Hertz - Jersey City - Mall Drive W Anmeldelser 

We were able to change drop off from the airport to by our hotel. We didn't realize the traffic was soooo bad and this made it so much better and we were able to make our Broadway show.
They were awesome there but a couple of things made us rate this a 4.
The main line we called for help on this was horrible. They didn't communicate clearly and when we asked for a supervisor or manager they refused. I would give them a 1 rating but since when we got to the different drop off they were so nice and helped us we didn't drop our overall experience that low.
The Jersey Mall dop off were amazing and they more than made up for most of the main line help. Overall we will definitely use Hertz again,

Staff very friendly, but should understand that Customers value fast service and quick check-in to driving car time.

Need to wait for car wash or wait time close to 30 mins does is not customer friendly.

Although not the case in this opportunity, frequently customers are told no car available despite having reservations

Easy to book. Easy to find. Staff was helpful and diligent, willing to explain and take care of me, got me on my way. The car was clean and Easy to return.

Extremely long wait to pick up and to drop off despite having the highest tier of status with Hertz

The people who worked there were kind, problem solvers, and helped me get the car and return the car with ease. Great team! The car was clean and drove great.

The person who assisted me was great and provided excellent customer service. However, when I returned the rental, I noticed the vehicle I had originally selected parked in the lot and realized that I had been given a different vehicle. No one notified me that the vehicle had been changed, so I found that odd, especially since I had specifically selected a particular vehicle when making my reservation.

Last time I had a booking confirmed at 5pm but the staff denied to give the car as the management told them to clock out at 5pm and they cannot give me the car since they cannot accommodate the customer already there since 4:30pm. Although I have arrived at the rental location at 4:50pm the staff said their management is so strict that they don’t want them to work after 5 pm . I have to call customer service to get it resolved and the pressure I felt because of the fear of getting my plans cancelled is not worth choosing hertz again. Better to move my booking from now to enterprise as their service is much for flexible for the customers.
The management is not caring about customer experience.

TLDR: I rented here last Friday and the experience is better on the weekend

My experience was great. Latasia is always thorough with the checkout process and provided exceptional service as she always does. Calm, collective and very professional with all customers and her team of employees.

I rent regularly from this location and the staff are very friendly. I also appreciate that they usually have EV/hybrid models, which I prefer. This last experience was especially fast - pickup/dropoff was easy.

Travel from Jersey to Virginia, they offer 2 options for paying the road tolls: either buy the E-ZPass or pay cash. I chose cash, and there is one toll in Virginia that doesn't accept cash. I asked Hertz if they could mail me the toll bill so I could pay for it (it was only $6). They said if they received the bill, they would charge me a $39 penalty plus the toll fee.

Shoutout to Calvin (kelvin?) the best agent ever. He explained things clearly and was very efficient. Everything was easy and smooth. Seriously this guy needs to be promoted after renting cars so many times they are always confused about the tolls and add ons. This guy was on top of it.
