Nokia als Arbeitgeber? Nein Danke

Nokia behauptet gern eines der moralisch besten und ethisch herausragenden Unternehmen zu sein.
Das entspricht nicht den Tatsachen.
Mobbing ist hier an der Tagesordnung die Aufgaben sind langweilig und Aufsteigen kann man nur wenn man keinerlei Kritik äußert.
Und dann kommt alle 2 Jahre eine Entlassungswelle.

Avoid, horrific experience

Shocking experience, worst I've ever had as a customer. I want to give zero stars.
Ordered a phone and paid £299 for it and never received it.
It's impossible to get any information from them regarding my order.
Customer service doesn't exist.
They have no phone number to call! How can a phone company have no phone!
To take money for something that they don't deliver is breaking the law. When you try to contact them they aren't interested in trying to help. They just try to pass it over to DHL who just pass back to Nokia.
It doesn't matter how many times I have explain to them via text (because you can't speak to anyone) they still keep giving the same answer! I think it's a robot generated response.
Spent all week so far trying to either get my phone delivered or a refund and still no help from Nokia.
Totally and utterly disgusting behaviour.
Customer service chat are rude and don't listen (again think it's just a robot)
Never ever will I use them again and will be taking legal action to recover my money they have stolen.

Repair on a 4 month old phone . Replacement rubbish

Problems with new phone after 4 months.only cover under warranty is send back for repair.Most companies would replace with new.I do not believe the phone returned to is my own as it shows more wear & scratches than mine .So difficult to make a complaint as captcha not working on mobile site.It has become a throw away phone worth next to nothing.

Poor-quality phone, bad-faith "support". Avoid.

I don't give 1-star reviews lightly. I'm not doing this because I'm angry with HMD Global (who make "Nokia" phones). I'm doing because I genuinely see no redeeming aspect which I could use to add an extra star. Their product was crap, and their support appears to exist only to deflect warranty claims. The only reason I haven't taken HMD to court is that my lawyer tells me it wouldn't be cost-effective in the end.

I bought a Nokia XR20 phone because it's "mil spec" and ruggedised and I'm clumsy. Yes, I confess I did drop it from pocket height. But that was within the range of things it should be able to take, which is why I bought it in the first place! So it is completely implausible that this impact caused the huge array of hardware and software faults this phone showed. Its trim came off and clearly wasn't glued properly underneath. Its clock drifted by multiple hours so I couldn't trust the alarm. Its fingerprint sensor regularly short-circuited and became painfully hot. Its Bluetooth audio was poor and skippy.

If HMD had accepted this medley of crap and dealt with it responsibly, I'd give them 4 stars or 5. Mistakes happen. But their "support" came down to "nope". No engagement, no explanation, just "that's not covered by warranty". HOW is blatantly defective hardware not covered by warranty? I went the other route of customer-protection regulations through the online retailer (who were fine). Then HMD rolled out the "impact damage" excuse, which is a blatant cop-out for a "mil spec" phone, and didn't satisfactorily explain all the defects anyway. I challenged this and their responses went back to blunt refusal. And that was that.

I don't like giving bad reviews. I want to be here telling people what a great phone the XR20 is and what a great company HMD is. But they're not. The product is terrible and the company is worse. Please avoid them.

Nokia 8000 4G

Nokia 8000 4G : trop de défauts

Il n'a qu'une seule véritable qualité : la téléphonie. Encore heureux pour un téléphone, parce que presque toutes les autres fonctionnalités ont des défauts navrants. Il ne peut même pas faire office de réveil et rien qu'envoyer un SMS exige de se faire violence.Il donne l'impression typique d'un produit conçu par des personnes qui ne l'utilisent pas elles-mêmes. Je ne vois pas comment faire autrement que le déconseiller.

Je suis déjà utilisateur de téléphones classiques : un Nokia 301 et un Nokia 222, et j'ai acheté celui-là en remplacement du 222 qui n'est plus utilisable dans certains pays depuis l'arrêt de la 2G. Mon expérience avec le 222 montrait que celui-ci était trop basique et j'ai décidé de me tourner vers un Nokia classique plus haut de gamme, d'où mon choix du 8000 4G.

En termes de fonctionnalités, il a ce qu'on attend d'un téléphone classique avancé ; il ajoute même le wifi. Ce que j'apprécie, c'est qu'il amène une mise à jour technologique ; les MMS et le navigateur fonctionnaient de moins en moins bien sur mes anciens Nokia ; désormais ces deux fonctions sont à jour et semblent bien fonctionner. Pour autant, l'appareil photo est très modeste, avec même moins de pixels que le vieux 301. Je fais l'impasse sur les "applications" : même si elles peuvent ponctuellement avoir une utilité, ce n'est justement pas pour ça qu'on achète un téléphone classique. Aussi, d'après mon expérience avec le 301, je m'attends à ce qu'elles finissent par ne plus fonctionner après quelques années faute de mises à jour, mais il ne tient qu'à Nokia de démontrer le contraire.

Maintenant, les défauts et c'est un catalogue :

Numéro un, le clavier : il est parfaitement lisse (sauf flèches de direction) et les touches sont indiscernables au toucher. Ca rend peut-être bien esthétiquement, mais son usage est exaspérant ; il faut systématiquement se concentrer et regarder le clavier lors de la frappe, sans quoi on enfonce une fois sur deux la mauvaise touche. De surcroît, comparé aux autres Nokia, il a une rangée de touches supplémentaires de peu de bénéfice.

La saisie prédictive est mal conçue. Elle est toujours désactivée quand on commence un SMS. Il faut basculer en saisie manuelle pour taper certains mots, par exemple pour mettre une majuscule à un nom commun (exemple : Grand). Le mode de saisie avec la première lettre en majuscule ne fonctionne qu'immédiatement après un point et un espace. Là, je regrette mon 301 d'il y a 10 ans, tellement plus facile ! Le seul point sur lequel elle fait mieux est la suggestion de mots à partir des premières lettres mais ça ne suffit pas à compenser ses faiblesses.

Le réveil n'est pas fiable. Aléatoirement, il ne sonne pas et quand il sonne, il peut le faire avec 10 à 20 minutes de retard. A ce niveau de fiabilité, autant dire qu'il n'y a pas de réveil.

Il n'enregistre pas de brouillon lors de la saisie de SMS. Si on s'interrompt trop longtemps, il passe en veille et le contenu déjà tapé est perdu !

Il est terriblement lent. Lent à démarrer, lent pour presque chaque fonction, même afficher la liste des contacts ou le journal des appels. L'affichage des photos, selon les moments, est simplement catastrophique.

La fonction mains libres (connexion à la voiture) fonctionne mal. Le niveau de signal affiche souvent zéro. Souvent, quand on veut passer un appel, il ne se passe rien à moins d'appuyer sur le bouton pour le sortir de veille ; à ce compte, autant dire le qualifier de "semi-mains libres".

Il a cependant une qualité remarquable : le son est de bonne qualité et le niveau sonore est très bon.

L'autonomie paraît similaire à celles des autres Nokia quand on se contente des fonctions de base. Mais visiblement, dès qu'on utilise les applications ou le wifi, le niveau de batterie décroît beaucoup plus rapidement. Pareil lors d'un long trajet en voiture ou en train.

Je ne peux pas commenter la solidité, je ne l'ai jamais fait tomber.

Support ist schlecht, sehr schlecht
bei meinem Nokia 8.3 5G war der SIM Kartenhalter gebrochen. Ein bekanntes Problem in der Produktreihe.
Ich stellte einen Reparaturauftrag bei Nokia, Garantie war auch noch vorhanden.
Damit begann dann auch der Ärger. Als es beim Service in Ungarn ankam , bekam ich am zweiten Tag die Mitteilung, das Display ist defekt und muss gegen Bezahlung 143,99€ repariert werden , oder es geht unrepariert zurück. Dann muss ich aber damit rechnen, dass das Gerät nicht mehr in dem funktionstüchtigen Zustand wie nach Eingang vorzufinden ist.
Hallo ? der Sim Kartenhalter war gebrochen, das Gerät zu 100 % funktionsfähig.
Live Chat kontaktiert, war der Witz , die können nichts tun, ich soll den Auftrag nicht stornieren und auch keiner Reparatur zustimmen, nur weiterleiten an den Support war die Aufgabe vom Live Chat.
Nach 4 Tagen eine Mail vom Support, darin stand die Frage , ob ich nur den SIM Kartenhalter repariert und das Display nicht repariert werden soll.
Ich erklärte also den Sachverhalt erneut, mit Nachfrage ob das Display während der Reparatur zerstört wurde . auch nach einer weiteren Woche keine Antwort. Das dauert nun bereits alles über drei Wochen. Nun geht´s in Urlaub. Es ist Ungewiss ob ich mein neuwertiges Gerät zurück bekomme, oder ob es von Nokia einbehalten wird . Dann beginnt der Kampf mit Anzeige wegen Betrug und Unterschlagung und der Zivilrechtliche Weg.
Nokia ist wirklich unterste Schublade geworden, es interessiert nicht was die Kunden betrifft, man sitz es aus.

Don't place that Nokia Order ! go to their store, save your time and energy

They sent the package for delivery and then said we cannot deliver. When I asked support they said nobody was home. I work from home so I've been home ever since I placed the order. Support agents are least interested in customer issues.
I've always had Nokia phones, but maybe the company is no longer what it used to be. No matter how good the phones are, if they cannot deliver their product, and harass their customers, whats the use.

Please don't waste your money, time, and energy on selecting a phone and ordering online, only to wait and then be told the order is cancelled.

If you do want their phone, go to a store and buy. I don't see many of their phones in stores though.

Verschrikkelijke klantenservice uit India of vergelijkbaar. Artikel direct na ontvangst - toen bleek dat specificaties afweken van wat op hun website staat, en het toestel dus niet compatible is met randapparatuur - terug gestuurd naar het adres op de factuur. Na zes weken en een hoop gedoe geld terug ontvangen.

I recently purchased the new Nokia g42…

I recently purchased the new Nokia g42 from their web site and got 10% off using their discount code. Making it £179 with free Bluetooth earbuds.
I've been using a blackview A80 pro 4g phone for about four to five years and it's been absolutely fantastic. I have been looking to upgrade to a 5g phone but the rip off prices always put me off.
This phone cought my eye so for the money and the GSM arena reviews I decided to take the leap.
Its taken me a while to get used to the android 13 but I have to say I'm blown away with this brilliant device.
I've been using it for a week now and my data speed has been up to 170 Mbps on 5g.
Only time will tell as regards longevity and support but I do feel Nokia are serious about getting back to the top of the market, the development and research investments they are putting into this new venture has in fact prompted apple to join forces on a contractual business basis to push mobile inovation to the highest level.
But for now I can only say my early experience with this new g42 6gb ram 128gb memory 5g phone is one of unexpected elation.
Well done Nokia and welcome back to the fold.

The phone was faulty so I have returned the phone, they were expecting a trade in but obviously they didn't get the trade in as I have returned the faulty phone. They refunded me the phone cost, but have since charged me the trade in price as they never received the phone trade in. For a transaction that has been cancelled and refunded! Absolutely shocking customer service!

Chatten på Nokias hjemmeside er spild af tid

Jeg har netop forsøgt at anvende chatfunktionen på Nokia's hjemmeside for at få hjælp til et mindre problem med min telefon - det kan jeg ikke anbefale nogen. Det tog det rigtig lang tid, før der var hul igennem, det tog lang tid mellem hvert svar, pludselig kom en ny medarbejder online, som jeg skulle forklare problematikken forfra, og i sidste ende kunne de ikke hjælpe mig. Det lod ikke til, at medarbejderne vidste noget om telefonen, udover det enhver telefonbruger ved, så det var komplet spild af tid!

Nokia X30 - Subscription

The Subscription service is an awesome idea.
I had a Samsung S10 and decided to try this option. A week after mine Nokia arrived, the Samsung decided not turn on! It joined my older Samsung and an Iphone. So I spent £800( these days is even more!) only to eventually add that phone to pile of old devices that no longer work.
Anyway, the Nokia X30 did feel like an upgrade, I never had any issues with it's performance and I like the quality of it.
I am considering buying the Nokia G42 5G as love the fixability! Although might consider changing my subscription to Nokia XR21.
Why follow the trend and spend 1000's of pounds on the new thing, which will need replacing anyway in 2yrs time.
For £22 a month, you rent a phone(which u can upgrade or cancel after 3 months, insurance in case damage or lost, you no longer own the device, and it will be reused when you move on.

Have a G21 and not only is it a clear scam - the latest update is from one year ago even after following all their unprofessional chat support's help - but after about 9 months of very lightweight use (it freezes with spotify+strava) the back started to peel off. And good luck to me with that chat support. Last time I'm buying Nokia.

Bought a C21 phone in 2022

Bought a C21 phone in 2022, and gave for granted that GPS was an old and fault-proof technology: but it's not the case, and on this phone it's working ONLY if connected to the internet, which I don't use. Funny, my chinese phone from 2011 was better.

Sent for repair (argos won't do that for me, even if I purchased from them...) and is being returned as "no faults found", as expected.

Skip nokia in the future.

Carence batterie au bout de 18 mois...

Bonjour, je suis extrêmement déçu par le modèle X20 acheté en octobre 2021 et qui présente déjà des carences graves sur la charge de la batterie. J'ai voulu jouer européen, aurais-je perdu ? J'espère surtout ne jamais entendre parler d'obsolescence programmée pour un constructeur qui se veut "Green".
