We were served by Annie today and buying a child’s bike helmet. We were able to find what we needed quickly and everyone was knowledgable and friendly. At the till, Annie helped us with our new membership which I had bought online but wasn’t quite ready yet. We were still able to get the discount. We plan to go back - quick, easy, well stocked, seamless.

Laura was incredibly helpful today, thank you - 5 stars for her!! More sizes are needed please…teenage boys outgrown kids clothes and first men’s size is generally a 30” waist….more options of 28” needed please!
And 1 star for Go outdoors having staff working in this heat with no air conditioning!! Water literally running down my back waiting at an incredibly slow check out so can’t imagine how staff are coping!

We wanted to purchase a length of water hose which needed to be cut to size. We asked a staff member for assistance who said they would get someone to come over but 10 minutes later no one had arrived. We took the all of the tubing to the till and were greeted by Dean who was friendly and apologetic. He put a call out for help but everyone said they were busy. Dean apologised again, took the tubing away to cut it. Moments later returned with the required length. Throughout the entire process Dean was cheerful and happy to help which made up for the lack of service we initially experienced. The store gets 3 stars, Dean deserved 5 therefore I’ve given 4 stars

Lewis was really helpful, knowledgeable and generous with his time when it came to hiking shoe fitting and hiking socks. Awesome customer service. Will come back

Visited GO Outdoors in Norwich today and had a great experience. Annie was super helpful and provided great customer service, will definitely be returning again soon.

Samuel C was the first retail assistant I’ve ever met to enter his “mind palace” of knowledge about shoes! Was incredibly helpful and professional.

Originally I went to the store in Norwich, went to the mens dept. and found all the jackets alarmed. A sign of the times I guess. There were no members of staff around apart from on the till and 1 woman in the ladies dept. arranging the hanging rails. I explained i wanted to try on some jackets, she looked around and said she would get someone over. I waited about 10 minutes and nobody arrived. I went over to the woman and explained that I had waited, nobody arrived and that I was now going to walk out. "Ok" she said. And that was it. I am not one to normally complain. Customer service was rubbish! (And I am being polite!!) The only other option open was to order on line, which I did. The order experience was good, however I worry about the hassle about returns and sizing, which was the whole reason for going to the store. GO OUTDOORS, big fail in my book. 72 mile round journey that I could have done from my armchair

Well purchased tent £499.00.paid in store at go outdoors Norwich branch with klama card over 3 months. Tap and go with klama card. Every thing went smoothly. Norwich branch then cancelled order next day, rang Norwich branch they then said we have no recognition of purchase with klama card whilst manager hiding behind table, bearing in mind klama account had acknowledge the sum of £499 on my account,for purchased item Rang go outdoors customer service basically said not my problem and just kicked ball backed to Back to Norwich branch. So my idea of paying for tent over 3 months has been stuffed now have £499 coming straight out of account, Look's to me Norwich Go Outdoors really haven't got a clue what happening when people purchased item's. And certainly don't care.

I have been trying to contact the Norwich store by phone repeatedly over several days to verify if they had my item in stock. They never answer their telephone. In the end I drove to the store, nearly an hours drive. Fortunately they had the item in stock and I bought it.

Unfortunately when I got home I found that they had not applied my membership discount. I again tried to call the store and again got no answer. I then called customer services who said that it was not something they could resolve abd that I would need to return to the store despite ne explaining that this would involve a second, nearly two hour round trip.

I have raised a formal complaint which is currently un resolved.

Served by Ally today in the Norwich store - had made a trip during my lunch hour to buy some new walking boots - Ally spotted me searching for the specific size I needed (not on the shelf), volunteered straight away to go and check stock and came up trumps. I really appreciated her efforts to spot I needed help and straight away going about solving my problem. Top notch customer service that resulted in a sale for the branch - had Ally not done her thing, I’d have bought online from a competitor (having already done some research on prices/delivery times in case I wasn’t successful getting some there and then). Thanks, Ally!

I was served by Laura C and another lady and gentleman. Between them they took great care to ensure that I bought the most appropriate product (waterproof hiking jacket) with best fit and value.

Exchanged walking boots which I bought 2 days ago. I tried them again at home, compared them with my old boots and decided they weren’t quite right.
Declan found my preferred make and size which were perfect. He did the exchange, sorted the extra payment and I left happy with my new walking boots.

The sales person at Norwich was brilliant. We were returning an awning that turned out to be not what we had expected. We couldn't get it all back in the bag, but he said that was not a problem as he could do it later. He refunded us the cost and we were able to purchase the next size up. All done with a smile.

Order took over a week what should have been next day click and collect.
