I love gomphrenas, they grow to 22 inches plus, are drought tolerant after they are established and make great dried flowers. I do Truffula pink. I ordered some in May. They got hung up at Fedexpress in neighboring city. The great staff (Debbie and Kara) followed up with me and gave me a refund. They worked with FedEx, plants finally came one week late. However, the individual packaging meant that even in our Denver 90 degree heat they were fine! I called and told them the good news and said, ok charge me again. They said, keep them and no charge given all your trouble. I will be ordering from them again. Cannot figure out the negative reviews, maybe the other company with similar name? this was a very personalized experience. My neighbor's recommendation led me to this team.

What they say is true .Don’t order the plants directly from them.This is the third time I have done that and is my last.The price is very steep for what you get.I just paid almost 100 dollars for a shrub no taller than 10 inches and in very bad shape.The second time I ordered a reblooming azalea and it came almost dead and very small ; paid almost 50 dollars.I’m done with them.

Plants all came to me half dead. Love there plants at the store but their Proven Winners Direct is not good.

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. cindy@provenwinners was condescending toward me. Not to mention she talked over me while I was trying to get my point across.
Out of 15 plants(over$425) only 4 were halfway decent. I ordered these hydrangeas for a customer. I had to give my customer her money back because of the inconvenience it caused.
A Proven winners horticulturist said that my customer could plant the dead plants and they might come back. SERIOUSLY? I WOULD NEVER BUY PLANTS IN THIS CONDITION!
They decided they would refund my money for 11 plants. I wanted replacements for my customer but they said they didn't have any more of the size I ordered, they had smaller ones that weren't suitable for my customer's project.
I am so angry with Proven winners, I literally cried. I'm sure I've lost a customer to boot.
I would never recommend this company to anyone!
I was treated very poorly all the way around and think the the name of this company should be Screw Our Customers and Customers of Our customers.
They've done damage to my reputation and business.
UNFORGIVABLE. BEWARE ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. I have now spent more money hiring a lawyer to handle this.

I pre-ordered 2 peach quince plants through PW online site, the plants received after 2 months but the plants too tiny is size (less than 4 inches) and weak. a branch from a plant already broken during shipping too. I paid $22.49 + shipping per plant. Meanwhile I bought PW 2 gallon fully grown quince bush with full of flowers (22 inch ht) for $12.49. I brought this to the attention to the customer care of PW, with photos of plants and receipts but they even not ready to replace the damaged plant or try to justify the high price they are selling. Their advertisement is very colorful but customer service is very bad. I never order anything directly from PW online.

I'm appalled at the lack of care and concern for customers! I used to spend around $150 a month for 8 months of the year for over 8 years with these people. I've always purchased at Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, and other local nurseries. So, I've never had to deal with them directly until I became disabled and wanted to continue my business of assembling plant arrangements in pots and selling them. Every pot used at least 1 or 2 plants from Proven Winners and I had planned to do 500 this year. Since this mail-order was new to me through Home Depot, I placed a small sample order of 8 plants to see how they did?

The pots arrived in such poor condition that 5 of 8 died the next day, crispy, and with the box not being mishandled or incurring any damage on it at all! This was all done in shipping and packing, and a 6 yr old could have done a better job! After putting the cone collars on all the plants, it appears someone dumped loose soil on top of the plants and then tried to jam it into the sides of the pots. There is more loose soil than can possibly fit in each pot, and these pots arrived with this soil matted on top of all the plants such that you could not see the leaves and at least half of the leaves and major branches broken, like someone punched the tops with their fist. The leaves and branches and dirt were matted together. There is nothing in the box that could do this, and if the extra dirt had not been added, things might have been just fine. While the box is intact, it is not well labeled as to which end is up!

When I contacted them, all I got was "Take them to Home Depot for a Refund". Really? I had to order these mail order because I cannot pick them up due to disability, and now you can't send replacements or help me find a better solution? I will have all the activity as with buying them, and then go home with nothing but an aching back after all this time and effort, Thanks!! You could have a voice recording say this and not have to pay someone to do nothing? Having someone there gives the impression they are needed and can make decisions, offer help. These people repeat a script! What about listening to the customer and offering a replacement shipment minus the fists and extra dirt? They aren't interested, and they haven't replied after my first complaint.

Worst customer support I've ever seen! All I can do is stop buying from them and let other people know, do not mail order from these people and I wouldn't consider buying from them at all due to their abhorrent behavior towards paying customers! Just look at other review sites like Yelp.

Happy gardening and good luck! There are a lot of great people out there that make the hobby and business fun! But, there are a few creeps who are just here to make money with the least effort, and are no friend of the gardening community. These "Proven Losers" people match the creeps! Stay away!

I bought a hydrangea plant from Gardening Express that was diseased. They refused to refund or replace. The plant was grown by Proven Winners and had their label attached. I emailed them about my problem with the plant delivered by their agent Gardening Express and I have been completely ignored. They obviously do not care about the quality of plants they produce.

So I bought a total of 5 plants, when I received the plants they were no taller than 3 inches tall each! I had just spent 60 + shipping and handling, and now had to wait years for what I thought I was going to get..when I contacted them, they wanted photos of the plants to justify their shipment, and once the arbourst saw the photos they emailed me back and said that they would not be able to refund my money!- so here I am Never to order again and to let you know how horrible it is to deal with them !- I thought that because of their name and reputation they would have a much better customer service policies, but No not to mention their people are horrible!

I wish I could review on their plants but I am still waiting to receive them weeks after my order and constant shipping delay notifications. I can, however, review their customer service and Pam, their customer service representative might do the company justice by receiving training. She is unprofessional, not helpful, arrogant and doesn’t seem to care about her company’s reputation. I have learned the lesson of ordering online from this company. Plants should be ordered for the next season bc they will not arrive in the current season. Bad customer service and zero effort in trying. Pam would work well representing Comcast or Cox Cable.

If you have ever watched a PW unboxing video on Youtube, you will be sadly disappointed in what you really get. Yesterday mine arrived with brown leaves, broken stems and branches, and dirt everywhere. Their customer service is a joke, scripted replies. Once they have your money, they are done. I wish Youtubers would quit promoting this brand.

I received my plants upside down in the box. I wrote to PW, sent them pictures of the upside down plants in the box with broken flower stems and leaves and they told me to plant my broken geraniums and send them pictures in two weeks I guess to see if the plants could recover from their negligence. At that time they will reevaluate the issue. They do no realize most importantly that they were negligent in packing my plants. I should not have had shipped to me that on arrival my plants had broken stems and most were not even in their pots. Even if they do decide after two weeks that the plants are good enough and will not refund my money for the 12 geraniums and $25 shipping cost, I no longer have confidence in the quality of their plants, the quality of their work and especially their customer service. Their indifference in this matter is unacceptable to me and I feel I have been taken advantage of. Instead of using their broken plants, I will go to my local grocery store for flowers. Sad!

DO NOT order from these people. They do not care about their customers or the plants. Once they have your money there is ZERO customer service nor a care about predicaments they put you in

Sort of a wash here. They offer great plant cultivars that you sometimes can’t find at garden centers and box stores but if you buy directly from them, they are ridiculously expensive for the tiny plants you receive. $20 for a quart-sized stick-of-a-shrub plus $20-40 in shipping charges.
