Simple buying and delivery service
I had to travel a fair distance to see the vehicle I wanted, so it was fantastic to be able to sort the viewing, test drive and paperwork before hand.
Huz is the agent that deals with EVs and he was brilliant, Test Drive carried out around the local area, car booked through workshop checks, paperwork done and delivery sorted in one go.
I'd just like to point out that the RAC extended warranty and service plan are a fair price, there's no massive mark-up. If you Google the cost of the plans, that's what they are!
From a visit at the weekend to a new car on my drive by midweek, can't say I've ever found it easier. Well done Huz and FoW.

Dreadful customer service and after…
Dreadful customer service and after care, blatantly lied to me at times and tried to make it as difficult as possible to get the vehicle repaired, would not buy from fords of winsford again!

Having reviewed the history of your case, we would like to clarify that you attended site for an appointment regarding the concerns with your vehicle. Following this, a further appointment was arranged so that we could continue with the necessary investigation and repair process.
Unfortunately, we did not receive a response from you regarding the second booking and have not heard from you since. This meant that we were unable to continue with the planned next steps or progress the repair further.

The car had been ran out of petrol and…
The car had been ran out of petrol and had to be collected a few days late due to a part replacement so Tom the salesman we dealt with was on a day off.
We waited 45 mins after our appointment time not ideal.
The quick efficant work of Ellie the sales lady turned a disaster around (10/10 for her efforts ) .I find it particulary poor two male colleugues left a young lady to sort out the problems whilst they sat there talking about curry.This is not team work
The car we bought has been fine so far and was well presented .

Great choice of cars for a range of…
Great choice of cars for a range of prices. I had a really helpful sales representative who answered all of my questions. The only reason it isn't 5 star is i felt a bit pushed to finance my car instead of buying it outright. The after sales team are great. I had a small issue with the tyre sensors but they arranged for me to go to a garage the next day and paid for all the necessary work. In my follow up call i mentioned that i had also purchased a new car battery as the car had the original one in and they made a contribution towards it that i wasn't expecting. Purchasing a car is very exciting but also very daunting and I feel like the service I received from everyone involved helped reassure me. Very happy.

Gave me a good valuation on my car as trade in, picked the car i wanted, all sorted, some issues with new car sorted and drove away within 2 days. I dealt with 2 different people at the Manchester branch, both very helpful and accommodating. Couldn't recommend enough. Everything made nice and simple.

Fairly easy to deal with, customer service a little lacking
Weren't very forthcoming when trying to do a deal, salesman was adamant the price was fixed, offered a low price for my trade in, but after we walked out and left it a few days I was able to get a slightly better deal and have some niggles with the car sorted. The best part about buying a car is the haggling!
On arranging collection I was pestered slightly to collect the car sooner than I wanted, I'm thinking because it was the end of the month and they wanted their sales figures boosting. Was told it would take 30 mins so I could just pop in after work etc. good job I didn't as I actually had to go to the post office to tax the car as it couldn't be done online after being a motability car. Our salesman wasn't working when we could collect the car so we were left for an hour or so while they were sorting out stuff in the background. Although the staff were pleasant, we weren't even offered a coffee or cold drink as we waited. Also after they brought the car around for us to take it home, at least one of the jobs I was assured would be fixed wasn't so ill have to return at some point for them to fiz the issue.

We appreciate, however, that other parts of the experience could have been smoother. We're sorry that you felt pressured regarding the collection date and that the handover took considerably longer than the timeframe you had been given. The requirement to visit the Post Office to tax the vehicle should also have been communicated beforehand so that you could plan accordingly.
We're particularly sorry that you were left waiting without being offered refreshments and that one of the agreed items hadn't been completed when the vehicle was handed over. Where work has been agreed before collection, we would expect this to be completed or clearly communicated to you beforehand rather than requiring an additional visit.

Great service
JJ who looked after me was professional and approachable from the moment we met. He answered my questions with great knowledge whilst out on the test drive. He handled the finance completely for me and explained everything every step of the way. Making sure I understood thoroughly. His communication skills were fantastic in the 24 hours I had to wait to collect my car. 10/10 service. Didn’t catch the managers name in the afternoon on the 29/9/26 but just want to shout a thanks to him too.

Having never dealt with FOW ( Winsford branch )previously, all I can say is the whole process from start to finish was absaloutly brilliant !
Alex our sales advisor was superb.
A really nice genuine guy who's customer service was absaloutly brilliant.
Alex couldn't have been more helpful and made buying the car a real simple process.
After paying my deposit the car was ready to collect only 48 hours later.
The car looked brand new having undergone a full valet and wheel repair...amazing .
I couldn't recommend Fords of winsford enough.

It was good to have FOW take further care of one of it's customers
I was pleasantly surprised when FOW contacted me regarding the car which I purchased last may. The lady called Aimee asked me if I had had any problems at all with the car. She asked me if I had any issues at all with the car. She also said that if any problems did occur then I could give FOW a ring to receive advice or help.
I thank FOW for the extra "service" given to me.
