I placed an order without problem with items at a good price. Confirmation email said delivery would be within 2 to 8 working days. After 2 weeks I contacted them to enquire where the parcel was as we hadn't even received a dispatch email. They said they hadn't yet received the goods from the retailer yet. Apparently I should have known this because the page would have said "available to order". Would any other customer have thought this didn't mean us as individuals? Apparently it means they have to order them before I order them! I was assured they'd be delivered soon. We needed the items for a sponsored hike and after waiting 3 weeks and again being told they still hadn't arrived, I cancelled the order and went elsewhere.

Outdoor GB - 1) Make clear on your website when you don't have items in stock. 2) Don't send emails with unrealistic timings if you know you don't yet have the items being sold.

I would have put zero stars if I could!

I placed an order for a £40 Dare2b jacket. I contacted them after 14 days as I had not received. The delivery had said 2-6 days.

After a few back and forward emails, I was informed that they were waiting on stock to arrive. This was 15th July and the day they went bust! What I find so annoying is that they must have had some inkling at that point, yet blatantly lied to me that everything was fine.

Then on 28th July, I received two letter headed as ‘proposed creditors voluntary liquidation’, dated much earlier in the month mind! I had until 31st July to respond. From the attached documents, it showed that they owe over 3 million pounds to multiple companies.

The company website has now disappeared, with a ‘thank you’ for your custom! Cheek!

Guess I’m not getting my £40 back! So annoyed!

Sent back a faulty pair of Berghaus trousers which were acknowledged as faulty, outdoor GB sent me a credit note on the 15th July which expires in Jan 2026, went online last week to use it and found the company went into liquidation on the 15th July. This is not acceptable, the credit note is obviously useless and you still have the trousers. I would appreciate if the trousers or money could be returned. Awful customer service, no wonder the company has gone into liquidation.

They went in liquidation and stole a pile of money from all of us customers. Ordered a pair of working boots a month ago, it never arrived and now I've got a message that they are over, thank you. No mention about my money and wasted time. We should unite all who have been scammed and drag the owner(s) to the court of justice.

There was a manufacturing fault with a Tilley hat that I bought. After sending video evidence to Outdoor GB they agreed to refund or exchange it and supplied a postage paid return label. They sent the hat back to Tilley detailing my complaint. A lady named Polina organised a replacement which was sent back to me via Royal Mail 24 hr service. It took a little while to resolve the matter but Polina could not have been more helpful. The new hat is perfect. The test for a company is to see how they deal with complaints or problems. Outdoor GB were exemplary in my case and I would highly recommend the company as one that you can trust should there be any problem. Added to that their prices are very competitive.

an easy purchase. A great shirt, lightweight, breathable and a comfortable fit. The sleeves have a securing tab for when they are rolled up.

Ordered boots 3 weeks ago - delivery estimated 2-7 days and in stock when I ordered . Emailed customer service- they had to be shipped ! From where ? China ? This is supposed to be a uk firm or so they say . Had they stated this when I was ordering I would have chosen a different company. Also no refunds or cancellation of order ! AVOID

Good products, swift delivery, good customer service

I ordered a backpack on the 10th June, Its now the 7th July. I've asked for a refund numerus times and they refuse, saying it's not there policy.

I've tried to call them, You only get the answer phone message for when their open, It is between those times but still don't answer.

I have a 46 Inch waist and getting sports trousers in the UK is difficult, and OutdoorGB does allow you to order some of there trousers in larger sizes, normally on back order so you may need to wait a few weeks. only reason for 4 stars is my one of my orders took a week longer than expected to show up.

Great quality product

Brought k9 sports sack urban for my miniature dachshund, used it on the Llaberis path up snowdon. Was absolutely brilliant, he seemed comfortable and enjoyed being carried in it, was comfortable for the human to.

This is my second one of these, sadly I left the first one on a train. Great for shade or to keep a shower off. Lovely fit, great quality.
