PureGym Aldgate- Consistently Disgraceful WIFI
This gym is underground and in 2026, still seemingly not willing to invest in a WIFi router fit for purpose so that users can do something as wild as listen to music whilst working out.
Spend some money. Sort out your IT and give members the facilities they deserve at what is supposedly one of your flagship gyms.

I’ve had a great experience at this…
I’ve had a great experience at this gym. The facilities are clean, the equipment is well maintained , and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to my personal trainer for the professionalism , encouragement , and personalised guidance. Their support helped me stay motivated and make real progress toward my fitness goals. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a positive and supportive environment .

I had such a fantastic experience at PureGym London Moorgate. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by Giampaolo and the whole team in such a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
Giampaolo took the time to show me around the gym, which is incredibly spacious and absolutely spotless. He also helped me book a Reformer Pilates class, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
The equipment is immaculate, and without a doubt, this is the best PureGym I've trained at. The dedication that Giampaolo and his team show to customer service, cleanliness, and maintaining exceptionally high standards truly sets this gym apart.
If you're in the area, I highly recommend paying this gym a visit—you won't be disappointed. It's an outstanding facility with an amazing team, and it's definitely worth becoming a member!

I highly recommend Puregym
I’ve been to many gym’s over the years, some really expensive and posh, but Puregym got something that they haven’t and thats EVERYTHING. It’s easy to join the staff are friendly and approachable loads of classes, loads of space and equipment. Why go anywhere else. I love it.

Lucas the manager from Pure Gym in…
Lucas the manager from Pure Gym in Brentford really helped me with my personall goals. He was really friendly and told me how to get fit and told me which machinery to use, he also helped me with a meal plan about what is good to eat to build muscle and lose weight at the same as he used to be a personal trainer i look forward to coming back to brentford again to tell lucas how my fitness is progressing because of him.

Very disappointing experience at PureGym Prescot (Cables Retail Park).
Very disappointing experience at PureGym Prescot (Cables Retail Park).
This gym seems to prioritize its group training sessions over everyone else. Whenever a group class is running, the music is turned up to an unbelievably high volume. It honestly feels more like being in a pub or nightclub than a gym. The volume constantly goes up and down depending on the instructor, making it impossible to focus on your workout.
Even with noise-cancelling earphones, you still can’t properly hear your own music or podcast because their speakers are so loud. It’s incredibly distracting and ruins the entire gym experience.
Every member pays the same monthly membership fee, yet it feels like only the group session members matter. I raised this issue with a member of staff, but I was simply told that nothing could be done. That response was unacceptable and showed no concern for the comfort of other paying members.
If you’re looking for a gym where you can train in a comfortable and respectful environment, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The management seriously needs to reconsider how they balance group classes with the experience of everyone else using the gym.

After 10 years of being a loyal PureGym…
After 10 years of being a loyal PureGym member, I’ve finally decided to leave.
Unfortunately, the gym has gone downhill. It’s dirty, poorly organised, and often feels more like a social club than a place to train. There are too many teenagers standing around chatting instead of working out, making it difficult to use the equipment.
The facilities are in a terrible state. Many locker and changing room doors are broken, the toilets smell awful, and there is no proper air conditioning, making the gym very uncomfortable, especially during busy times.
My final reason for leaving was a very unpleasant experience with one of the personal trainers at the Borehamwood branch, whose behaviour was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
It’s disappointing to see how much the standards have dropped over the years. Instead of renewing my membership, I’ve decided it’s time to invest in a professional home gym.
I hope PureGym takes these issues seriously and starts improving the experience for its long-term members.
