Absolutely first class service from Ann and Chris.

Made me feel important as a customer, kept me updated when I asked, fast delivery when I needed it.

If you are in the market for this type of equipment I cant recommend them enough.

Purchased a sky watcher 72 ED with a lends defect that caused it to crack when used in cold conditions. Warranty was refused and all attempts to speak with customer support have been ignored.

I've ordered from FLO quite a few times over the past few years and never had an issue. They have become my first port of call when I need astronomy equipment, and have always provided great service.

Recently I bought the parts for an astrophotography setup which is quite a bit more complex than anything I've used before. I decided to contact FLO to get some advice on my list of parts, and I'm really happy I asked.

Alex promptly responded with a friendly and detailed email which revealed quite a few things I hadn't considered. A few emails later I'd updated my list with the new parts that were required. They were also very accommodating of a special request I had (to avoid delivering between set dates when I would be away from home).

The parts arrived promptly once everything had come into stock, and now it's set up, the system works flawlessly, which definitely would not have been the case were it not for Alex's help.

It's also nice to see a UK astronomy retailer that takes pride in their website. Most of them seem like they haven't changed in 20 years, but FLO's looks great and provides a pleasant user experience.

Based on my experience I would highly recommend FLO.

Sent FLO a speculative email request for a spare part - a locking bolt/handle - for my telescope mount that had been broken. They were very helpful and dug one out of the workshop and sent it to me for the cost of the postage. It also arrived soooo fast. Absolutely Fantastic! Definitely going through them on my next 'essential' telescope purchase.

Every experience with First Light Optics is nothing less than 1st class. Yes it is email correspondence, but always prompt and courteous. Used many times over the last two years without issues and will continue to do so with complete faith. I have made errors in the past, but Flo have always responded promptly and positively with refunds or rectifications to my order errors. It is frustrating when you cannot get what you want, when you want it, but with Flo, get it you will once back in stock. Totally recommend.

My first order of some books was delivered quickly& efficiently, so I decided to use FLO for my next purchase.
I asked a load of novice questions in order to buy the correct items. Emails were replied to quickly, which led to more questions..again replied to quickly.
I eventually worked out what I needed and placed my order.. Alex was very patient and helped me along the confusing path, he helped balance my aims with budget.. I'm more than happy to recommend and if I could give more than 5 stars I would..

Efficient ordering - prompt to dispatch. Disappointed that the delivery was split in two so one part arrived days before the other (it's one item, you can't use half of it!)- which when you've spent so much (£800+) and are still charged for "express courier" ontop is a bit naff. Wrote to the company to say so (waited in on day 1, then had to also wait in on day 3) and was just told 'that can happen'. Kind of took the shine off.

Bought a Barlow Lens from FLO, or should it be DTO!
Anyway, when I emailed them to to say I wasn’t happy with the item I was met with a very sarcastic and condescending reply. When I told them I wasn’t happy with the response either…they just blanked me.

Not surprised to see so many negative responses!

They are great I had some trouble with my az gti and I sent an email to them and they responded very fast they explained how to set the az gti up in great detail and it was easy for me to understand and now I'm all set up and it's brilliant thank you for your great service

I was very surprised to see a one star review. I've been out of astronomy for a long time (I was married) and I'm gradually getting back into it. (She divorced me.) I've used FLO for kit and advice over the past year or so and never found them anything but excellent. Well worth of five stars in my experience and opinion.

Customer service is terrible after a month of constant emails with no number what so ever to ring they are blaming me for the scope being out of collimation, I'd avoid won't be using them again

Not knowing very much about telescope lenses, I asked a very broad question about them.
The chap replied within 24 hours and was super helpful and explained exactly what I needed to know about a zoom lense and gave me a couple of options to look at.

I bought one of his recommendations and again within 24 hours it arrived, well packed nice and secure.
Amazing service from start to finish from FLO and I can't recommend them highly enough from my experience.

I spent nearly a month trying to get a order together from RVO ended up cancelling it the same order took three days to get to me with FLO first class service

Website is nice and easy to use. Item arrived the next day with DPD, nicely packaged and everything spot on. Will use again in future.

Ordered a telescope and accessories, then filters, eyepieces, etc, etc,etc.

Never had an issue with any order. Those lads in Devon understand great customer service and brand profile.

Goods are always very well packaged and protected. Delivery is typically within 48 hrs (business days) for in stock items and when they advertise it’s in stock, it’s in stock, unlike some other companies who will take payment for in stock items but 3 weeks late cancel because they can’t get it.

When it’s on back order their website gives a forecast of when things are back in which is also pretty accurate.

Great job guys keep it up.
