I loved every minute of the experience , made feel welcome, down to earth genui e guys, couple of bits I pointed out on the car that I asked to be sorted , just a center cap on alloy and it had 6 mths mot left ao I asked for it to be mot so had full 12 months, all sorted with full service and valet! Had it a few days now and do a 85 mile round trip to work, I'm gutted when I get home, just love it, it's like a brand new car, faultless , not big on reviews it this experience warrants one! What did we buy? WHO KNOWS!
We bought a Range Rover Evoque from MB Motor Group. I have been very apprehensive about posting this review as we have been back and forth for a while on the phone with them but enough is enough.
We took the car out for a test drive before purchasing and the car was very slow at starting and took a while to get going, very flat when you put your foot on the accelerator - we were told this was due to the car being sat for a while (Ok, fair enough we gave them the benefit of the doubt) That is until we got the car home and a couple of weeks later the car started doing the same thing - we rang the garage and we were told it was 'due to being sat a while' - how can that be when it gets driven everyday?
We were originally told this car had no ad-blue to find out it does! (Not an issue that it has it, but the lie we were told is where the issue is)
We made a deal with the salesman (Mike) that he would put £20 of fuel in the car for us before we picked it up as it was very very low on fuel. This did not happen and we were blatantly lied to as we were told 'the gauge takes a while to go up' strange how its never been a problem going up when we've filled it up ourselves?
We also had a tyre that was perished that we had to change within a couple of days of having the car, how has that passed an MOT with a tyre like that?
Even though we got 3 months warranty for engine problems etc, they could not care less that we have these problems as they have offered NO solutions. Just trying to fob us off with more lies!
We believe the car we were sold was 1, expensive for what is was & what we've had to put in afterwards, 2, unsafe and 3, completely unsure of what it was we've actually bought due to the lies we've been told.
I would not recommend buying a car from here which is a shame.

Gave these guys 5 stars previously but…
Gave these guys 5 stars previously but deleted that review and now it's 1 star. I bought a mercedes for a large sum of cash. Car looks fantastic.... But I recently took it for some upgrades to a professional performance garage for a front grill upgrade and performance exhaust upgrade. When fitting the new grill the garage adviseed me the front bumper has been screwed to the headlights. They told me it's likely to have been in a front end collision. When they came to look at the exhausts upgrade they told me all the exhaust system has been pushed forward and the underbody heat shields are crumpled. The told me in their opinion the rear quarter has been repaired and poorly painted likely to have been in heavy rear end collision. Also I was sold with a chip in the windscreen. I have pictures and a written find from what has been found. I contacted the garage and was asked if they could have a look but I declined as the garage is 90min away and I am now seeking legal advice. This purchase is now causing me major concerns

We are really pleased to hear that you were initially very happy with your vehicle purchase & with the way you were looked after here at M B Motor Group, so happy in fact, you left a 5 Star online review. Thank you for that.
However, we are not happy to hear that you are now claiming to be experiencing issues that have made you change your excellent 5 Star review to a 1 star review, especially as we have offered to help you with this matter, but you refuse to bring the car back to us.
We think your change of review status is extremely unreasonable, even though you did threaten us that you would be amending your review if we didn't bow to your unreasonable demands that we pay you to have work done to your car without first letting us see the alleged work required.
Our records show that you did tell us that your local garage had told you that your car may have incurred some previous accident damage. If this was the case, it must've been repaired to a high standard as neither you, ourselves, nor the independent workshops that carried out the Pre Delivery Inspection & MOT prior to you collecting the vehicle, had noticed this.
When you told us about the supposed damage to your car, we asked you to bring the car into us so that we could have the vehicle independently inspected to make sure that the information that your garage had given you (& what you were telling us) was in fact true, which you refused to do.
We also asked you to send us photos or a video of the alleged damage which you also wouldn't do.
As we have already discussed, if somebody tells us that there is an issue with a vehicle supplied by ourselves, but they refuse to let us see evidence of this issue, there is nothing much we can do about it. We can't just simply take somebody's word that there is an issue, & then send them money to get the unseen, unproven issue rectified.
So, our original offer to you still stands. Bring the car into us here at M B Motor Group & we will have the car sent for an independent inspection report. Should this report highlight that the vehicle had incurred major accident damage prior to you taking ownership of it, we will have your concerns addressed.

Bought a car from them on 24/11/23 Audi…
Bought a car from them on 24/11/23 Audi Q7, had it 7 days and faults started showing on the car, after 10 days engine management light was on and I called AA, there report showed over 30 faults on the car. After several days of communication with the garage I raised a complaint with my finance as the garage just clearled faults and didn’t repair. They are now refusing refund and I’m having to go through legal proceedings.
ID SUGGEST TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARAGE.

Hi Gemma.
Thank you for your review, however, there are a few points you appear to have omitted.
After you had had a couple of weeks use of the vehicle, you told us that you had the car checked over by a mechanic. In this check over, apparently several fault codes showed up on the diagnostic report & as a result of this, you told us that wanted to reject the vehicle & that you wanted obtain a deposit refund for yourself & to cancel your finance agreement. …. This is a tactic often used by unscrupulous people who wish to have free use of a nice car for a short time, so we have to be sure that this isn't the case when dealing with cases such as yours.
We told you that this may be an option, but we would first have to have the vehicle independently inspected to make sure these faults existed. We also told you that if there were any issues found, we would repair them for you & let you have the use of a courtesy car whilst this took place.
We arranged for your car to be collected from you & brought to us (at no cost to yourself), & we had the inspection carried out. The inspection report concluded that the fault codes that had shown up on your mechanics diagnostic report were in fact historical codes from previous issues that may have occurred over the car's previous 8 years on the road that had not been cleared, & that the vehicle currently had no mechanical issues.
For your peace of mind, your lender also arranged for an engineer to carry out another independent inspection. The engineers report came to the same conclusion.
You collected the car from us over 2 weeks ago now & as we thought, no issues have emerged.
Also, let's not forget, that on the day that you bought the car, after you had placed your vehicle order, you demanded that the car had to be ready for collection on that day as you were not prepared to make a second journey in to us to collect it. We strongly recommended that you leave the car with us a few days so that the car could be booked in to the workshop for the in-depth Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) that all our cars go through before we hand them over to the customer…. You still refused….. Had the workshop had more time with the vehicle, the historical codes would have been cleared prior to you taking delivery of the car.
Taking all this into consideration, I think your review should say that…… M B Motor Group did everything I asked of them & more to make sure my purchase went as smoothly as possible when I first bought the car & bent over backwards to accommodate my demands, & when I mistakenly thought that the car had developed a fault, they went above & beyond, & did everything they could possibly do to put my mind at rest & assure me that this wasn't the case.
