Hertz - Phoenix - West Camelback Road Anmeldelser 

I schedule to get the rental at 5pm. I didnt get it until 530pm. When I pickup the car it completely smelled like smoke. My kids couldn't do the smell so had buy air freshener to air it out. When returning the car at 520pm the place was closed. I called hertz and told me drop off 1st thing in am which I did. And got charge at extra $428. I originally booked 4days for $228 and got charge at extra $400

No car for my reservation upon arrival. Voucher adjustment charge of $50 for returning my car 2 hours early. When I got there another customer had been waiting for two hours for the car she reserved. They are charging money for an early return that they could be making money on for the next waiting customer. So if they charge me $50 and begin charging her for the rental they are charging both of us for the same car at the same time. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!!! Not ok to take advantage of your customers that way.

I make reservations and then I'm told there are no cars available. That's totally unacceptable if you don't have any cars then don't confirm my reservation it's pretty simple

Was a long wait to get a vehicle. You had a great lady behind the counter doing everything she could to accommodate everyone. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable about her position and loved her job. Just not enough help for the amount of people inside.

Had to wait in the office almost an hour, even though my rental was scheduled for a certain time and customer service was terrible.

I scheduled appointment for rental through AAA Auto very easily. I had about a 30 minute wait for my car, because Phill was helping other customers that were before me. When my car was ready he went over the basics. I had trouble with the KIA Sportage in that I couldn't get the cruise control to work & had difficulty with the radio. I'm used to push buttons as is on my 21 year old Buick Lacrosse. Not use to digital & it was weird not having a key. The drivers seat wasn't comfortable. Couldn't figure out how to adjust the lumbar. Didn't find any information in the manual. Car drove smoothly and was clean. Phil at the desk gave great service.

We end up renting a car over the holiday weekend at a local Hertz dealer. Only because the airport had no available cars. The service was great. The car was nice It met our needs and we had a wonderful trip. Thank you, Hertz.

Waited from 9am to 2pm for a car then was charged $300 outside of what it should have costed making my account negative

I love this location! The staff is literally amazing from start to finish! This is my go to when in town! I had an amazing summer and wouldn’t been able to do it without an awesome company!
I will most definitely, refer all family and friends to this location. Any time I’ve rented the vehicles are in good condition! This has been an amazing experience and that’s all you can ask for in 2026.

The rep was awesome at this location she was the best I've ever met.

The people were very friendly and communicated well. I ended up renting two cars in succession due to a delay in repairing my car so I got to know them pretty well. Both cars were comfortable and clean, except for the inside of the windows. Both cars were heavily misted, particularly the windshield, and I had to wipe them down myself. That's why only 4 stars.
