Hertz - Danbury - Tooley Lane Anmeldelser 

I reserved a medium sized suv and when I came to pick up the vehicle it was a small sized suv. I have been a long time Gold member and feel that I should have been given the vehicle that I reserved. I reserved it enough time that you should have gotten the vehicle from somewhere else if you didn't have it on the lot.

The team at the Danbury location is A+. Super friendly, helpful and most importantly value me as a customer.

The staff at the Danbury, Tooley lane office are great, friendly, nice and helpful. I enjoy dealing with real people over automation - my second rental this year from them.
I was not thrilled with the car - ordered a 2WD small SUV and got a 4 door Jeep Wrangler. Not a great car for transporting luggage over a small SUV and the gas milage was horrible. I am pretty sure the car was there because the gas prices are very expensive and nobody wanted to drive it. This added to the cost of the trip for me.
Since the cars from Hertz are all late model, there is often confusion on how to operate certain things - perhaps have the staff come out and go over things briefly. On the Jeep, the seat adjustments were hard to figure out with a pull loop(?), window controls in the center of console, the phone to radio for navigation. The electronics in particular have been a problem on my last few rentals from Hertz, earlier this year on my return I asked the manager to help me and he couldn't figure it out either.
At Newark airport there seems to be some construction in the Hertz area and they had a van blocking the entrance after going around twice, we finally honked the horn and they moved it (Hertz) but moved it back after us - there has to be a better way - no? Dropoff was easy.

Car was well maintained and clean, received the vehicle that was selected with no issue. Representative at pick-up was attentative to my questions, and friendly. All went better than expected

Pickup took less than five minutes, and the car didn't just meet my needs - it exceeded my expectations. The return was even quikcer, taking less than 2 minutes.

I've been a frequent traveler for more than 3 decads, and I can honestly say that the customer service at this location (Hertz - Tooley Lane, Danbury CT) far exceeds what I have experienced at major airports and other rental locations. The team is friendly, efficient, professional, and genuinely makes you feel like a valued customer.
