Walgreens has to be the worst at filling prescriptions! They screw all kinds of things up. That is what their business is based on. You would think they would know how to do that by now! Make sure you check your pills thoroughly BEFORE you walk away from the counter!!!

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a recent interaction I had with your pharmacy staff- she stated her name was Danni. Danni was extremely rude and condescending- it felt like she was trying to push some authority on me. This is at the Walgreens location: 1850 Central ave in Colonie, Ny. 

I was treated in a manner that I found to be unprofessional and dismissive when attempting to refill my prescription. In addition, I was informed that my medication would not be filled if I came to pick it up, which was both confusing and concerning.

I was told that my prescription is on a 30-day schedule and that it could not be filled until tomorrow, as that would be considered “day 30.” As the last prescription was picked up the morning of March 18- due to it not being ready the day before, their error and today is April 16th, based on my understanding and records, today is in fact day 30. This discrepancy was not clearly explained, and the tone used during the interaction was discourteous.

Additionally, this is not the first time I have experienced an issue with timely refills. Last month, my prescription was also not filled on time, which has created an ongoing pattern of inconvenience and concern.

As a patient relying on timely access to prescribed medication, this situation caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I would appreciate clarification on your refill policy, as well as assurance that staff communication with customers.

This is the worst pharmacy on earth. You will literally get sick waiting on your medicine. They are incompetent slow and don't have a clue as to what they are doing. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Walgreens barely has any employees. They're short-staffed all the time. They never answer the phone. When I went through the drive-thru, they couldn't take care of me, so I had to go inside. Horrible and sad—this pharmacy is so disorganized. I never thought I would see Walgreens like this. If there is a store manager, he should get fired. He's not doing his job.

the one at 36th and Burlingame says open till eleven but really closes when ever they want doors locked by 10:30 with employees inside just staring at you. I could have went to the one at 76thstreet if this one didn't say open till eleven but nope they false advertise and now I'm screwed for the night thanks walgreens

Would give zero stars if an option! They told us a medically necessary medication would not be available for 2 days then when it was due to be filled, I called and they told me they can’t get it! This was life and death!

They are the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. I have 2 prescriptions same ones every month , they never have the prescription in stock .order So I call a week ahead of schedule to remind them . I call the day before I’m coming They say they have to order ! I’ve given this pharmacy a year to get better . It isn’t getting any better. They aren’t even attempting to appreciate their customers they don’t care .

Walgreens on Amboy Ave in Edison, NJ, is probably the worst pharmacy ever. Long lines to the front of the store with 10 people behind the pharmacy counter, pharmacists with inflated egos (particularly “Dr” Samantha Tull) who think they are authorized to tell patients what doctor they have to see to obtain prescriptions, and mistakes and delays in prescriptions and in messages about prescriptions. Absolutely do not go here. You are safer with literally any other pharmacy.

We had a need on Easter Sunday for a prescription so used Walgreens virtual (BIG MISTAKE) the nurse practitioner was very good and sent the prescription to Walmart at 1pm ; turns out under Florida rules Walmart cannot accept a prescription without the preceding physician putting their name to it: sent numerous messages to Walgreens virtual; finally at 8.40 pm they say the presiding physician sent a new script: 8.40 pm when no one is open; rang Walmart to check and the only thing they have had is a script from the NP at 1pm
Rang Walgreens to be told they don’t do refunds!
So about as much use as a chocolate tea pot ; avoid at all costs and just wait for ER to open as they have been a total waste of time and taken money from us for a service not provided, will never use them again

When a company holds its customers hostage by only giving sale prices in exchange for your phone number, you know they are in trouble. I don't want a relationship with you goddammit I just want to buy my stuff and leave. It's an invasion of privacy. Somewhere a Walmart executive is laughing his ass off with glee.

Walgreens is the worst pharmacy you can imagine. I had a prescription transferred there and when I called to check on the status, the person answering the phone said it wasn’t even there. I called the pharmacist that transferred it there and she gave me the fax confirmation so I called them back. The girl looked again said it still wasn’t there and that it can take up to 24 hours. I asked speak to the pharmacist and 32 minutes later ( I was on hold), I called again. The same person picked right up immediately. I asked why I was pulled for 32 minutes and when I call back, she picks directly up. She said I’ll get the pharmacist when he gets on very condescending says he has a stack of papers that he hasn’t looked through. I could be in there. He said to come by right before closing. I will never send anything to Walgreens again

Walgreens is the worst company I have ever dealt with. It puzzles me how they haven't been buried by lawsuits with all of their shady practices. Their systems are horrible. I go with my friend to assist them in picking up prescriptions since they are disabled. Part of the reason I do this is that friend has issues with their prescription literally every time they go to pick it up. LITERALLY every time. Soetimes they have to call the doctor and everything. 90% of the time it is Walgreens stupid junky system's or lazy staff's fault. I go to other pharmacies and they do so much of the work for you because it's their job. Not Walgreens. They will give you the runaround. It's like they enjoy it. Also, never get a gift card for someone for there. They suck to try and use. Your remaining balance may get mysteriously drained after you use part of it in the store. Pretty sure a sketchy manager stole mine. Their crappy systems may or may not allow them to work.

Pharmacy staff is rude and dismissive, especially the younger staff members. Exceptionally long wait times, as in five hours for pain medication. If you ask about the wait time, they respond as if bothered by your questions. Been a customer over 30 years, but will definitely be switching to another Pharmacy altogether!

It always amazes me just how rude this company is. You would think being in the Healthcare industry that they would try. This company does not even try to help you.
One person tells me that they are going to give me 3 days of... Get ready blood pressure medicine. When I went to pick it up the pharmacist tells me NO we aren't giving you any you will have to wait until Monday when we can get ahold of your doctor.
Do you think my blood pressure rose?
I have had them tell me so many times that they are out of a pain medicine I have to take. Out of it! I have been taking the same medicine for 10 years and they are out. They lie to your face all of the time too. They will tell you they are calling your doctor but they don't. It's a sorry company.

Walgreens Sebring North pharmacy just cannot figure out how to use the UHC benefit card. I went 4 times with 4 different employees; none knew how to access the benefit!! I went across the street to Publix and had no problem. They said people switch to them from Walgreens almost daily!!

Problem with a Walgreens brand Nice Pistachios. In years of purchasing these quality has generally been 4/5. Shipping terrible. Multiple deliveries for one order. No stock. This time very poor quality Pistachios. Six of the 24oz bags all poor quality overall. Walgreens states 100% satisfaction guaranteed. The mission is uphill and inconclusive because customer service email is worthless. Shuffled around with multiple agents. None with an answer or the will or know how to resolve it.

I called Walgreens and Tanya in the pharmacy helped me change my scripts from CVS. She was so patient and helpful I couldn't wait to meet her in person. I did that today and she's all that she was on the phone. She's a gem. Thank you for staffing with such warm and friendly people!

F Walgreens. I am 75 and like to order online for delivery. Especially the protein drinks. 3 of my last 4 orders didn't deliver everything I ordered. I get a "Return Card" for the items ordered, but not delivered. They should issue a refund instead of keeping my money and making me try to use these "return cards". Pain in the ass. I have spent several hours the last few days and 3 calls to Walgreens about one of these cards that shows I have a balance but will NOT work at checkout. In fact, it Fs up my order and I can't even complete my order online if I try to use the card. What a bunch of crap.
Once I get this last card redeemed I am DONE WITH WALGREENS.
