I ordered a shoe mon August 12th, 2023 but it was delivered it to the wrong home. Maybe in another area. I’m not sure because the billing address and shipping address were not the same as they were when the order was placed. There is photographic evidence that the order clearly went to the incorrect home. When I contacted Journeys and told them what happened they stated they would not refund or replace the shoes because it “says” delivered. I even sent photos showing my home and the wrong house that FedEx sent my package to. I called and emailed several times and was told a replacement with a tracking number would be sent out. After not receiving an email being sent after a week. I contacted them again today (August 25th). Now Journeys is stating to me that a “decision” has to be made regarding a replacement and they will “email me”. I asked how long would it take and they again say to wait “a few more business days”. I feel as if they are stalling so that my time to get a refund runs out. I asked them if I should contact my bank instead and was told we will not help you if you contact the bank. Well, I mean are you really helping at this point though Journeys? This has been a horrible experience and I will no longer spend my money with or be recommending this company.

Amazing customer service
I was in this store yesterday. In the middle of crazy back to school shopping. I was tired and a little moody my wife and kids and felt with CoCo at the Cape Girardeau Mo store in the mall. This girl was amazing not o my dis she keep a smile on her face the whole time we joked around she made the shopping experience so so much better. She ran back and forth u til the kids decided what they wanted. Never got an attitude or anything. And gave it kids can be jerks some times. She handled it like a pro. At the end while checking out we meet her boss Carissa. Let me tell you they both had us laughing made it great.. because of These 2 girls we will be back I appreciated the amazing customer service and great attitude thanks girls.now we look forward to many more visits to this journeys.

Delivered to the wrong address
My $100 shoes were delivered to the wrong house, the picture taken proves that but Journeys would not reimburse me and told me I have to contact Fed Ex. I filed a claim with Fed Ex and am waiting for their investigation to conclude. Journeys has horrible customer service! They should replace my shoes or reimburse me and then file a claim with Fed Ex themselves!!!! I will never buy from Journeys again!

Purchased $400 in shoes and $70 back pack NO points earned
Purchased $400 in shoes plus a $70 back pack on a different day. Associate took name and phone number and email address on 7/23. Told me about points earnings, received email about items that was part of my purchase (store did not have one pair in my size in stock and shipped directly to me). Shopped in different store the next week and got a back pack for $70, associate pulled my account up with my email address. Went to website two weeks later to check points, NO points. Called toll free number, was told I have to claim points within 7 days online. What other store does this bait and switch? More importantly, why collect this information at the counter AND start emailing me if I am not earning points from the purchase date? AND Journeys is texting me as well. Nope. Taking $470 worth of products back.

I called to inquire about my package that was intended to be delivered yesterday 8/8/23. I received an email saying it was delivered while I was at work. After work there is no package. I wait until the next afternoon, again after work to see if maybe the package was delivered after the fact. Nope. I call customer service and I am told that because the delivery driver took a picture of the package that there is nothing they can do for me. So I get transferred to a supervisor, who reiterates that because a picture by a delivery driver was taken that she can’t do anything. Can’t replace the item that I paid for, cannot track where it could have gone, couldn’t process a refund for the item either. How can nothing be done? I go to the police station to make a report and I am told for a lack of better words, that “it’s great I filed it, but respectfully there is nothing the police can do.” HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have bought shoes exclusively from journeys since I had my first job at 16. Never had a bad experience until now, and I am flabbergasted, I spent over $40 in shoes to be delivered for them to never get to me and be told “oh well”. RIDICULOUS. if I could write a bad review on every platform I would. And I will.

Springfield mo store, kendall is the girl working, I paid for a pair of vans they upped charged me, I turned around and went back and told him the sticker on the shoe was a different price. She told me she could not do that, and she would not give me what the shoe price was so they gave me a refund, she got super hateful. I asked her name she told me Kendal and then she said do you want me to spell it for you? Manager was standing right there and never said a word to her. I told the manager I’d go above her and she refunded me and then turned around and told me she’d sell me the shoe for the correct price customer service in there was absolutely pathetic that Kendal girl stood there and argued with me as a customer, right in front of her manager…

The worst shipping and customer service I have ever experienced. DO NOT HAVE SHOES SHIPPED FROM THIS COMPANY.
So to start off I traveled to a journeys outlet so my husband and I could have matching red hey dudes for the fourth of july. My husband's size was in store mine was not. So we asked I'd we had them shipped would they arrive by the fourth. Not one but 2 associates assured me that they would. This was on 06/24/2023. Its now 06/29/2023 and my shoes are still in processing. I called customer service and got hung up on the first time. Then I had to call again. Where I'm now being told my shoes won't arrive until the fifth by the latest. I've been told for 3 days now that they would have a tracking status by the next day. I explained I only bought the shoes for a specific day and occasion. Had we been rightfully told that they couldn't arrive by the 3rd. I offered to pay for expedited shipping. I'd have gone to another store, anything to have these shoes on time. In which they told me where we have your account noted and will reach back out to you. That they don't know why they haven't shipped and If I was this disappointed I could return them when they arrive. The customer service is ridiculous. They lied about their shipping policies and tried to tell me this day 2 of waiting in shipping. It's been 5 days, excluding the weekend it's been 3. No reason they should still be processing and the fact that they lied to begin with you would think they would have better service to fix this mistake. Instead they said they can't do anything and to call back if they don't arrive by the fifth. Proceeding to end the call by telling me to make sure I check put their online sales. They can't even get the shoes I already purchased to me why would I ever buy another pair from them? Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. Famous footwear has much better customer service. They at least told me If i ordered online I would get a better deal but they wouldn't arrive by the fourth. Not lie just to make a sale. Then tell me we'll your shoes will arrive 24-48 hrs later than originally promised and I can return them then. Save your time and energy because this company doesn't care about anything other than making money off their customers.

If I could’ve not given them any stars I absolutely would have. First time buyer and I will NEVER order from this company again and if you’re smart you won’t either. I ordered a pair of $70 K Swiss and paid for next day air on a Thursday, did not receive them until today. Can’t get a refund for the next day shipping. Then, They have charged me 3 times for these shoes. The order went through with no complications and I locked my card directly after the purchase and yet I’ve still been charged and currently have another charge pending. I’ve contacted them multiple times and they are giving me the run around. I’m currently in the process of filing charges against the company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

This company has the worst customers service ever. They take pride in their own mistake, no attom of remorse. Twice the send me the wrong order and when i complained i was compelled to send back the wrong order before they could even send me back the right order and they demand i send an evidence from fedex before they could go ahead to process my order. Most companies that i know will put the customer first to make sure they send the right order immediately. But this company from their customer service to their managers are very rude and don't care about their customer. So i urge anyone who care to read this message pls stay clear from this company if you have to buy their just be ready to face issues if they send you the wrong order. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone.

Terrible Canadian customer service
Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. Received my new balance shoes but the description says they are suede, more synthetic, definitely not worth $130.00. Called to return them but was told I have to pay to ship them back. First pair I ordered were suede but looked like they were worn and dirty. They sent me a return label but apparently now they don’t do that for Canada. I was offered a solution to drive 2 hours to Ottawa within the next 365 days to return them cause there are no stores in Quebec.. REALLY. Stay far away.

Horrible! Ordered a pair of high top leather Converse 3/12/23. After about 2 days got the order and tracking number. The website says delivers in 3-5 business days. Here we are 3/25/23, several emails and calls later. Supposedly a lost order form was made from FedEx…lies. I don’t think they ever had the shoe in stock! Now I have to wait 9-12 business days for them to rectify this issue! Customer service is worthless. And why I’m I waiting this long to be reimbursed when it took Journeys 9-12 seconds to remove the money from my account?!? I will never shop online or in store with Journeys again!

The customer service is terrible
I did a refund for some shoes I bought & my refund amount was LESS than my actual order. I contacted customer service 3 times just for them to tell me there was nothing they can do. Customer service agents don't even know what they're talking about either. One agent told me they don't refund tax & another said they do refund tax but they don't refund shipping; however, I calculated the numbers and the numbers do not match. Although it's a little difference, it's the principle. They steal from their customers so don't ever shop here

I would not recommend using this site to buy anything. I ordered a pair of shoes and they sent me the wrong size. So I talked with someone on the website and they suggested I return it to the store which is over an hour away from me which is why I ordered online in the first place. These shoes are selling out everywhere so I wanted to make sure I got them. The person I spoke with assured me it was not a common mistake. So I ordered again planning to return the other shoes when I got a chance. I open my package and AGAIN I am sent the wrong size of shoes, two sizes too small this time.

These people are careless…
These people are ridiculously careless when it comes to customer service. I ordered an item and accidentally chose the wrong shipping address and emailed them within 2 minutes of placing the order to change it. Over the next 2 days I sent 3 seperate emails about the issue and they still managed to send it to the wrong address. Now I will never get my item and have lost my money as well. Great job Journeys, take a hint and get better staff.

CS is friendly when they respond, ordering process needs work
I ordered a pair of shoes on 2/22 and the order immediately moved to 'processing.' Great!
The website states 3-5 day delivery to my location, so when the order status didn't change on Monday, I contacted CS to see if it was out of stock or something.
Stock issues come up a lot when you do most of your shopping online - I'd rather not be surprised and have to scramble to find a new pair of shoes as mine are pretty worn but not quite falling apart yet. I have tiny feet and weird support needs, skate shoes with weird insoles are the most comfortable, but only certain shapes. It sucks.
I still have not received a response to my inquiry.
I talked to CS via Live Chat today because I was going to cancel my order.
I will admit it was because I had reached out to see what was going on with my order and I was a little upset I didn't receive anything, not even a "hey, we're looking into this but it could take a while to get back."
Talking with the CS rep today, since the order is shown as 'processing,' it cannot be canceled. If it's processing immediately after you order doesn't that just mean you can't cancel orders? I would have also been okay with that if it were advertised anywhere.
I was also told a completely different turnaround time from the CS rep than what is shown on the estimated delivery on the product I ordered and my receipt.
So different that had I known I would have just settled for what was in the local stores I visited. I may not get my shoes for another two weeks.
The physical stores are great, they just don't normally carry the type of shoe I like to wear anymore or if they do they don't have any small sizes. Ordering directly from the stores is an option but both are over 45 minutes away.
Rating two stars only because the CS rep I spoke to via Live chat was super nice & pretty helpful. They just aren't allowed to cancel orders once they start processing.
Edit: This evening they just tried to bill me a second time for the same shoes even though I'd already paid. One star it is.
Edit: had to dispute with my payment provider because they said the payment failed but it was already taken out of my account!!! Still couldn't cancel the order. Zero stars if I could.
Journeys, you suck. I will never give you any of my money again.

Atrocious customer service
I was recommended sizing up in a pair of $140 UGG slippers by a store employee who evidently had no experience with the product. Long short I should have been recommended to stay with my true sizing. After a painful phone call with costumer service I was given the go ahead to send the slippers back for an exchange at my own expense for shipping ($20 which I thought was weird when it was a mistake on their end) and now the slippers have mysteriously never arrived as a return, vanished into thin air and they will not do anything about it. What a joke. Now I am out $160 for a pair of non existent slippers. Absolutely disgusting consumer service with zero accountability. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Selling used dirty shoes online
Ordered a pair of shoes online. WHITE shoes. Received them today and they're dirty! They've been worn and have scuffs and a stain on one shoe. I called customer service right away and they said take them back to a store for exchange. I'm not driving 35 miles to exchange a pair of shoes I ordered online. That's the reason I ordered online because there isn't a store near me. Then they tell me I have to wait for an email to come requesting pictures before they will send me a return label. So first they send dirty used shoes, and I now, not only have to wait longer for them to correct their mess up but now I have to prove my claim? For and exchange?! Are you serious?! Shoes are going back for a refund now. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT JOURNEYS AGAIN!

The store manager, Meadow James was very helpful in assisting me exchanging Uggs short boot and ordering the Ugg Tall boot in black. She was attentive and very courteous. I will do repeat business with Journeys for myself and my family shoes needs.
