Promise Broken To Loyal Customer
I've been a customer of Pure Talk for 10 years, and I feel like I was recently tricked. While logged into my Pure Talk account, I was offered a free phone if I added a line. I did this and a phone arrived, and I have a receipt that the phone was free. I called to activate the number and was told that I don't have a free phone and have to pay 89.99 for the device. After speaking with 5 people and a supervisor, I was told that the phone isn't free for new phone lines. After 10 loyal years as a Pure Talk customer and helping you add 4 people to your company, I can't believe you will not honor what was promised to me. I will be exploring other options. I have attached documented proof about the promise that was broken.

They advertise unlimited talk text and data for $34.99 a month. My plan is $34.99 a month for unlimited talk and text with 10 gig of data.
Been with the company several years and just found this out because of the tv advertisements. Can’t seem to get old plan changed to new plan. Use to like this company but not so much anymore. By pure talk. Need a provider with integrity. Don’t care who owns it military or not. Just because your x-military doesn’t automatically mean you have integrity!

The cellphone/customer service apex
The issues that I've needed help with have ranged from basic bill paying to very technical "text spoofing" issues and with each issue it was handled with professionalism and overall excellent customer courtesy and service. With respect to the spoofing issue I dealt with regular customer service and also their top level technical support staff and they were extremely thorough and very knowledgeable and to date the issue has been resolved and this has been 3 weeks since the issue was addressed.
So when you place this on top of the already excellent service rate and coverage this is across the board the best overall deal on the economic landscape and should be utilized by anyone with a cellular phone service plan especially those that have opted into a contract and for the simple fact Puretalk doesn't require you to sign into any sort of contract for service.
