Good quality and perfect size to fit our small kitchen

In 2021, I contributed to the initial Kickstarter campaign led by Team Loch. Shortly after, the project team realized that shipping to certain countries like mine is nearly impossible (or very expensive). As a result, they requested an additional shipping fee, bringing my total payment to £332. However, team Loch later acknowledged that the shipping costs were too high and offered a refund at the campaign's end. The refund never arrived.

What makes this worse is that Team Loch has been ignoring emails ever since, refusing to resolve these issues. Instead, they have launched a new campaign, which gives the impression of a scam. It feels like they collected peoples money under false pretenses, only to admit later that the product can never be delivered.
It shows bad costumer service and lack of due diligence in researching shipping logistics before accepting backers money.

I like the dishwasher and it does a great job cleaning the dishes. The only thing I don’t like is the rack. It’s awkward and I find it difficult the put the dishes in.

My order has still not arrived. I placed my order on the 19th July and my parcel is still in customs. This is the worst service I have ever come across. Nobody picks up the number displayed on their website, I think that number is just for show. This company is based in Edinburgh so I’m not sure why my order is coming in from China. I would never waste my money on this company EVER AGAIN - they haven’t even given me back my refund for the delivery I had to pay. Appalling!

Good product but communication process from company could have been better

Great product that's compact enough for a small unit. Washes well.

I had an issue after about a year and a half of use, where it stopped working. Support was great in helping troubleshoot, and replacement parts were sent out. Now - Capsule is working well again - it was really hard to keep things tidy without it!

Bought a Capsule to install in our touring caravan. Arrived within the week, slight delay on shipping because Evri decided to take their sweet time picking it up - not Loch's fault.

Seems a great quality little device, fits perfectly under our caravan sink where we've plumbed it in. One of only 2 tabletop models on the market I could find with the right dimensions, didn't go with the French competition because of the import duty and VAT (thanks Brexit) and didn't want to be tied to proprietary cassettes.

Got some liquid detergent off Amazon and used it every day during our holiday the last week. AMAZING no more doing dishes on holiday.

Ran it off our inverter setup as well no problem so we can even use it off grid.

A perfect addition for any one wanting some more luxury and relaxation in their caravan 😉 Should be offered by caravan manufacturers for installing into brand new models!

Founded the project back in 2021 trough kickstarter. Still haven’t received the refund they promised when they figured out that they couldn't deliver to Norway. Be careful. The customer service is not excited.

I first backed the capsule on indiegogo almost three years ago. Naive, I know. About a year ago I was informed that they would not be able to ship to my country. This is despite having payed for shipping initially when purchasing the capsule, and then paying extra money for shipping about a year afterwards (they said as shipping costs had gone up they needed a top up). Well, I asked for a refund and they agreed. I was told I would receive it Q1 of this year. They have stopped responding to my emails. Don't get scammed like me.

Absolute nightmare. I contacted support on the day it arrived because it was stuck on a 90 minute cycle and none of the buttons responded. After letting that cycle complete, I was able to use the dishwahser as normal. I did not follow up with support because I thought it was okay.

Today, a few days later, it poured extremely hot, dirty water all over my kitchen and me toward the end of a cycle - from around the drainage pipe (which was securely attached), the back in general, and somehow from the front as well.

I had to literally toss it into my bath tub while it continued to lose water from all sides all over me to protect my kitchen cart it was on (which is, actually, ruined, among other things).

This has been an absolutely horrible experience. I hope no one ever purchases this dishwasher again. I do not have the box anymore, and I have no intention of finding a box for this dirty, wet machine to go in, nor am I keeping it and it's brown water in my home for a few days while I wait for a response.

Just buy a portable dishwasher with a normal return policy, that ships inside the US. It may be taller and thinner (by a bit) than other options, but the external water tank makes up for that easily. It's also smidge wider and taller than the offical dimensions, so if you measured for a tight fit, good luck!

I was one of the initial investors to get one of these “dishwashers” through the indiegogo crowdfunding platform. After finally receiving it, not once was able to wash anything. I would put soap on the door as instructed and put on every one of the different was cycles possible and the soap just slid down to the bottom and sat there. I spent time back and forth with the company (that took months) swapping parts, sending videos, and never did it work as a dishwasher. It has been a complete waste of $ and time and now I have a large white box that they won’t even take back.

I originally backed this project in May 2021. After multiple manufacturing delays my life circumstances had changed twice and I no longer needed the capsule.
The company offered me a refund Q2 of 2023. I am still waiting for this refund. Every quarter they make excuses as to why they cannot refund, and now they are not even responding.
Very disappointed as I was initially very excited about this project.
DO not use this company.

I love this machine.
Shipping was fast, and it arrived on my BIRTHDAY!!! Not planned that way. The trickiest part is figuring out how much detergent to use. I love a good experiment.
I recommend the CAPSULE to anyone who doesn't want a full-sized dishwasher.

I brought my capsule in june 2023. Installed in my new kitchen in July, after coming back from holidays, I experienced a lot of E4 errors.
I contact the company, and decided to give a chance to the product. I finally stop using it for months and after a few uses I get another E4 errors. I recontact the Loch technologies and they told me to fix it, I need to open it myself.
This is a joke. If something happened, they will say it’s on you.
My advice: don’t buy.

I decided to replace it with a similar product from Daan Tech, the bob dishwasher.
They have a real support apparently.

Enjoying our compact apartment and cooking in our kitchen with everything close at hand, with the Capsule we haven't lost any countertop space as it fits neatly in the same space where we previously had the drying rack. Actually the drying rack still fits next to the Capsule, with the water tank nesting neatly in the rack. Having it work indepentently of plumbing connections works perfectly for us who value flexibility, too.

The capacity of the Capsule keeps impressing: You know, all of us who love stacking a dishwasher as the most satisfying game of tetris, well, this design certainly impresses in capacity and cleans everything perfectly! This super innovative design really gets the job done and still fits within humble kitchen spaces.

Surprisingly, even our kitchen fan filters(!) fit in the Capsule for their regular cleaning.

As an eager early backer, the Capsule was very affordable and I believe it still is with regards to its versatility and performance. Moreover, the team at Loch Electronics have been very responsive and helpful in the event that I needed to contact them.

I've owned a Loch Electronics Capsule dishwasher for about 4 months. It's poured water all over my floorboards at least ten times. The clamp that's meant to keep the waste pipe on the outlet doesn't stay tight, so the pipe just comes off and water sprays everywhere.

There's also the fact that it needs two water tanks to work but they only supply one. The extra one is £49.99. Without a second tank, you'll need to fill up the water tank, start the wash, empty the water tank, refill it, restart the wash and then empty it afterwards. When you factor in loading and unloading the dishwasher itself, if you live alone in a small home, it's probably easier just to do the washing up yourself.

The water tank is also surprisingly delicate. Mine got a hairline fracture, which became a crack, which got bigger, which then resulted in the top of the tank coming completely off and the whole tank falling apart. I ordered a replacement and an extra tank (so £100 on top of the £350 I already spent) a couple of weeks ago but they haven't arrived yet.

I also think it's worth noting that, in their promotional materials, Loch tend to show the dishwasher by a sink, or using a single water tank, but they don't tend to show the pipe being held above the dishwasher.

They also show coloured lights around the front of the unit, in a variety of colours, but the reality isn't as impressive. They don't offer a choice of colour. Nor do they supply the water tanks in purple. They're a dark translucent grey.

In summary, I regret buying this product.

We haven’t needed to use our new dishwasher yet because we’re taking it to our vacation home. The ordering process was simple and the delivery was perfect. We look forward to using it this summer!

I have been using the Loch Capsule dishwasher with RAD for just over 6 months. I have used it at least once if not twice daily. Everything works great and it's changed my life. Everything about it seems to be designed with real thought and care. As a renter I have never had a dishwasher, but Loch has finally given me that luxury. The people at Loch have designed an aesthetically good (IMHO) and functioning looking dishwasher. It fits perfectly on my counter and I don't have to connect it to any existing plumbing. Amazing! They really have incorporated all the necessary essential functions for this product. I did a lot of research on other competing options, and this is the only counter/portable dishwasher that ticked all of my boxes. I live by myself, but I can really see this being so useful for a couple if not a small family. And honestly, if you don't have the option for a dishwasher period, then this would be better no matter what. I would bet that there are people out there that already have a full dishwasher, but never use it because they don't want to have to wait until the dishwasher is full and/or waste water. I can see this being a good option for those people too. I honestly can not wait to see what this company will come out with next. I really couldn't be more pleased. Thank you, people at Loch!
