I purchased the software on their main…
I purchased the software on their main website because I was under the impression that I could edit pdf's with it. Which is not the case. Immediately after downloading and realising my mistake I reached out to the customer service. The customer service doesn't help you, they send you emails say you should get in touch with paddle (the software that handles the invoices). Over there they don't get back to me at all. In between I was ask if customer service should cancel my pdf architect software, which is the one I wanted to buy in the first place, it was PDFforge that I didn't need.
Very bad customer service. And a very confusing and disappointing experience in general.

Il m'aura fallu 3 semaines d'échange de courriels où je me suis vu à chaque fois proposer des "offres spéciales" toujours plus avantageuses, voire même un abonnement à vie... Une galère dont j'ai pu extirper grâce à PayPal.

A very honest and accurate tool
I have been using free pdfforge since a lot of years to convert my word documents into pdf. Never a problem or hesitation!
Now I tried the online function in order to divide a too big pdf into smaller ones. Very helpful!
Perhaps I was not enough skilled to succed in dividing in more than 6 segments, but i succedeed anyway with multiple passages.

It's free, the only one I could find. It has so many features that can save your life, converting, spliting, etc. its fast, doesn't try to push ads into you. In conclusion: The best pdf related site to exist in the internet.

I updated my account on the website to say I didn't want to renew, but it wouldn't let me remove my bank details. They then charged me for another year in Aug. I wrote several times asking for a refund. [.....]
I have added a star and deleted some of my comments as I did eventually get my money back and they have confirmed that they have now deleted my bank details.

Customer support doesn't exist
I installed PDF Architect 9, but for some reason, the installation did not complete correctly. To be honest, I'm not even sure how I ended up downloading this tool, as I was only interested in PDF Creator.
Now, I'm stuck in a situation where I can neither complete a fresh installation nor uninstall the existing one. The process fails with the error "Signature is invalid".
I've tried everything — removing it via Control Panel, using force removal tools, and even manual methods — but nothing works. To make matters worse, I now have a persistent error window frozen on my desktop that I cannot close.
I submitted a support ticket weeks ago, but I've yet to receive any reply. The customer support appears to be handled entirely by an unhelpful AI chatbot, and there is no available phone number to speak with a human agent.
In my experience, PDF Architect 9 has been extremely frustrating and unreliable. I strongly advise others to stay away from this software.

Dissapointing experience. Poor quality conversion. Not freemium + bloatware ads
PDFCreator "Free download" version immediately requires activation after about 1 use. I at least got to try out convert png to pdf but am disappointed with the quality of the results.
You get far better quality using chrome built-in browser print feature. Just drag your pngs to browser and right click and print.
I did not get a chance to use the merge feature.
Did not like unsolicited bloatware installation popups / ads. The app isn't even freemium.
