Polite staff who were knowledgeable about the products. They contacted me via mobile phone as soon as the fitting was available for collection. It was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

We love calling into Housing Units at least twice a month. It’s become a bit of a ritual for us—having a lovely coffee, browsing the furniture, and even watching the robots working away.

But the highlight of every visit is always seeing Claire’s fantastic and truly touching artwork. There’s always something that draws us in, and I’ve always believed that if a piece speaks to you strongly enough, you should take it home. It brings lasting joy—and it certainly does for us.

We now have five of Claire’s pieces, and every single one makes us smile. Not only do we enjoy them every day, but they also bring happiness to visiting family and friends who admire them just as much.

We’ll always keep coming back to Housing Units… although we’re now starting to run out of wall space for more artwork! I hope many others who visit feel the same connection that Cassie and I do.

Delivered by Lee and David who were very lovely and cheerful

I stayed at home all morning today and wasted my time waiting for a delivery from housing units, utilising one of my annual holidays.

Housing units did not arrive at 10.48am and as this was scheduled as a morning delivery I rang to check for an ETA, the man who answered said that the van was running late and said that the van would be with me soon.

At 12.32pm I phoned to ask where the van was, the lady said that she would get back to me, she did not.

At 12.56pm the same lady said that she was still looking into this!!!

At 2.00pm with STILL no answer from housing units I was told that the van had arrived and had waited outside the house for 15 minutes!!!! No one had obviously had the common sense to knock despite the fact that there were two vehicles on our drive!!! To add insult to injury I was told that housing units did not correctly take down have my full telephone number, how is that my fault!!!

Housing units are now asking for £95.00 to make the delivery or we have to suffer a 25% restocking fee on a £3892.00 purchase!!!

I have referred customers through my kitchen company business to this company in the past, I will no longer be doing this.

Communication was not great when we were waiting for our furniture to be delivered. I was the one ringing for updates.

Really bad experience delivered wrong table no communication etc left a trust pilot review and was immediately contacted by the manager Carl fletcher. Who promised to refund my £95.00 delivery charge and send a good will voucher. No refund no voucher! The correct table did arrive the delivery men refused to assemble the table left in its packaging in the hall although we were told at time of purchase the table would be assembled in room of our choice. Another few phone calls. We paid for a 5 year warranty and specialist cleaning kit. Still awaiting the cleaning kit. the warranty started when the original table was delivered so we are 3 months short on it. Promised a call when it was delivered and we are happy. Still waiting. We have bought from housing units before but never again. We paid £130 for the warranty and £39 for the cleaning kit. Paid in full £1427.70 end of February. This is not good service and I feel I have waited long enough for them to contact me.

We recently moved to a new house and is the kind of house that needed that something special so there is only one place to go im not going to list everything because I'm at age when you need to buy it once and everything in the store is a quality item ,All the staff are brilliant the delivery lads brilliant and all the products are the best around

As others have said, it’s a real shame about the poor customer service.

I bought a floor lamp from Housing Units and it arrived with a non-UK plug. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the product listing and made it completely unusable.

I complained and they sent an adaptor. This turned out to be a visible black plug on a cream lamp, so it looks like a complete bodge rather than a proper finish.

They admitted the issue but refused my request for a partial refund, insisting the only option was to return it. This is incorrect and demonstrates a dismissive approach to consumer rights, especially when the item was clearly not as described.

Nice lamp, poor product information and terrible customer handling when something goes wrong.

The delivery service from Housing Units by Lee and David was quick and efficient. I was given plenty of notice and they were on time, very pleasant and coped well with our difficult front steps. Very happy.

Order a chair over the phone to be collected asap.
The guy I spoke to was so polite and helpful.
It was ready to pickup within the hour - fabulous service.
Warehouse staff was lovely too, opened the box (with pure muscle as he could find a knife) and put the chair in my car!

Saw the fire in store and then ordered it online with an extra 10% off the sale price. Very happy with the simple straight forward ordering.

I've bought quite a few items now from Housing Units and always find the experience, service, staff, products and delivery absolutley excellent.

My latest delivery was a large dinning table that I purchased in the January sale, its absolutley stunning. I knew the lead times on my particular choice of table and was happy to wait. I'm so glad I did. Its stunning, and the massive price reduction makes it even better!

Also a revolving Christmas tree base that was half price. My grandkids will love it come Christmas time.

Shout out to all the lovely staff but especially to Lee and Jake, who delivered it. They were so lovely, professional and set the table up in my room of choice. It was a really heavy piece but they handled it, placed it and set it all up with ease. Excellent lads, thank you.

Thanks Housing units too. Keep those standards high. It's such a rarity these days and its highly appreciated, which is why, despite living in Sheffield, I keep coming back. Though I do love the cafe and robot server too!

We purchased a glass dining room table, 8 chairs and 2 bar stools recently.

The glass table was set up. A week later, the first time we sat at the table, we noticed several scratches in the glass.

We reported this to the people at Housing Units and were told that as we hadn’t reported the damage within 24-48 hours, they were not willing to help,

Very disappointed with the poor quality of service. I wouldn’t buy from them again, especially not a glass table. If you do buy one, check it thoroughly before the delivery men leave
