Customer Service is terrible.
I ordered a pair of Birkenstocks and was advised to go a size up. I did and they came but are too big. I wanted a smaller size which they didn't have so I asked for a refund. They told me I'd have to pay for the postage. I only want a refund because they don't have my size, not because I am unhappy with the product. This is what it says on their website about returns - We offer a free returns service for faulty products and product exchanges over £40 (e.g. changing size/colour) within the mainland UK. They refused to accept responsibility for the return and insisted that I pay for the postage. Totally unacceptable.

Items were in stock at the point of purchase. 2 weeks after the order I chased them, they responded immediately saying they were waiting to restock one of the items. An automated message arrived a week later saying they were waiting to restock and item which would take another week to arrive with them. I got my P&P refunded when I asked for it, only reason why it’s 2 star and not 1

Delighted with our new Helly Hansen bag. I've never used this website before, but I definitely will again. The bag arrived within 48hrs and was well packaged (which so many other companies aren't doing now). The bag is fantastic, plus it was in a sale.
I'd definitely recommend OutdoorGB.

Great product
This purchase was very easy. As it happens, I had ordered the wrong quantity so contacted them asap and they added on to the quantity of my order, no bother. Items were delivered promptly, well packaged and exactly as expected. Price was great! First time ordering from this company but would definitely order from here again.

Good web purchasing experience but…
Good web purchasing experience but product (baseball cap with neck coverage) was cut away too much exposing the ears which needed to be covered. Perhaps re-shaping the neck flap so that it covered ears but still allowed peripheral vision would be helpful

Don’t pay back delivery costs on faulty items
I brought a coat on hear and the pocket zip fell apart a couple months after I received it I reached out to Outdoorgb and was told to return the coat so they can do a warranty assessment ended up get a refund minus the delivery cost dont think that’s right as when an item is faulty ur suppose to get full refund including delivery costs

1000 Mile - best trainer socks
So good to find the 1000 Mile trainer socks at a great price. I take size 3 and the small fit perfectly. I wear them with my walking shoes (I prefer them to thick walking socks in summer) - usually 4 to 5 miles per day. They're definitely the best for my racketball games and I have never had blisters, thanks to the double layer. I've tried other brands, but always come back to these. Great colours available here, too. I've already given details to others. Highly recommend.

Horrendous company to deal with
Horrendous company to deal with. Customer service may be quick to answer, but absolutely useless. Ordered trousers for work marked as "available to order".
Firsty, this means they are not in stock and can be ordered in. That's not clear on the website. At this time estated delivery was 9-10 working days. Not a problem.
10 working days later, I'm told they are still not available and they don't even have an estimated date of delivery.
Be wary when you order your items, you may get them within 2 weeks or 2 months, who knows. Apparently this ie acceptable service and the only option I was offered was to cancel my order.

Dishonest company - avoid
Ordered a cycle helmet which didn’t fit. Returned it in its original packaging but was told by outdoorGB that due to me packaging it incorrectly it was damaged and they couldn’t give me a refund. There had been no instructions that it had to go in the box a particular way round and on receiving it back it has the tiniest scuff on it. Like many others on here it appears to me that outdoorGB are dishonestly refusing to give customers refund. Seems to be happening too often to be a coincidence. Avoid this company at all costs

I purchased a Berghaus Deluge Pro 2.0…
I purchased a Berghaus Deluge Pro 2.0 Jacket and Paclite Gore-Tex Overtrousers from OutdoorGB (total: £148.43). While the products themselves are good, my experience with customer service was extremely frustrating.
The jacket took ages to be repaired with no updates provided during the wait — I had to chase them myself. I accidentally returned both items when only the trousers were supposed to go back, and instead of helping to resolve this smoothly, the company started trying to charge me extra return postage. I even offered a reasonable solution: have Berghaus return the repaired jacket to them, then send both items back to me in one parcel. But instead, I was met with policy talk and zero flexibility.
Their customer service hours are from 11am to 2pm, which is almost useless for anyone who works a standard job — most companies offer phone support between 9 and 5. I tried calling multiple times and found it incredibly inconvenient.
For a business selling high-end outdoor gear with strong margins, I expected much better service and a more customer-focused approach. Sadly, I can’t recommend OutdoorGB after this experience.

We appreciate your input and are committed to providing solutions for the return of the item. Regarding the items, they were not supplied as a pair. In cases where they are, our policy is to address the issue with the faulty item only, rather than both. As a small family-owned business, we currently face limitations in covering additional shipping costs for returning the item. Alternatively, we can hold the item onsite in case Berghaus repairs the other item, and we can then ship them both at no additional cost. If we receive credit for the item, you will be responsible for the postage. We hope you understand that the error was not on our part. Our customer service operating hours are displayed on our website, with live chat and email support available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We also offer support through Instagram and Facebook, providing multiple options for customer assistance. We strive to balance our commercial responsibilities with exceptional customer service. We have collected the faulty item at no charge, sent it to the supplier, and will cover the cost of returning the repaired item. I was offered free delivery and item came 2 days after ordering. Item is great quality and was offered at a great price, cheaper than anywhere else I could find.
Not the first time I’ve used OutdoorGB, and I will have no hesitation in purchasing from them again.

The vest is like picture
The vest looks like the picture, but it took 11 days to arrive. It's crazy to wait that long when you pay for delivery that’s supposed to take 3–4 days. I’ll never buy from them again — though I doubt my dissatisfaction makes any difference to them.
