Great Service, great value, would use again
Good value, great service, would get five stars, but unfortunately they didn't check the suspension of a vehicle before it went out. Their after-sales service is superb though, really helpful, paid all the money back for the diagnostics, repairs and taxis. Would definitely buy a car from them again.

Brought a car online and was delivered…
Brought a car online and was delivered at my address. Is a BYD that should have 3 keys ( 2 normal keys and a card key ) . They only give me 2 keys whidout the card key and they said that they only had 2 keys and not the 3rd card key. I was to BYD showroom to ask how much will cost me to recode the keys and a new card key and they told me about 100-120 pounds. I asked FOW for a refound so i can make the keys but they just ignored me telling me that they cannot do anything about it so i need to pay for recodding , that is not optional because the “lost” card key can open my car anytime and my car would be stolen. For my own safety i will spend another 100-120£ so the lost card key will be desactivated and to take my mind off that someone could have the 3rd key.

Greedy, inflexible, customers-non-focused
A greedy, inflexible, money grabbing company; dis-interested in pleasing customers.
Test drive lasted 4 minutes during which the staff member talked about their own car choice rather than allowing me to focus on my choice.
I only figured out how to operate the cruise control about 30 minutes into the drive back home after purchasing the car.
On pointing out some scratches paint
on 2 wheel arches, I was initially told it would be sorted before purchase. But on the day of collection the scratches were still there. Now I was told that such damage was to be expected in a car of this age (2024) and I could buy parts on Ebay to correct the problem myself. I disagreed and was referred to the manager who explained how difficult it would be for them to fix the problem.....remove wheel...unpin this & that etc..etc. I asked for a price reduction which was refused. Eventually he agreed to "send me some floor mats" as compensation. I'm still waiting for them after 1 month.
Within a week I realised I'd chosen the wrong variant when the handbook mentioned how to swicth on the head-up display, but there was no button.
They refused to give a refund within the 7 day period of purchase, offering instead a very low buy-back or part exchange price.
I would never use this company again.
Don't give them your hard earned money.

We appreciate the concerns you've raised regarding the test drive, the vehicle's cosmetic condition at collection and the communication surrounding the agreed floor mats. We understand how frustrating it must have been to feel that your expectations were not met, particularly where you believed certain work had been agreed before collection.
Regarding the cosmetic concerns, our vehicles are pre-owned and some age-related wear and tear can be expected. However, we recognise the importance of clearly communicating what will and won't be addressed before a customer commits to purchasing a vehicle.
We also appreciate your disappointment regarding the vehicle's specification and your subsequent request to return it. Whilst we understand that you later realised the vehicle did not have a particular feature you wanted, a change of preference regarding the specification does not automatically provide grounds for a full refund. We appreciate that the alternative options discussed with you were not the outcome you had hoped for.
Your comments regarding the test drive experience, vehicle preparation and outstanding floor mats will be shared with our Sales Management team for review.
We're sorry that your overall experience has affected your confidence in FOW, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.

Had a good experience with fow
Really pleased with the car we bought. Couldn't fault staff, Really helpful. Only reason for 4 star review and not five is the warranty which is 30 days. Had 12months on previous car, I know they like to sell extended warranty but just seems mean. It's the lowest warranty on all my past buys.

Great experience with Robin and Ryan. They made evrything easy and sorted out a few problems with minimal difference to me
Service by them was 5 star
Only one downside, the valet done prior to pick up was poor. Very little attention to detail and dried shampoo residue visible

Mustang Mach E…
Went to FOW to look initially at a Tesla and then a Merc. Decidedly unimpressed. Spoke with a really helpful sales person, Becky who directed me towards a Mustang Mach E....so glad she did! I picked the car up today and couldn't be more impressed. For the price, spec and the way the whole thing was handled I cant fault FOW. Thank you Becky! I feel like I have a real bargain. What a motor!

Don't follow through on agreements, rush deals through.
TLDR: They agreed to swap a tyre with a cut in it, and just turned it around. Less than 6 months later the tyre failed and could've seriously injured me.
I bought a car from them in June. The whole experience felt rushed, as they wanted me to purchase the car within the weekend I showed interest. The car had some cosmetic issues, and a cut in the front right tyre. Over that weekend they 'fixed' those problems (the cosmetic issues were a rush job clearly), and within the drive home engine light came on and the had to take it back in to fix a problem with the radiator system.
Just a day ago, my front right tyre went completely flat on the way home from work. I stopped, got it up enough to get home (avoiding my normal drive down the M6) and took it to a tyre centre. The centre discovered they hadn't changed the front right tyre, they just swapped it around so the cut wasn't visible. This was the cause of the deflation, and could have costed my life.
I bought the car under the agreement that would be solved, and instead they risked my safety to make the process cheaper.
Avoid purchasing from this company.

Vehicle safety is extremely important to us, and all vehicles undergo preparation checks before being released to customers.
We would, however, like to address your suggestion that the tyre was simply turned around to conceal the damage. Many tyres have designated inside and outside sidewalls and must be fitted in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. It would therefore not be as straightforward as simply turning the tyre around to hide a cut.
We also strongly refute the suggestion that FOW would knowingly conceal a safety defect or deliberately put a customer at risk to reduce costs. This is not reflective of our standards or how we operate.
We're sorry that you felt rushed during your purchase and that your overall experience did not meet your expectations.

A huge variety of stock at the Winsford branch. Service and staff support throughout was brilliant! Ruby our salesperson was a genuinely lovely human being, down to earth, funny, helpful and also kindly borrowed me her charger for my phone. This is our second car we have bought from FOW.I have now a new red car and was able to take it the same day!
