Great service for our new garden furniture
From purchasing our new garden furniture through to delivery we were kept informed of when our item will turn up, on delivery day the drivers Rick & Phil gave me a curtesy call 30mins before they arrived and delivered it into our back garden, overall a great service and a great product which we are looking forward to using.

Garden furniture
Arthur the delivery man, delivered our garden furniture single handedly. He was very pleasant and efficient. He didn't leave until he was sure we were completely satisfied. We are very pleased with the furniture, good quality and sturdy. We can't wait for some sun to enable us to enjoy it.

Customer care terrible
Really bad experiences with Housing Units send numerous messages and telephone calls regarding my bulgati TOASTER being faulty. NO customer care at all totally ignored. Will never buy from this company again also will never buy bulgati again. I feel like I've been scammed KEEP AWAY.

Having reviewed your order, we can confirm that the toaster was delivered in December 2024 and is now outside of our warranty period. As the manufacturer, Bugatti will need to assess the fault directly and advise on the next steps.
Please contact Bugatti via their website - https://areariservata.casabugatti.com/home-appliane-service - and complete the online form, after which their customer service team will be able to review the issue and come back to you directly. Please note that if the fault is found not to be due to a manufacturing defect, any repairs or replacements may be chargeable.
We’re sorry again for the frustration caused and hope you’re able to get this resolved with the manufacturer as quickly as possible.

We love calling into Housing Units at…
We love calling into Housing Units at least twice a month. It’s become a bit of a ritual for us—having a lovely coffee, browsing the furniture, and even watching the robots working away.
But the highlight of every visit is always seeing Claire’s fantastic and truly touching artwork. There’s always something that draws us in, and I’ve always believed that if a piece speaks to you strongly enough, you should take it home. It brings lasting joy—and it certainly does for us.
We now have five of Claire’s pieces, and every single one makes us smile. Not only do we enjoy them every day, but they also bring happiness to visiting family and friends who admire them just as much.
We’ll always keep coming back to Housing Units… although we’re now starting to run out of wall space for more artwork! I hope many others who visit feel the same connection that Cassie and I do.

Can't even take a telephone number correctly
I stayed at home all morning today and wasted my time waiting for a delivery from housing units, utilising one of my annual holidays.
Housing units did not arrive at 10.48am and as this was scheduled as a morning delivery I rang to check for an ETA, the man who answered said that the van was running late and said that the van would be with me soon.
At 12.32pm I phoned to ask where the van was, the lady said that she would get back to me, she did not.
At 12.56pm the same lady said that she was still looking into this!!!
At 2.00pm with STILL no answer from housing units I was told that the van had arrived and had waited outside the house for 15 minutes!!!! No one had obviously had the common sense to knock despite the fact that there were two vehicles on our drive!!! To add insult to injury I was told that housing units did not correctly take down have my full telephone number, how is that my fault!!!
Housing units are now asking for £95.00 to make the delivery or we have to suffer a 25% restocking fee on a £3892.00 purchase!!!
I have referred customers through my kitchen company business to this company in the past, I will no longer be doing this.

Following a full review of the delivery and communication records, we can confirm that our delivery team did attend the property on the scheduled date and attempted delivery. The drivers knocked several times and also left a card requesting contact to rearrange delivery. Photographic evidence from the delivery visit was also provided following your enquiry.
Unfortunately, we were unable to contact you directly at the time because the telephone number provided on the order was incomplete. We did, however, make several attempts to communicate via email regarding the delivery status and next steps.
We appreciate that this situation was frustrating for you, particularly as you had arranged time at home to receive the order. Once the matter was escalated, our team investigated promptly and, as a gesture of goodwill, we arranged a redelivery on the Bank Holiday Monday and waived the redelivery charge entirely.
Customer service is very important to us, and while we regret the misunderstanding surrounding the delivery attempt, we are pleased we were able to work towards a resolution with you directly.

Really bad experience delivered wrong…
Really bad experience delivered wrong table no communication etc left a trust pilot review and was immediately contacted by the manager Carl fletcher. Who promised to refund my £95.00 delivery charge and send a good will voucher. No refund no voucher! The correct table did arrive the delivery men refused to assemble the table left in its packaging in the hall although we were told at time of purchase the table would be assembled in room of our choice. Another few phone calls. We paid for a 5 year warranty and specialist cleaning kit. Still awaiting the cleaning kit. the warranty started when the original table was delivered so we are 3 months short on it. Promised a call when it was delivered and we are happy. Still waiting. We have bought from housing units before but never again. We paid £130 for the warranty and £39 for the cleaning kit. Paid in full £1427.70 end of February. This is not good service and I feel I have waited long enough for them to contact me.

We sincerely apologise for the incorrect table initially being delivered and for the lack of communication throughout the process. We appreciate that this resulted in a disappointing experience, particularly after the assurances provided regarding delivery, assembly and follow-up contact.
Following your concerns being raised, restaurant vouchers and the care kit were arranged as a gesture of goodwill, and we understand the delay in receiving these has added to your frustration. We have also requested for the start date of your warranty to be amended so that it reflects the delivery date of your replacement table rather than the original item.
In relation to the assembly service, our delivery policy changed during the period between your original delivery and the replacement exchange, which is why the delivery team advised they were unable to assemble the table at that time. However, we understand this did not align with what you had originally been told when placing your order, and we apologise for the confusion caused.
We are pleased the correct table has now been delivered and fully assembled, but we completely appreciate that this does not undo the inconvenience and disappointment caused throughout the process.
Please accept our sincere apologies once again, and thank you for bringing these matters to our attention.

We recently moved to a new house and is the kind of house that needed that something special so there is only one place to go im not going to list everything because I'm at age when you need to buy it once and everything in the store is a quality item ,All the staff are brilliant the delivery lads brilliant and all the products are the best around

terrible customer service
As others have said, it’s a real shame about the poor customer service.
I bought a floor lamp from Housing Units and it arrived with a non-UK plug. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the product listing and made it completely unusable.
I complained and they sent an adaptor. This turned out to be a visible black plug on a cream lamp, so it looks like a complete bodge rather than a proper finish.
They admitted the issue but refused my request for a partial refund, insisting the only option was to return it. This is incorrect and demonstrates a dismissive approach to consumer rights, especially when the item was clearly not as described.
Nice lamp, poor product information and terrible customer handling when something goes wrong.

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience.
As discussed with you directly, when you contacted us regarding the plug type, we immediately sent a compatible adaptor so the lamp could be used straight away. When you remained unhappy, we also offered a full refund with free collection of the item, which is the standard resolution available in these circumstances.
Unfortunately, a partial refund request while keeping the item was not something we were able to agree to. Following this, a chargeback claim was raised through PayPal/payment providers despite the item not being returned to us. The case has since been reviewed externally.
We always aim to resolve issues fairly, and we regret that we were unable to resolve acceptable to both parties.
