I would fully recommend buying with Jones homes. We were originally apprehensive about moving and buying a new build however this worry was alleviated once we visited the Hillside Way site at Harthill and were able to view the quality in the show home.

Most of our stress and apprehension of moving house has been eased with the simply move scheme offered by Jones . With so many added extras in the property, along with the moving package (stamp duty paid, £3000 towards estate agents fees and contribution to moving fees). The company has facilitated the sale of our current property through simply move. This included weekly support from our sales advisor Sandra Wakefield. Sandra was able to liaise with our selling agents to monitor potential buyers and guide us through the process of achieving the quickest sale possible to secure the reservation on our new home.

We can’t thank Sandra enough for working tirelessly to provide us with the best experience, being so knowledgable of the whole process and is overall a lovely person. Thank you for always being at the end of a phone or email to update and reassure. We appreciate all of your help in making our move possible :)

The whole experience with Jones Homes has been brilliant from the start. They’ve been extremely helpful and kept us in the loop throughout the whole process.

David Gibson was the sales advisor working on Saturday when we went to have look around. We fell in love with the show home style of house, we spoke with David and he was not pushy with us, he wanted to give us plenty of thinking time to make sure this was the right decision for us. We felt this experience was one of the best experiences to have when buying a home as this will be our forever home. The experience David gave us made us feel this was the right decision therefore we purchased our forever home with Jones Homes.

Jones homes are a professional developer.

I love their new home’s design - you can see the quality build over some of the other developers.

Like any new home you will get snagging issues - these are normal and it’s how the developer handles these types of challenges.

Jones has always acted fast and ensured things are fixed quickly.

The team from sales and Paul construction site manager have always been available to me to help resolve issues as quickly as possible. Paul has always been approachable and assisted me with all my snagging issues, even coming to the us a number of times to check on the property.

I have no hesitation in recommending Jones and providing a 5 star rating.

A very competent sales adviser and site manager. Very helpful and capable. A good quality construction with the features we wanted. Most snags addressed quickly and successfully with only a couple outstanding.

Jones Homes made our experience purchasing our beautiful home smoothly, very caring and they always kept us updated throughout the process from reservation to moving in and the after care was excellent. I would recommend Jones Homes.

Bought the house in 2019. The set up of the estate is pretty good. they ensure all properties aren't overlooked by each other. However, when you spend a lot of money on a detached house, you don't really want "affordable" housing plonked over the road with scruffy/poor people who don't behave very well. (just sayin!). Now on to the build quality. Unfortunately, I.m gunna say "shit", not all but enough to make you question why you bought the house. Brick work outside and design is pretty good. However, a lot of the interior (which only gets a 2 year warranty btw is terrible quality. We had a flood from poorly fitted pipes in the upstairs bathroom, half the plug sockets don't work, the kitchen design and fitting is shoddy ie drawers are loose and/or brake, much of the fittings arent done properly so there are gaps everywhere. Also the "soft close" hinges just fell off on the majority of kitchen doors. The internal doors are an absolute joke, to say cheap would be an understatement. I've just had to replace one as the handle jammed which meant the door was frozen and needed coming off. I literally bought the cheapest door I could find which was £30, with handle and fitting was probably £50. Its 10 times better than the crap they fitted. There are other things but I haven't got all day. Anyway, Oh one more thing, the grass bits which are attached to your house arent actually yours, they pay a company to oversea them (which you have to pay extra for!) but they don't actually do anything with them ie cut, prune, maintain. All they do is send you invoices and letters of complaint if there's anything wrong. The end, thanks for reading.

Customer service is just fantastic. Thank you for making my experience buying Jones home a fantastic experience . I have no complaints what so ever . Very approachable . We moved in May 2024 to a plaster beetle infested property. The site manager confirmed they had been a huge leak underneath the upstairs bathroom but we wouldn’t have any issues moving forward.

Within 2 days the plaster had become mouldy and we had an infestation of player beetles. Baring in mind plaster beetles take 5 months to hatch, this had been a problem way before we moved in (yet they allowed us to anyway).

Jones agreed to pay to wipe the mould off, hire an exterminator and repair the skirting boards once we were happy.

Our main concern was the bugs at a surface level were killed but we could never locate the source without ripping the plaster or carpet up. Obviously that would be such a heavy bill and way over the top for a multi million £ company.

Low and behold 5 months later, we’re now infested again. Imagine my shock.

Customer services are absolutely useless and are now refusing to take responsibility for this as ‘bugs can enter the property at any time’. Absolute farcical answer when this has been highlighted since day 1. It’s apparently up to us to sort out the mess the builders have put us through.

God knows how they’ve got 4/5 stars, absolute circus

We moved into a Stratton II home in December and we're so happy that we chose to move to a Jones Home property. After purchasing a new build home 19 years ago we always said never again however Janette in the site office helped us to realise that Jones Homes are a very different builder; right from the build itself to the appliances installed, their homes are another level. We certainly wouldn't have bought another new build if it wasn't for Janette; so Janette, thank you, we love our home and thank you for all of your support.

Yes there were snags when we moved in, you accept that with a new build property, however Billy the site manager is absolutely brilliant and works with you and your timescales to get things done and to a great standard. The team they've sent have been incredible and we can't thank them enough for their hard work and patience.
Aidy is just amazing and a superb representative for Jones Homes. Every site needs an Aidy.
John from CRC is literally a magician in how he repairs damages.
Liam from CRC should do all sealant for Jones, he’s quick and a perfectionist.
Chris the plumber is great, thinks out of the box and achieved more than any of us thought possible. He’s even adjusted our outside light.
Martin from the customer service team has a fantastic approach and is also a perfectionist.
Andy the joiner is a lovely guy, great at his job and nothing is too much for him.
The father and son electricians were great and ensured that their work was to a high standard and efficient.

All of those we've met with share the view of ensuring that their work is of a standard they’d want in their homes, one that is absolutely perfect for their roles and they certainly practice what they preach. If only the entire building trade could take that approach. Also all of them are massively personable, attentive and a pleasure to spend time with

We're so happy we chose to invest in a Jones Home.

From initial viewing of the plot to completion the process was smooth and quick. The sales team were very customer focused and approachable.

On completion the on site team have been nothing but amazing special shout out to Sam he has been so good and made the stress of moving much easier. There have only been very few snagging issues which have been dealt with promptly. The customer care team have also been amazing and I haven’t had any issues with that side of things.

The only issue we had was when we wanted to reserve the plot we had a house to sell so we had to use the assisted move scheme. We signed the paperwork at the beginning to do this and Jones agreed to pay £3k towards fees. On completion the £3k was not made by Jones. An admin error on the paperwork meant this was missed off by office staff. We had to wait 3 weeks before receiving the money which in my opinion is pretty disgusting. The sales director stated that it was missed off one of the forms (which we should have picked up!) however I sent in other documents which showed the agreement and her response was things change along the way! Even though the sales advisor agreed that it was her fault she had missed it off and that it was agreed as part of the sale. Like I said 3 weeks waiting and us having to chase daily for that amount of money and the sales director basically saying sorry for the inconvenience is not acceptable. Even the onsite staff were chasing this daily! That is poor customer service and definitely changed our views on Jones as a company which is a shame when the people that work hard onsite are amazing.

The 3 stars are basically because we were left three weeks £3000 out of pocket and no compensation or anything offered for the stress and anxiety that caused and having to chase daily when we both work full time! The sales director may not feel that £3000 is a large sum of money but for us it is! She has also failed to respond to our last email which again is very disappointing.

The two guys above came to fix our shower screen and also fix our squeaky landing floorboards. They arrived early, cracked straight on with the job with no messing about and got it done and dusted. We’ve had Ben out a few times to fix the odd job but we cannot fault either one of them.
Very professional, very knowledgeable and a great pair of lads.
Thanks for your hard work guys and for getting it all sorted for us so close to Xmas!

Still waiting on our garden Snagging list had contractors turn up 3 times and do nothing , have now reported this to NHBC as getting no information back from a very poor customer service.
Our ceilings look like a underground map because they only tape joints and nails falling out was told by a director of Jones Homes this is for us to repair and pay for , I asked him to leave my house as I cannot deal with idiots.
Also roof tiles came off and nearly damaged my car called customer service same old blah blah.
If I do not get any satisfaction I shall be taking legal action as I have paid only a half a million for my home and the building standards are poor

The house was absolutely immaculate, the service from start to finish was excellent especially from your sales coordinator at the Burgess Hill site of Folders Grove, Rachel Worley was brilliant, from chasing up the solicitors in the chain every week and keeping me updated down to sorting out any last minute hitches, Rachel was professional all the way through. Also, Paul the site manager at Folders Grove with his thorough demonstration of systems at the property, I’ve been very impressed and having looked at several competitors in the area, the build quality is top draw. Can’t wait to move in on Friday.

We love our beautiful new home at Shurland Park Minster-on-sea. Jeff and Rachel were friendly professional and made everything easy. Our house is built to perfection, we couldn't be happier.

From the first time we went into the sales office the excellent and professional support from Julie helped us through the whole purchasing process keeping us well informed. It was a pleasure to deal with Julie, her naturally charming, approachable personality and responsible attitude was highly appreciated and put us at ease.
Once we moved in, we had several snags which you would expect with a new build. The site manager Vic Thomas and Charlie arranged to resolve the snags quickly. We appreciate the work done by everybody who came to do the repairs. All work was done professionally and to a high standard.
The house is nice and warm, not to mention in a superb location. A great option for us was to choose tiles, floor, etc in advance to personalised the house to our taste ready for when we moved in.

Can’t fault Karen, absolutely top class. Jones homes too for being so patient with everything that was thrown at us (and there was a lot!)
