After an initial error on my part, the shipper refused to ship to the RV resort I’m staying at for work. Had to cancel and ship to my house, took a bit of driving but worth it in the end. Fits perfectly next to the sink in my motorhome. Very convenient to use and quiet.

I got the waste water container after realizing the machine was larger than anticipated for my RV to fit where I wanted it to plumb it. No worries now! No leaks, works perfectly, quietly and it’s saving my time and limited sink/counter space! This is an outstanding product that’s well designed.

The dishwasher arrived in great condition, and was slightly wet inside. I assume it was because it was tested before being shipped. The top of the case was not inserted properly into the side at the back, but it hasn't affected performance. I've been using it daily since getting it, dishes are nice and clean, and I have also used the fruit and vegetable rinse, and the UV sanitizer and it all works great!

On the 28 August i wrote a review using trustpilot in the hope Loch electronics would react and i would be able to talk with them about the two dishwashers i paid for but never received because they dont answer emails nor having a working telephone. Reading the reviews it seems they still "exist" becuase they react on some of the good reviews but dont answer the bad reviews. I dont know what a possible customer could think about buying from a electronic company with the following address: 5 South Charlotte Street Edinburgh Scotland EH2 4AN ( this address is published in their own webpage). Please check this address in google maps: it doesn't look like a company building and less where they build electronics, but worse: NOT ONE SIGN OF LOCH ELECTRONICS...
Besides: No aswers to emails..

Does this company exists??
I still hope somebody from Loch electronics will react and give clear answers and send the two units i paid for.

Sadly there is no possibility of giving a zero star rating to this crowd who took money from backers, promised refunds and have never delivered. There are good mini dishwashers already on the market - I wish I had bought one of those instead of backing a company who could not even get the measurements of its product right, could not ship the product and have not delivered on their refund offer issued in November last year.

This is an incredible product! I bought one for my kid who has a small apartment and one for use on my catamaran. It’s works great!! After ordering 2 there was a little confusion, customer service took the time to verify I meant to order both.
We could not be more satisfied. Fast, energy efficient, and so easy to use. I am going to tell all of my boating friends about this!!

The dishwasher is brilliant and the company is very helpful.

I hate to say that I have a full size portable dishwasher that I dont use.im terrible about doing the dishes.
I hoped that this loch would be the solution and it has been great. After every meal I load it and in 15min put it away. I no longer have dishes in the sink. I can put it anywhere since it has water containers. I love it!

Product is great but customer service is lacking as I reported an issue after receiving my machine and still almost a week later had no response

We have backed the Capsule on Kickstarter and after many delays (which can happen) we received a damaged capsule.

It took them several months to collect it for repair, and then a couple more months to receive it back. It arrived damaged again and in a disgusting state (hairs inside of the capsule, horrible smell of sewers, and a huge layer of dust covering the capsule).

They have sent us videos to fix the capsule, which we declined to do as a) was never used and was within warranty, b) it's not the client's responsibility to repair it, and c) it involved a lot of disassemble of fragile parts and we were affraid of breaking it and then lose the warranty.

It has been 5-6 months without any form of contact from this company and over one year with a damaged product that we can't use. They have sent a message a month ago enquiring if the capsule has been fixed and gone AWOL again.

My partner has now passed way with cancer and was never able to use this dishwasher. I really just want to return the capsule and not to have to deal with this any further. This capsule and company gave us only headaches and pain.

I do not recommend to buy any products from this company, due to the very poor costumer support that we have been experiencing and the fact that we still have a damaged product that we have never used.

I bought a unit it arrived and immediately had a issue it was broken I immediately sent an email to support got a reply 2 days later now still waiting on a reply in my reply to their email unit is still broken not working a video guide showing how to set up the unit needs to be done to help customers with this and some things to look for if the unit isn’t working correctly an easier support system

We received this faster then expected and it works better than we thought possible. We couldn't be happier.

I like how compact it is and i can wash dishes in my trailer 👍👍

Overall, the Capsule DW has performed well in trial runs. The DW arrived missing two front rubber feet that cushion it on the counter. A request to Loch for replacement feet was not answered. Also, I asked for clarification of the use of the Storage function as described in the user guide, which as it turns out is incomplete and unclear in its description of “Storage”. Again, my request for the clarification was not answered. User/owner manual clearly not written for American market.

This machine has been junk from day one. It started acting up after less than two months and they don't really have customer service. You can't even find the manual online. Their entire webpage is just the sales pitch and cherry picked reviews. There is no functional way of getting help from them once they have your money.

Their service number goes to a voicemail. Their helpdesk email takes days to respond.

When we got hold of them they fobbed us off with asking for a video of the machine _not_working_. They wanted us to film the machine NOT WASHING DISHES on our phones and send it to them, in order to get any help. We actually did and we never heard from them again.

The first thing that happened with this lemon was that the display stopped working. Some of the light diodes in the door are constantly on while some have died, so it's impossible to see how many minutes are left or which program is running. They wanted a video of this. They got a video of this. We never heard back. To me - admittedly not an electrical engineer - it seems like the insides of the door gathers moisture. But to them, apparently, it's a delightful little quirk that we have to live with.

The machine locks up for no discernible reason. When it does, we have to unplug it for 30 minutes and restart it.

Sometimes it just dies and doesn't run. This too, apparently, required video evidence - that then went ignored. After two days unplugged it started working again. What use is a dishwasher that regularly needs a long weekend to work?

Today, it gets no power at all. It's just dead. We tipped it while checking the drainage and at least a pint of water came from the door. We called the helpdesk and it went straight to voicemail.

Stay far away from this company.

I am WAY late doing this review, hard to find time to do it. By no means does it mean I am not happy with this dishwasher!
Shipping and delivery was quick and uneventful. Unpacking was easy, just wish it had a description of where all the dividers go, I removed a couple to unpack it and have never figured out where they fit. Not a real issue, cause they probably would have been in the way, but still would like a reference for how they all fit.
Had a small issue during the first 8 or 10 uses, the unit would suddenly switch to plumbed water cause it wouldn't fill from the tank. I only use the tank, no direct water connection. Ran the drain tube out the window of my camper. After a little self motivated troubleshooting, I realized the factory pick up tube was actually touching the bottom of the fresh water tank. Causing the pump to not be able to pull water randomly. Easy fix by cutting off about 2mm of the tube and also cutting two little notches in the bottom end of the tube. That allowed a unrestricted flow into the tube, no problems since.
Unit does an amazing job of cleaning dishes in the short, medium and long cycles. I have learned to use longer cycles for more soiled loads, and to use WAY less detergent than I thought. After the cycle, opening the door slightly helps the dishes dry faster, just to let the humidity out once up to temp.
In closing, I truly love the unit, does wonders for saving time and water, I travel in a camper for work and it is nice to not have to waste precious time washing dishes twice a day. Would buy again, and recommend it to everyone I meet that full time lives in RVs.

I initially bought this when renting as I would not be able to install my own full dishwasher. This has probably turned out to be a better option than the latter. In my flat is only me and my girlfriend so a smaller dishwasher is far more space and energy efficient for our use. I now spend a lot less time doing dishes and am able to continuously load the machine as I use dishes. This is much easier and than putting them in the sink for later. No dirty dishes visible in the kitchen. Now that I have bought my own flat I look forward to building this into my own kitchen. It is very versatile in terms if allowing you to operate it either plumped, through a sink or standalone. It also doesn't hurt that it looks nice enough to draw interest and complements from guests.

Initially I was unimpressed. The display broke within 4 days and the cleaning performance was dismal. But I persevered and I'm glad I did, because it's now working very nicely.
Their support was unusual - they sent me a new display and a link to a video showing me how to replace it. I thought this was odd at first, but what it proves is that this machine is very simple to repair, and that's a rare and valuable thing these days. It took me 10 minutes.
The cleaning performance was down to my choice of detergent. Switching from powder to gel transformed it into a different machine.
I don't agree that it holds 4 place servings. I live alone and I have to run it at least once a day, so I'm not really saving water either. And the UV light thing seems like more of a gimmick - it's unlikely to have any effect on anything you put in facing downwards, eg mugs, pans, bowls etc.
So on the whole I think it deserves 4 stars. It's not been without issues, but it's now working really well, fits nicely in my tiny kitchen, and I'm so happy not to have to wash dishes any more.
