I am always satisfied when renting with hertz

Un professional staff at front desk, too lazy to pull up car in front, have to go all over to the parking lot to locate the car, then the car doesn't have keys inside, have to go back to office again to get the keys from them, she was looking at another staff and was smiling. Car had very bad smell, trunck and passenger seat was not cleaned. Had bad experience!! Have to return the vehicle in between of the reservation as I was not able to drive the car in smell and with all that things. Also, I didn't want to clean the vehicle myself as it was not my duty to do. I want my refund else I have to file a complaint and dispute this with my bank. I got headache because of the smell, have to go to doctor for meds.

They don’t have my car at the time of the Rental plus the girl at the counter in the great neck location was rude. The worst customer service ever that girl is not meant to work with you guys. She’s very rude and bad attitude. I hope I never gotta come back to great neck location and then they cancel my reservation. So very bad experience. No recommend that location.

I visit the Great Neck location quite often. The staff is always friendly and the rental vehicle is always ready for me upon arrival. Having a Hertz Gold profile which contains your vehicle preferences and payment methods makes renting fast and easy.

All good and efficient

Group at the desk refuses to smile, but thats standard in the greater NYC metro area. Customer service is a lost art, good with that. The transaction was quick and easy, car was ready and I was on the road in 5-10. Good time start to finish. The only open issue "all customers" have with Hertz, the hold for an additional $200-300, and the limited use of a debit card. Hertz needs to be forthcoming with the exact details regarding the finical hold on your card, itemized on the prefrontal email and confirmation. The customer should know exactly what they are being asked to pay for despite it being a "HOLD". The other piece is the debit card, they are the only business in North America who doesnt accept a debit card, which is cash. This makes almost no sense. Time to enter the twenty first century as a company and accept all payment methods.
