Purchased car
After the purchase of vehicle, found error (SatNav had been de-activated and hence non-functioning) - FoW had not completed their pre sale checks properly. Sales assistant told by their sales manager that other than arranging a return (which would leave us out of pocket by a significant sum) they would only offer a contribution in form of small refund - £100 - after we would need to source and pay for this fault to be corrected (which can only be done at specialist VAG dealer). No apology. Very disappointed and left with car which was NOT as advertised.

Good staff and service but bad sales process
I am very pleased with the car, it's presentation on collection and price. However, the sales process was awful. The sales advisor was friendly and helpful but clearly had to follow the company process. I was forced to sit through a sales pitch of general insurance and finance products that I said I had no intention of buying, nor did I initiate any request to discuss them, before even being able to go on a test drive. I would have expected this conversation to have been done once i'd decided to purchase the car. The advisor completed questions on the forms without asking them to me, in particular saying I was considering using the dealership finance service which was never the case. Forms appeared to have been signed electronically on my behalf, I assume from codes I had to provide during the sales process. The process was not in the least customer focussed, it is forced on the customer and any consent they think they had is invalid as it was not fully informed, nor freely given. Thankfully the collection process was very quick and efficient. I understand that commission from selling additional products is an income stream but customers should be the given the choice on whether they want to engage in this process and not be forced to sit through it.

This is intended to ensure customers are fully informed of their options and can make their own decisions, rather than feeling pressured into purchasing anything they do not want or need.

Really positive experience this week…
Really positive experience this week and thank you Dee :) I’ve just arrived home with my first automatic electric car. ( 3 days after first viewing) . Dee greeted us at reception and kindly gave me the keys for a couple of cars I had seen online. Prices great and similar to other dealers. FoWoffer some great warranty and aftercare products which some were not needed and felt no pressure to take out As someone who really hates the car buying process, this was actually great, good price given for my part ex too. Would really recommend. Poor guy didn’t even flinch when I broke with my left foot on my test drive of an automatic and nearly went through windscreen ( sorry ) !! Would say, good price, nice staff, no pressure and an overall good experience thank you. Dee ensured that all cosmetic work on tyres etc was carried out prior to collection. Will definitely use again:)

Hi I am not happy at all!
The service was not done !
The filters were all dirty and oil was dirty and was not changed,
And the back wheels alloys were cracked
I was driving on the road back home under the risk !!
You didn’t give me any discount
Lying that the car was serviced
Not happy at all
You sell the cars not truly checked and serviced.
And it will go on media how dangerous it is
And you change the PRICE UP when I called you about the car! £200 up over the night 😱

Great to deal with.
There was/is a great selection of vehicles the organisation of which was very well operated. Jaime the sales lady was very efficient and delight to deal with. I had a small technical issue and FOW organised a diagnostic check at a garage near to me. As this was inconclusive FOW are have now booked me in to try to get to the bottom of it at their headquarters. So far they couldn't be more helpful.

An honest company
The basis of this review is we bought a car on the same basis and with the same honest transactional experience as if we were buying goods from a supermarket. We don't feel we were conned or pressurized or sold a "lemon".
The one negative I would say about this company is that it doesn't allow you to pay even a nominal £5 by credit card, thus depriving customers of the protection offered by law to anyone purchasing anything even partially financed by credit card.

Our 3rd visit was to collect the car. Thank you Danny @ FOW.
We visited the Winsford site 3 times, the first to view three vehicles we had seen on their Internet pages, the second to view two others, one of which we test drove that day and decided to make a purchase. The paperwork and a small deposit was made and the next day on our 3rd visit we transfered the payment, taxed and insured the vehicle and then drove it away. The whole process was so easy and I guess that's because the sales person (Danny) had perhaps done it many times before. Very courteous and extremely professional. Thank you Danny and FOW.

Bought an M140i here back in April…
Bought an M140i here back in April 2024.
The car was in good condition and exactly as advertised and I had a salesman who I forgot his name, which got back to me very quickly with any questions and made the whole process from being interested in the car online, to seeing the car, testing it and then purchasing.
2 and a half years later I still have the car and I love it just as much as day one.
I did find a set of Motech spacers on it that I had no idea about and wasn't advertised online, but the car looks better with them and it spared me having to spend a few quid on some myself lol.
I would buy from here again in the future.

Simple buying and delivery service
I had to travel a fair distance to see the vehicle I wanted, so it was fantastic to be able to sort the viewing, test drive and paperwork before hand.
Huz is the agent that deals with EVs and he was brilliant, Test Drive carried out around the local area, car booked through workshop checks, paperwork done and delivery sorted in one go.
I'd just like to point out that the RAC extended warranty and service plan are a fair price, there's no massive mark-up. If you Google the cost of the plans, that's what they are!
From a visit at the weekend to a new car on my drive by midweek, can't say I've ever found it easier. Well done Huz and FoW.
