I brought a car from ponko a month ago had one prom lem sort within in 10 minutes had a courtesy car got my car back next day Haydn was very helpful profession thought out even l changed my mind 3 or 4 times very efficient kind listened to my request very helpful did all that he could he put my mind at easy l would highly recommend them l am very happy with my car

Later Steve in the repairs team spent time investigating and repairing a fault. Excellent communication and he took the time to explain the work which has been carried out.

Bought my car today, staff very helpful and polite. Car was reasonably priced and beautifully presented and my drive home was a pleasure. So far so good.

After purchasing a vehicle. 10 mins up the road the warning light came on. I turned around and went straight back to the dealership who took it to the workshop. It came back with light off. I then made my long journey home from Cambridge to Cornwall. Only to find that within an hour the light had come back on. I was in no position to turn around for the second time due to the 6 hours journey home. Long story short. Ponko say they can only help me if I take the car back to their workshop in Cambridge! I find this totally unacceptable. The DBF filter can be replaced by a local garage to me in Newquay. I am guessing they dont want to pay out The £1000+ bill that has been quoted to me. So now I am turning to the Motor Ombudsman for support.

I met Haydn who dealt with my enquiry.He was very helpful and the process went very well.
I left with the car of my choice and hope it runs as well as it has so far.
Only had the car for one day but so far so good.

Great sales and customer service.
However after only 4 months, following a warning sign in the dashboard which was then fully checked, I have to do repairs worth almost £1,900 due to many faults found in the vehicle. And to add to the bitter taste, the expensive premium warranty I was so convincingly sold does not cover any of the faults.
I would have not expected these many faults after such a short period of time. I wonder how deep was the car checked before sold. Sad it is, really sad...

I have brought cars of this family run business fir many years there honest trustworthy and don't try to ripe you off they are always there to help if you have a problem I will continue to use them as my family and relatives have great service

The premises are great, also all the people are helpful and polite. After the car was serviced, cleaned it presented very well. It also starts runs and stops well.

The disappointment came because I originally expressed interest in the car but it was not on site. It became possible to examine it just before the weekend. Over the weekend I became aware of the £99 reservation fee so on the Tuesday morning I paid Autotrader the £99 and asked Ponzo when I could collect the car and was told Thursday onwards (not convenient so we turned up on Friday). All good so we proceeded to purchase it only to find out that the price had gone up that Monday by an amount I had not noticed on the Tuesday. OK my fault. They said the management review prices every Monday
Now on Aufust 14

Having had an engine management light come on, I took the car to my local garage who analysed the problem as an intermittent fault with a sensor. I asked if I could photo the screen and I have the photos. I rang Ponko to ask for help. I was told that I must take the car to an independent garage and get a full written report and submit it to them, so I asked them that if the garage charges me for that report and the fault is accepted by you, will you refund that charge. Answer was no. If no report they would do the same test and charge me £106. Again with no refund. I said this was outrageous and they replied that this is the rules as per the leaflet I was given at purchase, (which I am pretty sure it was not).

My previous good report was in conflict with the general opinion of local people I have asked. I now suspect I may have been wrong.

The warranty company also has a website with reviews on it. They are not particularly good. Quite a lot of 1 star.

On Companies House it seems that the two directors of the warranty company Warranty Protection Limited are two of the three directors of Ponko Ltd. The third director of Ponko shares the surname and has the same address.

All staff were patient and kind in all their dealings with me. I am very pleased with the video showing the appearance and condition of the car I have bought

I contacted Ponko to purchase a car, and I was extremely satisfied! The company's managers are professionals in their field: they helped me choose a car according to my wishes and budget, provided complete information about the condition and history of the car.

The paperwork was done quickly and without any hassle. The car was in excellent condition, fully consistent with the description. I really liked the approach to the client - it feels like the company values ​​its reputation.
