It is without a doubt frustrating to say the least in trying to call any of the stores e.g. Manukau, Sylvia Park, Papatoetoe and the list goes on.
If employers advertise a job in retail and ask that the candidate give the best customer service experience then this is top of the line supreme customer service - not answering a phone that continuously rings.
Bottom line is, if you can't answer your phone then don't have one and find better solutions to your ongoing problems.

Why this take so long to deliver my sandals!!!! I’m really mad I CANT GIVE 0 STAR SO I GIVE ONE!!!!!😡😡 I’m going to aims tommorow and I need the sandals for the marae..... YOU ARE ALL HORRIBLE!! I CANT BELIEVE YOU EVEN HAVE A RATE EXPERIENCE THING HOW EMBARRASSING🙈🙈

I got led lights they broke and they were not sticky
i got ankle braclets they broke straight away and left a big purple mark
i got slime and it was glued shut
I got hairspray it stank so much horrible
Try to get the quality better kmart

1 star for the online nz live kmart chat team!! honestly USELESS francis and bernadette you guys SUCK! half an hour these 2 could not help me using the provided email address used in my order i needed to locate my order number.. they were sending me to the finance team because 1 they were probably to lazy to search the system and 2 had no idea what they were doing...5 stars to Brian from the nz kmart call center using the 0800 number. 2minutes and he was able to locate my order. one of the reasons i stopped working at kmart because the kmart team i worked with were useless...sensor light workers. start working when the boss walks past but as soon as the boss or managers gone they sitting on their asses mucking around trying on shoes and crap and putting items where ever! get it with it!

Awful online shopping. I made a payment and I never got an update of the order being processed. At the end of the week, I called customer service and they said the order is still not yet processed and they can't tell what was causing the delay and the only options I had was to just wait with no estimation of when the parcels can be shipped OR to just cancel the order and place a new order for click/collect. Both options were awful because I did not want to start selecting items I had bought again. Really bad online services KMart!!! This was not a good experience at all!

Did an online Kmart shop and had paid to get it delivered. (I am a solo mum and find taking my wee girl rather stressful when needing to do a bigger shop).
I placed the order and was refunded a few hours later due to the ‘items not being in stock’. Was very frustrating as items that weren’t in stock said it on the website but all those items said there was stock…
I went down to my local Kmart (where i had placed the order) because i needed the items as they were for my daughters up coming birthday. Thankfully i found all but one item in store, but like really…. All but one item and my order of 15 items got refunded… did my order just look like it would take too long and they couldn’t be bothered? Seems abit ridiculous considering there was plenty of stock with everything else i had ordered

Have had good experience in stores but terrible delivery experience.

After noting that laundry racks were out of stock at the local kmart, I ordered an item on 26 May and received update 31 May that an tracking number was assigned. It has been 3 weeks and no package received and tracking has no further updates. I called customer support last week, and was told they would follow up after discussing with a manager. I received no follow up. I called again and was told the only thing they could do was cancel the order. In the meantime, i have not been able to do laundry with no means to dry. I noticed the same laundry rack has since been restocked at shops so hoping click and collect goes better.

I love the items at Kmart but hate the online process!!
All my items in my wishlist disappear everytime I go out of the page even though they saved!! Secondly don't say things are available when they clearly not! Its extremely frustrating going to checkout then nothings available!! Seriously KMART NZ come on!!!

Don't deserve one star. No communication, after a long wait and missing out on other suppliers specials,they refund me my online order. Will never shop online with Kmart again

What a scam. Never got my package and they don't respond. They take your money and don't deliver or want to know and sort it out.
Wrong adress, lost tracking number and it got worse.

Absolutely terrible. Waiting a month for an order to arrive from the store only an hour away? Who is packing the orders? My tracking of the order says it’s now in the South Island after being in Auckland where I live?

This is not acceptable. I can’t even speak to a human on the phone. Two days to respond to an email…ridiculous!

Kmart happily take my money and then sit for a month accruing interest whilst I still haven’t got my products.

No longer shopping with them or any other big businesses when possible. I’m sick of them making money from their inadequacy and lack of care.

Don't even bother trying to register I tried 3 time and it still wouldn't accept my adress.😡

Don't use socialQ as kmart isn't set up for the codes, they still ask you for your name so just another third party demanding you consent to this and that. The kmart staff literally fobbed me off saying "well now you know for next time we don't need a code so you don't need to do that". How on earth is ok to use a third party app and not even be set up to use their system but expect customers to be loyal and consent to everything when there is zero need to.

Bought a peg board, from the closest kmart near us which is an hour away, opened it and it was missing the pegs and shelf so rang customer service, she told me to take it back and get a refund and I told her, it was an hour away to my closest store and if she was gonna pay for my petrol there and back. Then she said no and that was my only option, so I would've lost money going so it was a waste of time, she just kept saying she couldn't help me and when I asked to speak with someone who would help me, she said the same thing again, so frustrating. I rang the actual store i brought it from though and they were so helpful and are sending me another one. Better to go through the actual store then their call centre for sure.

The worst customer service I’ve been trying to get a refund for the last 3 months and they reply 1-3 days apart a different person each time I guess because they ask the same old questions without reading the emails prior.
Very annoying.

Attended kmart store, asked attending clerk about afterpay and phone service, the reply "it's a bit patchy"...
found out that kmart shouldn't have gone down the afterpay path unless they sort out the phone reception problem....because standing at the check out with purchase timing out more than enough times is grrrrrr .
