Can’t believe how good First Light Optics are. They have answered tons of emails for me helping me decide my purchases and their prices are great too. I don’t look anywhere else now.

Would have been 5 stars had it not been for the fact that the stock element on the website was incorrect. After a couple of quick emails problem was solved. Other than that a very reliable company.

Excellent. First time buyer but I read the reviews and they were all good so I thought I'd give them a try. Click click click and it's here the next day and in good condition (well done courier service). Good company to do business with.

Run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. Can't ask for better service from FLO.

Dealt with FLO many times for astro equipment and can safely say that genuinely they are about as good as it gets. You are kept regularly updated on any order progress, the stock levels are noted and order lead times are pretty accurate and the prices are extremely competitive.

First time I've dealt with this company and I must say it was a first class experience.

I purchased x3 telescope eyepieces from them, which were delivered quickly and for technical reasons they didn't work on my scope.
Firstlight tried to help technically as much as possible but I had no joy getting the eyepieces to work in my scope, my scope was either faulty or incompatible?

Returned everything for a full refund and was refunded promptly, good experience from purchase to return.

I ordered some eyepieces and filters from the site. A bit of confusion from the way the status was displayed, I send them an email which they answered within a few hours. They were in the middle of their busiest period, which meant a few days delay. But they were honest and the delivery time was still good, considering it needed to be sent from UK to Denmark.

If companies don't physically have stock they should advertise they do nor state delivery will be within a set time. In this case 2-4 days. They take your money and waste your time. They never had stock. Indeed I got a refund but that was only because I was chasing them up. Otherwise they'd still sit with my money until something turned out. In the end the supplier advised the +30 days. Not good business practice and a WASTE of my time. Avoid.

As a relative newcomer to Astronomy it was great to find a supplier who (i) gave clear, impartial advice in a patient manner (ii) had great prices and (iii) great service (and, for us, wasn't too far away if there were problems)

We got a telescope for our little girl at Christmas and FLO were great from start to finish - you know how some companies just give off that air of confidence and competence you know everything will be great . . . .
