I’ve had a good experience with the IFIT Rio Rancho team. Half the battle is mindset. I have enjoyed working with Alysia because she keeps me focused, motivated, and encouraged to keep going. Shocking Lack of Support from iFIT – Buyer Beware
I’m writing this to warn others about how iFIT handles warranty issues – particularly if you’re not the original purchaser, even when the product is practically brand new and faulty.
I received a NordicTrack X32i treadmill from a close friend after her farther sadly passed away not long after buying it. The machine had barely been used – under 20 miles when I received it, and only around 40 miles in total now. It was purchased less than a year ago and has always been kept in pristine condition.
Soon after I started using it, it asked for a software update. The software update resulted in the screen flickering and now is unusable. I contacted iFIT and provided everything they asked for: model/serial numbers, photos, videos, and proof of purchase from the original buyer’s account.
Despite this, iFIT refused any help because I wasn’t the original purchaser, even though the actual owner is deceased and no one else can legally pursue the warranty. I asked for an exception given the circumstances – especially since:
- The machine is well under a year old
- The fault began after their own software update
- There has been no misuse or damage
- The product is known to be affected (as confirmed in a US class action: Balfour et al. v. iFIT Health and Fitness, Inc.)
I was met with a flat refusal. This situation has made me reconsider whether we can continue with iFit at all. It’s incredibly disheartening to feel unsupported after putting our trust into the brand. As things can’t be put right, I now have to explore alternatives, such as Peloton or Technogym, even though that’s not what I want. I would reluctantly be forced to resell the equipment, though I have serious doubts about finding a buyer, particularly given the complications surrounding ownership transfer, even though the products are less than a year old, have only double digit mileage, and are still under warranty.
For a high-end product and subscription-based platform, this level of support is unacceptable. I’ve lost confidence in both the quality of the equipment and the integrity of the company.
If you’re thinking of investing in iFIT or NordicTrack, I urge you to read up on known screen issues and think carefully – especially if you’re buying second-hand or gifting equipment. The warranty won’t protect you, even in the most reasonable of situations.

Warranty Refused Because: iFIT claims warranty is non-transferable, however the small print on the Sales invoice, clause (13) refers only to “the buyer” and makes no mention of “Original owner” or “Non-transferable” warranties.

I reported faults over 4 weeks ago and still waiting for an engineer
I purchased a bike jist over 4 weeks ago. 2 of the threads didn't work properly on the screws. I thought it was me so out the the pedals on loosely but the one fell off. I emailed the customer service over 4weeks ago. 3 weeks ago I received an email about an engineer saying they would contact me after 2 weeks. Which is abysmal anyway as its a £500 bike i have been unable to sue properly since the day i bought it. I chased as I ha ent heard anything and was told they wpuld chase. Half a week later still no contact from an engineer! It's not on. I will be making a formal complaint and looking into my legal rights this weekend. I have arthritis and bought this to try and loose weight before my holiday which is looking less likely!

After I financed a rowing machine from Norditrack. This company signed me up for a membership to their services without consent. I had to call, complain, and get refunded. Illegal.

The company says they notify you of renewal, but dont.
The company says they notify you by email 30 days prior to auto subscription renewal, but I did not receive any emails in my inbox, junk, or spam accounts. I noticed the renewal charge on my credit card statement and called to cancel the renewal, but they did not offer any resolution because it was past the 30 day requirement. This is very shady business practice because by the time you notice the credit card charge on your statement, you have already past the 30 day cancelation notice date. First of all, they should send out the email which was not received, and secondly, they should provided 60 days cancelation policy to give adequate time past receipt of a credit card statement with the charge on it. Having no possible resolution is not customer service. I will not be doing business with iFIT in the future.

Incredible Value for the Price!
I'm blown away by what you get for the cost of this bike. I've seen bikes with similar aspects that are double the price of this one. However, this one delivers a great experience without breaking the bank.

I like my Nordictrak bike and treadmill but these guys have absolutely the worst support system. Dropped calls, difficult to understand techs, unnecessary questions and extra-long waits are all part of for the course when you call in. So if you like their gear go ahead and buy it but, pray to God it never has an issue and you have to call them for support.

The iFit AI Coach is buggy and overall unreliable. When it works, it is effective. It learns your fitness thresholds and designs a program that helps you push the envelope when appropriate and cut back to recovery workouts when appropriate. It Works great for a few weeks and then, just when you've come to rely on it, it malfunctions, throws you under the bus with no guidance and tech support are unresponsive with fixing the glitches.
Great potential but buggy, unreliable alpha software not recommended for those serious about their fitness programs.
07/03/2025 Addendum:
It's been a month of continuously malfunctioning and unreliable service from iFit. I've reached out to them twice through their technical support service and their response has been nonexistent. I've only received a lip-service, form letter type response and nothing else. iFit customer service is absolute garbage.

Terrible Customer Service
I have a ProForm Sport CX bike. It had barely been over a month since the purchase when a rattling noise started coming from the belt housing unit when pedalling. I have twice initiated a conversation with iFit customer service, supplied video evidence of the issue, answered follow-up questions (which now feels like an attempt at stalling). This has gone on for nearly a month now. My response requests are being ignored. I have yet hear from them whether the product I received was damaged in the first place or that this is the quality I can expect from the ProForm range. Either way, not happy, wouldn't recommend.

Ifit sell faulty products
Ifit sell faulty products. Then offer a replacement or refund immediately. Which they then take back in the next email saying they will repair the item.
8 months later. The item has been assessed by the technician, found faulty. Ordered parts. Couldn't fix the item with the wrong parts. Wasting my time and a shift at work to be home.
Now, 8 months on I'm still waiting to get it fixed or replaced and I've been told they need to send a technician out to assess the bike. That they already did 8 months ago. It didn't magically fix itself. It's actually getting worse. So the technician calls once to say he can re assess the bike that wasn't fixed. On a weekend when I was out. They wait to give you 5 minutes notice. Then, 2 months on,I've never been contacted again about a day to assess the bike that's already been assessed.
Worse customer service ever.

I have tried calling more than once
I have tried calling more than once. They are absolutely no help. My monitor stopped working. The close at 5pm. I have called more than once at 4pm.....no not a time zone difference. I wait on the line for 45 minutes more than once. YES, stupid me. But then I hang up, try to call back 445 every time they tell me to call back during regular business hours. Horrible service. I called once while not near the bike so i could schedule a technician to come out. I couldn't even do that. I already went throught the headache to find out i needed a tech the week before. Not to mention their bike sucked even when it did work. Platform constantly crashed. If I try to browse. The never helped or fixed that problem either.

Uk support team is absolutely useless! We have a Nordic track treadmill and I’ve been dealing with so many of the customer service team for the kadt month with a software problem. The last person was a lady called Millie. What an awful customer service rep! She didn’t even bother to try and help. Didn’t bother to read the notes just kept saying the American team have decided I have a WiFi problem. I asked her to explain the problem and how it’s linked to WiFi, she couldn’t just kept fobing me off. Seems like an American company who pays uk people to answer calls and fob people off rather than look for the problem. Can’t understand why they can’t fix the problem in the uk why do they have to call America? Are they not qualified to solve problems? You can’t call them, every thing is done by email unless they call you. Thanks Millie you have provided an awful IFIT experience.

Plus jamais ... j'ai acheté un tapis Nordictrack qui m'a couté un rein et je n'ai même pas accès aux statistiques de MON propre tapis ! Depuis l'achat, j'avais mes stats à la semaine, je m'en contentais ... aujourd'hui depuis une récente mise à jour, je n'ai strictement plus rien. Je dois acheter Ifit pour avoir mes stats, c'est honteux.
En gros, j'ai acheté une Ferrari mais je ne peux pas dépasser les 90km/h ... Nordictrack, inutile d'installer des tablettes ou des écrans géants, c'est de la vente forcée...

Awful product
Awful product. Broke after less then 5 uses. Sales person put us through to overseas customer service that expected us to fix the issues ourselves/take apart the machine.
When we tried calling the home office for direct assistance was put on hold for 20 minutes. DO NOT BUY.
