I am writing to formally document my dissatisfaction with the service received at your location at 6590 Montana Ave, Suite F, El Paso, TX 79925. Upon arriving for my rental at 4:00 PM, I waited until 4:35 PM, at which point Assistant Manager William Smith informed me in an unprofessional manner that the reserved vehicle was unavailable and attempted to upcharge me $10 per day for an alternative. Due to the elapsed timeframe, I was unable to cancel my reservation, and I was initially provided with an incorrect contact number for assistance. While a request for management resulted in a price adjustment, the original vehicle issue remained unresolved. Furthermore, Mr. Smith’s conduct was consistently discourteous. Despite my inquiry regarding documenting the vehicle's condition—which included a scratched front bumper, a broken grill, a torn backseat, and an incomplete fuel level—I was advised that photos were unnecessary; I am concerned these preexisting damages may be attributed to me. Having noted a pattern of negative feedback regarding Mr. Smith over the past three years, I intend to share this experience publicly to alert other customers to these unprofessional practices.

No surprises
The best thing about Hertz is that there are no surprises. Car was ready, worked fine, charges were as expected and the return at ABQ was speedy. Weirdly, the charge was several hundred dollars less when I booked through Hertz's off-airport location, which is just a mile from their ELP counter.

Becareful with the gas charge
Renting process was great, vehicle was great, only downside they gave me a vehicle with half a tank and i returned with with half a tank and got charged
almost $60 dollars because they wanted it full. Did a request via email but no help.
