Missing items Not my fault
Today I received my GAP order and I’m missing 3 items. I called customer service and was told they would email me a form to fill out. I filled out the form and I now have to wait 3 business days for a decision. What do you have to decide? Either mail me my 3 missing items or refund my GAP credit card! This is ridiculous. Now I wait….poor customer service.
Gap Chat is garbage
Gap sent a box of clothes to me by accident. I told them. They told me to return the items via UPS. I said I was home solo because my husband is on a temporary deployment, with 3 sick kids (one of which had Covid, Flu, and Strep), and the UPS store was a 30 minute round trip away. I asked them to have the order picked up by UPS or send a prepaid polymailer for me to send from my mailbox.
They said “no” multiple times and just ignored my request for them to find a solution that didn’t require me leaving the house. Keep in mind these were NOT items I ordered! They sent me a box of items by mistake! The items had nothing to do with me!!
This was their response “… Although we are unable to schedule a UPS pick up to your location, we would like to offer that you can return the items whenever you have any free time. Sometimes our customers will tell us they can return packages to a UPS store or Gap store whenever they are in that area for shopping or other errands and that is perfectly ok. We don't want to force you to leave the house just for one task or cause any stress whatsoever. We understand that now is a burdensome time to do so.
Given the situation, we as individuals would feel the same way. Please take your time, there is no rush. If you could, please let us know what the original order number was. We can leave accurate notes for this case and track the error on our part so something like this doesn't happen again.”
Free time? Free time?!! Who are they to feel so entitled to my free time. I rarely have free time, but when I do I’m supposed to donate it to them and run their errands??

Horrible Return Policy, Poor Quality Items
I shipped my return back within the 30 day window but it arrived after 30 days (due to no fault of my own), and they said it was outside the return window and wouldn't give me a refund. When I asked if I could at least receive store credit, they refused. I've been a loyal customer for years but they've lost me! And the quality of clothing continues to go downhill. Very flimsy and cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business in the next few years!

worst customer service and quality
I have been buying GAP for years for my kids and the quality of the items have been going noticeably downhill over the last five years. Every pair of pajamas I now buy them tear completely to shreds within 6 months of wearing them. A piece of clothing came ripped down the seam of an item that I only noticed after my son wore it and customer service wouldn’t do anything to help me except send me a return label. Abysmal customer service. I have never dealt with a retailer with a quality issue that has never just offered a simple refund for the inconvenience.

Porażka, nie róbcie sobie tego
Dostawa OK, ale później już same rozczarowania: przysłana jasnoniebieska bluza miała 2 ciemne plamy na plecach. Niestety okazało się, że: (i) zwrot jest tylko listem poleconym (Poczta Polska) na mój koszt i (ii) sklep nie realizuje wymiany.
Czyli straciłam czas (Poczta Polska) i kasę na polecony (16,50 zł).
Ciekawe ile teraz będę czekać na zwrot pieniędzy ...
Sklep porażka
Kupić to ok., ale odzyskać pieniądze to już inna bajka. W żadnym sklepie nie czekałam dłużej niż tydzień na zwrot pieniędzy. W GAP leci już 3 tydzień.
Chyba Rzecznik Praw Konsumenta powinien przyjrzeć

Their return policy is the worst- strict 30 days. First day counts from shipping date. Will not even allow straight exchange for same item but different size. Called customer service twice and store- absolutely no exceptions.
Will never shop at any of their stores- Old Navy,Banana Republic or athletica. Very surprised they are not bankrupt!

Pluck their stuff on sales
Their website is quite clear to me and that's the most important thing for me as for a online purchaser.
I don't even doubt the quality of t's and hoodies they sell, because I've been wearing Gap since my childhood and they never set me up in terms of quality. The tissue is pleasant to the body, delivery was quick and promotion sales which they arrange from time to time are atractive too. It's a good chance to pluck something interesting by a small price.

I am a lifelong GAP customer. I shopped in their Scottsdale store in July 2023 and loved the experience of shopping there! This store is the only GAP in the state of Arizona. They need to be more diligent at checkout.
Gap/ LaserShip is a JOKE
Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love Gap but this 3rd party they’re using for the courier LaserShip is the main reason behind this review. They claimed to have delivered my package at 12:31pm yet I have no activity on my ring camera from 11:28am-1:08pm no package & someone was home to accept it . I guess the thought never crossed their mind to ring the bell either. I reached out to LaserShip & they did nothing but tell me to contact Gap so I did. I then did research on this 3rd party courier only to see that the reviews are HORRIBLE which explains the issue I’m having along with others. Gap hasn’t done anything to resolve or accommodate me as the customer because they continue to use them as a courier. Moral of the story is moving forward I will no longer patronize the Gap because I’m out of money & merchandise and they still got paid so they’re winning the couriers who are stealing is getting paid to deliver “BUT AREN’T” & is getting the merchandise the customers have paid for!!! If I could give Gap & LaserShip 0 stars I definitely would because I feel they’re working together.

I purchased three hoodies for a girl for over $57 on August 13th. I was told that the package would be shipped online through UPS on Sunday, Monday and then by Tuesday the package was noted to have a claimed filed by the sender which is Gap. And I called the customer service number and I contacted Gap Outlet on Facebook. I was told to wait until the 24th of August and to call on the 25th even though UPS had the package shipped from Tennessee by the 18th and it never moved or was updated since the 18th. By the 21st, UPS noted to file a claim and that it was just not available to be delivered. That's odd. But, Gap Outlet refused to pay me a full refund for the $5 shipping. So, I got $52 instead of $57+ for a refund. I would add photos

Usually they’re great for online orders but in store it can be a hassle sometimes depending on the store. Overall they’re good though and out last order went really well
not caring
I ordered three items, one was not delivered which they helped because they didn't do their job correctly.
The other two items I wished to exchange for other items (not get money back) but I was told too bad it's past the 30 days no exceptions. I have had some family issues, and they were a little more important than remembering to exchange items within the 30 days, but the gentleman I spoke with didn't care. 'You are out of the 30 day exchange period, nothing we can do'
I guess they truly care about their customers..I will not be shopping with them.

Fiz uma encomenda a 27 de julho 2023, paguei e até hoje não apareceu nada. Devem ter perdido os dados, mas ficaram com o dinheiro. Gente pouco recomendável
Wrong items sent, no refund.
They sent my order 7/18, 3 out of 4 items were completely wrong. Told me to ship it back. They recieved the return 07/25. As of 08/04 they still have not refunded. I called spoke to a Supervisor who told me nothing she could do, its 15 business days for them to even process the refund (card refund may even take days after that), even though they were the ones who screwed up in the first place.

The quality of their clothing is usually very good and the fit is almost always just right. Shipping is fast and everything always comes in perfect condition.
Poor Quality Shabby Material
I bought some tee shirts while on vacation in Honolulu. I was so disappointed at the quality of the shirts after washing. They are so wrinkled and looked like I slept in them. Won’t purchase any more items, their quality has really gone down hill.
Złożyłam 2 zamówienia w dniu 20-06-2023…
Złożyłam 2 zamówienia w dniu 20-06-2023 z czego jednego nie odebrałam i wróciło do nadawcy. Na zwrot środków czekałam do 14-07-2023 i dodatkowo przelali kwotę nie z tego zamówienia co trzeba. Do chwili obecnej temat zwrotu nie został zamknięty. Sama procedura zwrotu kosztuje dużo czasu i energii.
