get it to come out of the pyramid, this was a joke , I resorted to getting a knife to release it.
Would I recommend this product, not for the price, it is hilarious lol

So so poor. These products are just all cheap fillers and sugar. Only a 4% meat content, for an animal that is an obligate carnivore. Completely inappropriate for a cat. If you look at the ingredients of something and it is so utterly vague, ‘various sugars’, that is a warning sign. The proper cat food brands out there such as Scrumble, Applaws, Blink, untamed, Rosie’s farm, Katkin list their exact ingredients and percentages. And they are all 100% meat, as is right for a cat’s diet. Yes, cats can survive on cheap food like those made by purina. But when you move your cat over to a proper brand, you will see how much more energy, how much less anxious, how much shinier fur, how much brighter eyes, how much less smelly poo (the list goes on) they have. And they live much much longer lives on proper food too. The average cat only lives until 15-16 years old on this cheap rubbish. But the world record for a cat to live is 38, with others living until 34, 32 and very regularly until mid and late 20s if they are fed properly. So this food is effectively giving your cat a 1/2 or 2/3rd lifespan than they deserve. I feel so guilty for feeding my cat this when I got her as a child. I didn’t know any better and nor did my mum. Now we do.

I can not warn people enough who are buying this new recipe whiskas in jelly .. I have had the exact same problem when Purina changed the ingredients in Felix as good as it looks . To this day since the change over I have lost 3 cats another is now diabetic 4 others have really bad smelly poops and most now have illnesses of various things including blood in their poop and asthma .. after doing extensive research I found out that within a year of Felix change over .. over 32000 cat owners hit Facebook most had lost a cat or their cat was dying or sick since the change... Apparently Purina had an investigation done on the ingredients but they got away with it because the investigation was " internal" they did their own investigation how convenient!!!

My cats absolutely hate the new whiskas it's bad enough that they have changed them to 85 gram bags and most wouldn't touch the new style Felix ( this speaks volumes if they all of a sudden can't stand the stuff ) but I am now transitioning my cats onto the cheaper food even tho at this point I don't trust any brand ... People may think I'm paranoid but fact is fact .. because while they have already killed over 80 million people and injured over 1.1 billion with the COVID jab, the world economic forum made a small statement that many did not see .. he stated that " we can't have pets running a mock if their owners are dead" this blew my mind ... PURINA and WHISKAS can no longer be trusted .. I know that thousands of owners including dog owners are losing their beloved family member because these companies have been paid millions into their pockets to wipe out our pets

I am quite sure that whoever reads my review will realise they are having the exact same problem with their pets . Illness that comes on out of the blue in a once very very healthy pet .. lethargy, weepy eyes, smelly poop, diarrhea, blood in poop, coughing asthma, allergies including allergy to fleas seem as the flea treatments are useless now too . I could go on and on but they killed my cats and have caused me to have a 700 pound vets bill .. furious doesn't cover how I feel

Why oh why have they made the meat sizes dog bite sized? I have to often cut up the meat especially as one of my cats almost choked to death .. I am absolutely furious at all these changes and heartbroken to what they have done to my cats .... Why did they stop selling Felix sensations? My cats absolutely loved them . From what I read thousands of cat owners had the same experience then all of a sudden they were gone???! I have noticed more so in the last 3 years how they have been taking away products our pets enjoy and food we enjoy replacing them with whatever it is they claim to be food ... I am fully aware that they were planning on adding insects to our ingredients and apparently they don't even have to declare this on the packaging .. the sad part is that millions of us could complain about the quality and damage it's causing our pets but these big companies simply do not care and haven't done for a long time ... It's about the money they were paid to push these products and therefore it didn't matter to them if the sales rate dropped

Simple fact is they want our pets dead and anyone who wants to challenge me on this feel free to do so because the evidence I have is overwhelming .... But one thing is clear ... When a huge company agree to only an internal investigation everyone should be on their guard ...

I recommend you check out the Facebook pages regarding whiskas and Felix and see the overwhelming emotions from thousands who have suffered loss since whiskas and Purina changed the ingredients ... My cats absolutely hate these foods now and it's with good reason ... Meanwhile I've had to watch my cats get sicker and sicker and then die and that is why I have been changing brands and to why I am warning you all now ... Those who are jab injured or lost someone to the jab and it's just brushed under the table as conspiracy .. you know exactly where I am coming from .. we can't even boycott these companies because like I said. .. they have been paid off as was the NHS police and government etc . We are in a silent genocide so please take your beloved pets off whiskas and all Purina brands

my cats after eating purina ona and felixa and gourmet got food allergy the vet confirmed that it is because of eating felixa and purina and gourmet purina ona it poisons my pets and then they are seriously sick.
