A week after placing my order I received an email requesting my prescription, which I had uploaded at the time of ordering. I should have realised there were going to be issues when it took a week to contact me.

Roughly a fortnight later I was asked to review my purchase, although I still hadn't received my glasses.

I have now got my glasses and I can only surmise that whoever ready prescription and order must have worse eyesight than myself. I specifically requested reading lenses but now have glasses that worse than my intermediate pair.

I responded to customer service via their feedback form and still have not had a reply.
All in all as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. I will certainly never use them again.

Still waiting for order after nearly 2 months ! When you do get a reply it's a automated 'your order has been shipped' how long does a system update take?! This company is nothing but a scam. I will be taking action, it's nothing but theft. If you can't fulfill orders then close the website and stop taking orders !

Against all odds — and apparently against my better judgment — I decided to give your low-cost glasses another try after the spectacularly disappointing service I received last time. And here I am once more, firing off multiple emails into what feels like a black hole. On the rare occasion I do get a reply, it’s either abrupt or barely helpful.

At this point, I’m starting to think the “customer care” team might benefit from a rebrand… perhaps “customer don’t care” would be more accurate.Order No.: 1059021

Despite offering a refund this was not actioned, luckily I used PayPal refund within 24 hours

Still waiting for my glasses after 7 weeks, the website said they were in production, now it just says confirmed and apparently I only paid £6.

I have contacted my credit card company for a refund.

The glasses only lasted a month when the screw from the arm fell out. The glasses arrived on the 8th of October, they answered on the 19th of November.
I contacted them for a solution with photos. Their reply was the glasses are outside of their standard policy and are unable to take any action.
Very disappointing as Im waiting delivery for 2 more pairs I had ordered. I wish I hadn't ordered these extra pairs as their customer service isn't worth anything. I thought they sounded good value but as they say you get what you pay for and that is what you get cheap glasses with no customer service.

Poor customer service , I’ve emailed them twice with no response. No contact telephone number to speak to an actual person. Still waiting for my order to arrive…..

On 29/1Ordered prescription glasses. Paid appx 44 GBP. Received confirmation. Went to check status. Company then showed message online saying upgrade to admin occurring and all old orders cannot be accessed at present. Numerous attempts to contact the company were made. They sent email confirming new order with just glass frames for 14GBP. Made contact and told them new order they sent was wrong and missing lenses. Tried to contact them multiple times stating Iwould have to contact card provider and report their poor customer service if this wasn't sorted. I said I was a repeat customer and understood that mistakes occur. They replied that they could not complete my order and refund to be given in 3-7 days. Absolutely abysmal customer service. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

Scammers. Took my money and ignored me.
Can't even be consistent which lie to tell: Are you in Liverpool? Dorset? The USA? Australia?

I literally have glasses in every room so got one pair from spec ***** opticians and 2 from another online retailer and 2 from here, these were literally clear lenses! I complained and got told to take them to a high street opticians! They then didn’t reply to my emails after that

My glasses never arrived and my portal didn’t update from production

Next time I will use another online firm

Can't fault it whatsoever, the price of the specs are great value, the process was simple and straight forward. The only issue is the time it takes from order to deliver, that said it's reflected in the price of the service. Also with good planning, it's not an issue, you continue to use your current specs, until the new ones arrive. Look forward to ordering more in the future

My experience of the website was excellent, as it is very easy to navigate. The choice of glasses is also excellent but my only problem was the delivery - what should have been 5-7 days took several weeks? However, eventually, I was pleased with the service I received from customer services, giving the explanation. I have dealt with Low Cost Glasses many times and will continue to do so - I would recommend them.

Glasses were awful wrong prescription as I could not read with them. They also came tinted which I did not request. Waste of money sent emails got no response then today they want a review. My advice is they give very poor customer service

Great glasses and great value

Go elsewhere for glasses. Ordered glasses with a promise of 4 to 7 days for production. It’s now 19 days and no sign of them. I’ve Emailed them a number of times and they’ve completely ignored me. I used this company a few years ago and they were ok, there now seems to be a problem with the company judging by people having the same experience as me. I now really wish I had bought them off the high st or another company that offers a customer service.

***Update: 06/10/25. The company have eventually replied to my mails and my order is being processed with my prescription attached. I will update further once the order is received ****
I ordered 7 pairs of simple prescription reading glasses on the 26th sept, and uploaded a photograph of my prescription…7 times. After reviewing my Order, my prescription details aren’t attached to any of the glasses. I have tried to contact the company via email 5 times and have received no replies. My order still states processing, 9 days later.

Ordered my glasses on the 16th of September 25. Emailed them three days later to ask if they received my prescription, no answer.
Reached out five days ago to ask for an update via their website, no answer. Glases are still in production, not even shipped yet. Trying to get my money back via PayPal now, this is ridiculous!

The glasses didnt meet my needs, they gave me headaches.
I contacted the company through 2 different avenues and they havent replied

I love my new varifocals, I had them transitional too, which is all I want in a pair of glasses. I went for cheap frames because I liked the colour & I get a lot of compliments for them, yet, they were a fraction of the cost than I have paid in the past. The overall experience was fair, glasses took a while to come & communication was on the low side, however when I did contact them asking where my glasses were they did reply straight away, & a message again to say they were on the way. To be fair I will order from them again, & I have recommended them.
