If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. One star feels far too generous for the experience I’ve had.

I pay £85 a month, and on my first ever claim, I received less back than my monthly premium. Their excuse? They only pay what they decide is “reasonable”, not what vets actually charge. Yet they refuse to explain how they calculate these so‑called reasonable costs, or where on earth they think you can find treatment at those prices. If they base their limits on “research”, then make that research accessible. Don’t hide behind vague wording and expect customers to just accept it.

Communication has been awful. No reassurance, no clarity, no transparency. When I asked for confirmation about what is or isn’t covered, I was told they “only list exclusions” and that I have to submit invoices and wait for them to decide. That’s not a policy — that’s a gamble.

As a single mum of three, with a neurodivergent child who relies heavily on his dogs for comfort, I need a policy that is clear, honest, and reliable. Instead, I’ve spent over a week panicking, left completely in the dark, and ultimately penalised for something I have zero control over.

This insurer offers no reassurance, no transparency, and no respect for the people who trust them. I wish I had read the reviews before signing up. I’ll be cancelling and taking my business somewhere that actually supports its customers. Do your research on reviews and avoid getting stung 🙏

Really pleased with the service I received today from Conrad. He was very polite and professional and dealt with my questions perfectly. It’s very reassuring to be with a company who has such helpful and knowledgeable employees.

Other than the long wait time to speak to an agent, the call was handled well and professionally by Elliot. My circumstances have changed as I have recently added another dog to my household so simple renewal of my existing one dog policy is no longer relevant and in any case I wanted to change some of the levels of cover. Elliot pointed some pertinent points to consider when considering other providers of pet insurance. I have subsequently taken out a new policy with PerfectPet which covers both dogs
